I always meant to write a review warning parents not to bother with this place. All they care about is the almighty dollar. It's hard to even get a director to look your way to greet you, but they sure are willing to talk about payments due! That is literally the only time they fake nice. This one director (or assistant), Jessica, is always loudly gossiping at the end of the day. Unprofessional as parents are walking by. Kids Campus has been nothing but a positive experience for our family. My son has been here for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loves it. Every teacher he's had has been loving, attentive and kind to my son and all of the kids in his classrooms. They run this like a school, keep the kids busy and have a really great structure to prepare them for school. As a first time parent, it's hard to know where to pick a daycare but we are so incredibly happy here. Horrible experience! It's been a few months that I got my son out of that horrible place. I don't know how Nicole(coordinator) is in charge of running that place. Everyday I would drop off my son, I would see Nicole, I would say good morning with no reply back. When the door wouldn't open because I had issues with the screen she would open the door in a nasty way. I would get calls from Nicole or Tara telling me that my son is "causing trouble" and he would be remove from the classroom for the rest of the day. When I would go pick him up he would be at the front desk by himself. My son is non verbal autistic kid. He was only two when he started going to this horrible place. One time when Nicole called me to discuss my child's behavior, I told them that I was going to put my husband on the phone to give a second, I put the call on mute and I heard Nicole tell Tara "great she's going to put the whole family on the phone " sounding sarcastically. It boiled my blood, felt so disrespected. Since my day my son never went back. Another time the school district wanted to have a meeting with his teacher so we can get an IEP for him. I had informed of this meeting to the teacher and she said Nicole (coordinator) had informed her too. The teacher said she would be in the meeting (zoom ) for a few minutes to just inform the school psychologist of my son's day to day activities . On the day of the meeting the teacher never logged in, I asked the next day what had happed and she said to me That Nicole did not allowed her to log in. If you have a special needs child please do not enroll them in this day care. They choose who they want to be nice to. To this day regret enrolling my son in this day care. Kids campus is truly a shame. If you are thinking about bringing your child here, please don't. The teachers we had were more like nannies than teachers, unable to provide a positive learning environment for my child. There were instances where my child wasn't even prompted to learn or be taught. When issuing concerns with anything at fault, as if we were talking to heartless robots who didn't care about my child, or my child's needs. I would definitely stay away and advise you to take your child somewhere they could be cared for efficiently. read more

We absolutely loved Kids Campus Lynbrook for our son. I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful and nurturing the teachers here are. As a first time mom, it was difficult to leave him in someone else's care and trust strangers. However, Ms. Yasandra and Ms. Ashley were absolutely amazing with him! They treated my son as if he were their own child! The following year he moved up to Ms. Amanda and Ms. Monica's class. They were just as amazing as his first year teachers! So very loving and caring! Sometimes, we needed early drop off. The morning teachers ( I forget some names) were also amazing with him! I am so thankful for the teachers he's had. They put my mind at ease from day one. The level of attention the kids get here is unparalleled. He's learned so much there as well! I know he's so smart because of the socialization and the learning he has received at this school. I liked the fingerprint entrance and felt that my son was very safe and in excellent hands. He really loved it and talked about his teachers all the time at home. I highly recommend this Daycare. It was a wonderful experience. read more

As a first time mom, I was a literal crazy person enrolling my child in daycare for the first time after he had been watched only by my mom for the first year. I laughed a little reading the review where the directors were called cold, because that is not my experience. When i brought my son to test out, I cried the entire time, Nicole hugged me and made me feel less crazy. When I had irrational requests or concerned, she validated me and made me comfortable. Tara greets me with a smile every afternoon. And as for my son, it's been 6 months now and he has never been hurt, he is always fed, he actually cries when we leave because he's having fun. He's learned how to do things I wouldn't have even thought to teach him myself and i never worry while he's there. I have zero regrets about my decision to have him there. read more

My son was there since he was 2 year old. He had a great time at Kids campus. The teachers were so attentive to every kid needs. They allow them to explore yet they also correct kids behavior to make sure kids understand how to socialize with others in harmony matter. They are as passionate as the parents with mental/physical growth of the children. Kids campus will try their best to accommodate kids/family need and ensure kids are healthy and happy everyday. My son is at pre-K now and he knows more than kids in his current class because he had learn so much when he was at kids campus. Thanks to all the kids campus faculty. Special shout out to Ms. Tara/Ms Sofia/Ms Betty/Ms Nicole and all other teachers who involved so much with Darren! My older daughter has been going here for 3 years and when I had my second I knew she'd be following; however, I had never used the baby room. I cannot say enough about how phenomenal the baby room is! I get updates all day with pictures, my daughter is well taken care of, and the teachers love on her every day before leaving. They change her diaper more often than I do at home! THE BEST! My older daughter is now in the pre-k room after the toddler and preschool room. She has learned a lot, is loved, and her medical needs are met everyday by the amazing directors. I cannot say enough good about our "home away from home." I work full time and don't worry for a minute that my girls are in the best hands possible! read more

Kids campus is a shame. If you are thinking about bringing your child here, please think twice. My son spent almost two months in this pre-k and has not learned one thing. We just moved here and had enough experience with other day cares and prek in the past where he always learned great deal for his age. Not the case here. The teachers we had were more like nannies/ baby sitters than teachers. They seemed to lack knowledge on child psychology and weren't able to provide positive learning environment for my child. As far as safety, again I would think twice. My son had his fingers caught in the door and was hit on the head with the door , all done by the teachers, after which he ended up with a large bump. There was no apologies, their reply was that he is too active. From the moment we stepped into this place, we were met with grumpy/ stressed out faces. The director, Nicole, always gave attitude, would never bring her eyes up from her desk to simply say hello. Their are more like robots without any human touch. My husband and I felt very unwelcoming, definitely not a place to trust your child with. Now, the food is all snacks, my son was always hungry. For the amount of money you pay, they could easily provide two solid meals per day + snacks. Stay away. read more

Where to begin with kids campus. Fantastic place. Me and my wife took the chance and brought our first born here and couldn't have been happier. Very quickly we saw improvement on our daughters social skills, everyday came home happy, exited to go back the next day. When you're at work it's nerve racking to leave your flesh and blood with strangers but kids campus has a select group of people working there who truly care about your children as if they are their own. We decided to bring our son here this year. He's already improving on numbers, speech sounds more clear and fluent and i know he's in safe hands which makes my day easier. To anyone who is reading this trying to decide to take their kids there. All i can say is take the risk and do it. Don't let others ruin it for you like Alena and Julie T. When you let your kids run wild at home how can you expect to drop them off somewhere and have them learn and behave they will run wild like wolves. Both of my children have always been fed properly, never complained about being hungry, never came home with signs of negligence. Kids fall and get bruises that's natural, but always in good hands. My daughter has been coming here since she turned 2, at first we had a rough 2 months her getting adjusted to new faces, but I'm Soo thankful for the wonderful staff at kids campus! Not sure why there is a bad review on here at all for kids campus my daughter just celebrated her 4th birthday and the whole staff including teachers went above and beyond for her special day including decorations and as a working mom meant the world to me as well as they provide not only lunch but a breakfast and snacks. not only that but Miss Tara and Miss Nicole who are the directors of this school go above and beyond to help and make sure every student has a pleasant and great day. All the teachers are so nice and caring and treated my daughter like one of their own from day one. This school for me has been nothing but a constant blessing and makes being a working mom that much easier. I highly recommend this school to everyone and my daughter and I absolutely love it read more
