In my experience, it has always started with a discussion, followed by some sort of massage, ultra sound and even cupping (prep and loosen up). Then I go into various exercises and finally some sort of heat and/or ice. On leaving I am provided with some instructions and (occasionally) given bands, balls, putty, etc. for in home use. My experience at California Rehab and Sports Therapy was nothing like I was used to. To start with the front end staff was not very welcoming. The initial person that evaluated me, seemed to want me to answer their question a certain way, rather than listen to what my current injuries were in order to properly treat me. I wasn't being heard. I was then given over to someone for various exercises. The place is rather small and packed with patients. Afterwards I was given some instructions but no take home things (such as bands etc). On my 3 visits it seemed to only get worse, the person(s) working with me would also be working with 3-4 others at the same time (one gentleman was nice and apologized every time he returned). I was then told to do a side step (with a band on my knees) as I was trying patients and therapists would walk in front of me and get in my way. At every visit I received absolutely no personal attention in the way of massage, tens unit, heat/ cold or any real person attention to my issues or needs. I've always looked forward to PT to help in my care, at this place I dreaded it every single time. I finally reached out to the insurance to transfer me to another PT provider. My normal thing is to reach out to the facility before I review, but their website only allows you to leave your contact info. It's important to note that their reviews here are awful, so I'm not alone. It seems like a place with a ton of locations geared for mass patients and not individual care and personal help (this is evident in that it all open space with no private areas for specialized care). Good medical care is difficult to find, and it's not to much to ask for decent service and individual attention to help the patient. In my opinion, a total fail!!!

I couldn't run for any sustained period of time, and thus my cardio exercise was non-existent. Cut to the chase-- I came here, and they helped get my knee back to 95%! I can run and squat now. The massages and exercise regimen was just the right level of intensity to both heal and strengthen my leg. For context, I got treatment in late '22, and a year later, no major setbacks to my knees other than the normal aches and pains of not being young any more.

Does your foot hurt? He can find where it is stemming from and treat it accordingly. Gary's personality will motivate you and his knowledge is impeccable. Ron is great at managing this business and has great skills for TMJ patients as well as a long work history. As a veteran who has been dismissed by many doctors, it is finally great to be heard and treated.

My experience with More Physical Therapy (North San Jose branch) made me want More (get it?) than I received. I went in for tibial tendon injuries in both feet/ankles. I get a printout of exercises to do...and that's about it. That happened with repeated visits. I could have saved gas money and my time by just going online to find the same exercises. They have too many patients and not enough time for each patient, which is why I guess they need to utilize this physical therapy philosophy. Maybe in the pre-internet era this would have worked. Now, it just seems lazy and a lack of caring for their patients. There's a reason why they are at a 3.7 yelp rating as of January 2026. You can do better than More Physical Therapy when you need physical therapy, and I sincerely hope that they do better for their patients in the future.

Michael and Aaron do a great job Manning the Fort behind the front desk, they offer great customer support online, I over the phone, and even in-person. They were able to make scheduling and billing a stress-free experience, which I truly appreciate! Hallelujah! Then, I was blessed to be linked to work with Christene Wang PT, DPT. She's a phenomenal human being and an amazing practitioner of her craft, and although PT is a science, her graceful approach and style of instruction added an Artistic touch to every session. She immediately gained my Trust! I was in a bad car accident, I have Multiple Sclerosis, and going through a horrendous custody battle; Christine acknowledged all of three, realized their impact on my injury, and factored them into a well tailored treatment program that took me further on down the road to recovery!
