While exploring Little Tokyo, my daughter and I stopped into Kiddleton. We've done a few claw machine style games in Vegas, so it was cool to see a stop in LA as well. This place also has some dance and rhythm arcade games in the back as well. Inside the claw machine games, there were plushies, anime figurines, collectibles and more. You do have to exchange the cash for tokens to play throughout the Kiddleton game area. There are a lot of different games to choose from. Most range between 1 to 2 tokens per claw machine game. It was a fun stop to go inside while exploring Little Tokyo LA. Our hotel we were staying at for a few days was the DoubleTree Hilton, which was just a few minutes away from the plaza where Kiddleton was located at. There is a lot to do in the area! read more

We love claw machines! This place is located right across from the Sega pop up shop (June 2025) so it's nice to stop by after grabbing lunch. Definitely hard to get a prize but easy access and clean space! Always a fun time ^^ read more

Kiddleton - Inside - Video Game Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

It's kid gambling that gets addicting very quickly if you're not careful. Many little claw machines to try to get trinkets, but as usual, the claws are calibrated too weak to pick up anything other than the lightest prizes. I snagged myself two little chicken danglies in one go on one machine! And wasted the rest of my $5 trying to get other cute things that get gripped but the claw but then immediately dropped when the claw violently shakes at the top of the cycle. Shady? Maybe. There are staff present all the time and walking around, so you never worry about losing money on a jammed game. read more

The worst money spent !! Lmao omg 40 dollars not one win r played each one not one win no matter what machine !! Be aware

This place takes claw machines to a bigger level by offering multiple mini claw machines scattered throughout the venue. Here you exchange cash for tokens at special machines inside to play the claw machines. The claws have a fairly weak grasp so it's certainly a significantly harder challenge to win anything here. Location is still quite busy with limited staff on hand to help with any small issues or assistance. Very simple in appearance, this location relies on the bright yellow orange lights of these machines to create a very flashy small arcade experience. read more

I want to preface this review with the fact that YES, you can win from these crane games, but it's best to survey the machines first before committing. As many other Yelpers have stated before, the machines are pretty cramped with prizes and the grip strength isn't the strongest, so I would recommend finding machines that are a bit more sparse and prizes that are a bit smaller and an added bonus is if the prize isn't bundled up and there's some "looseness" to it (meaning that the chain or strap isn't wrapped around the prize and is accessible to the crane). It's $1/token, so definitely keep this in mind before you go into the PG lite version of gambling. Most of what I've won here are only the smaller prizes. Random note, I have won more from these Kiddleton crane games that are located at grocery stores than I have here, so just gauge everything before you dive in! read more

Just know you will get scammed. You have to win through payout. $1 claw games are rigged at $100+ to win. Dont come here

Fun claw machine arcade!! Lots of games to choose from and some different games too! Would recommend coming if you're in the area.

Kids like having fun here. Lots of kids love this place. It's $1 a token but many machines require 2 tokens. read more

The selection is cute but payout is set WAY WAY WAY too high for the quality and size of prizes. It should not be over $15 of play for a literal 2 inch UNBRANDED random plush keychain. It's fun to try and it's only $1-2 dollars ($1 per coin) to try but if you cannot win within $10 it is not worth it in my opinion. You basically HAVE to hit payout in order to win because the way most of these prizes are shaped there's not really any tricks to use. We were there on a busy Saturday and not one single person won anything in any machine!!!! If you want to play for fun, I would say spend $10 maximum and just hope you get lucky and get pay out. However I wouldn't spend more than that and DO NOT EXPECT TO WIN. read more

Haven't been to one of these since OC Mitsuwa! They had such great prizes of anime and Pokémon stuff. We were surprised to see this one a few doors down from the Bandai Gacha store! It was definitely packed but nicely spaced out to move around. The only complaint I have about this one are the prizes. We made one loop around to check out everything they had but majority of them were stuff like felt keychains, stickers, and acrylic stands. Not so much figure heavy. Not sure how often they change the prizes but would love to see a weekly rotation or something like the Bandai Gacha shop! I can definitely see more activity and potential. There was also not a worker in sight? Not sure if they were on break or if this is just a public area with no one to really monitor it? I guess there wouldn't really be much of anything to steal so maybe that's why. IG: @ammysalamii read more

All Kiddleton Crane machines are a scam they intentionally machine the claw machine open without dropping the intentionally make the claw grip too weak to pick up many prizes the machine is also programmed to open the claw and drop the prize before reaching the prize drop location read more

I visited Kiddleton at the Westfield Sherman Oaks Mall with my kids, expecting a fun experience. Since it was our first time, I asked an associate how the coin machine worked so we could get started. Instead of explaining, he simply pointed at the machine. The display is very small and not intuitive, so it took me couple of minutes to figure out that the machine exchanges into 1, 5, 10, and 20 coins. After finally getting coins, we tried several claw machines. After multiple attempts, it became extremely frustrating to watch the claw pick up a prize, lift it, and then drop it every single time right before it started to move reaching the drop-off. This happened repeatedly across different machines. I asked the employee about it and explained that it felt unfair. His response was that this is how they make their money and that I should expect to try 4-5 times before winning. That was very disappointing to hear, especially when kids are involved. My kids keeper wanted to try and won only 2 prize. At this point I spend $30 fo a toys I know cost less than $1 each. It felt like the machines are intentionally designed to make you lose money rather than give a fair chance to win. I've honestly had much better luck winning prizes at Knott's Berry Farm than here, far better. In the end, I stopped playing and took my kids to MINISO USA, located on the same floor near Macy's, where we were able to buy better-quality toys and plushies for the same amount of money we would have lost at Kiddleton. Overall, this was not a great experience, at least not for me, and I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Cute crane arcade shop. $1 = 1 token play. You can get tokens from the change machine. Credit cards accepted. The crane claws aren't firm enough to hold the toys and the toy will eventually fall out. I saw so many instances of this happening and it happened to me. Unless you're an expert, don't waste your money. You can purchase the same toy in the local shops nearby without wasting money for a futile effort. Although the staff are very friendly and helpful, this place just takes your money. read more

Kiddleton is a place with hundreds of small claw crane machines and a few big claw crane machines. It costs one dollar to get one token, and each small machine requires one token to play, while each big machine requires two tokens to play. If you're just looking for a one-time fun experience without expecting to win any stuffed animals, it could be enjoyable. However, if you're hoping to win a prize, I would not recommend coming here. During my visit, my friends and I spent $20 and only caught 2 toys. There were more than 20 people in the shop playing, but we were the only ones who managed to catch anything. The claws are very weak and unable to pick up even lightweight toys. Despite trying multiple times, we were unsuccessful in winning many prizes. I would rate Kiddleton 3 stars. It has potential, but the machines need improvement. It would be great if they could strengthen the claws to increase the chances of winning as result they would get better reviews. read more

Please save your money and go someplace else. We came one afternoon since we were in the plaza and we love these "jawawa" places. We were about to exchange some money for tokens but decided to look around before doing so, and boy am I glad we did. We were watching this guy try a few times on the machine until he was one try away from getting it. He ran out of tokens, so we told him we'd watch the machine while he exchanged some more. Within 30 seconds, the Asian guy with a buzz cut (the owner, according to the front desk worker) came over, unlocked the machine, and moved that EXACT toy way back and rearranged the whole machine. I told him that wasn't cool and that we were holding the machine for someone to come back and win. He didn't care and just walked away. People typically spend $5-10 or more for a toy worth a few cents, and if you're going to be this greedy or "xiao qi" in Mandarin, forget about it. If you really love these games, please go to Neofuns in MPK, this is our go to spot with the niece & nephew and the customer service there is top notch. Seriously, don't come here. read more

If you want to save money, don't go. We spent $70 on four small toys; if it weren't for my daughter's birthday wish since last year, we wouldn't have even driven from Vegas through the heavy traffic after seeing their poor Yelp rating. Not really fun at all. read more

If you go in with little expectations you'll have fun but quickly go through 20 bucks. If you go in hoping for the world, you'll be unhappy and still out $20. We have used these little claw machines at a couple other places near our hometown with a lot more success. These particular ones I don't know of the claws tension are a little different or the plushes put inside are heavier but the frustration of picking one up and it falling just before the drop more than you would expect is really frustrating. I understand that this is the whole point of a gotcha store. I mean you are basically gambling for a plushie of some sort in these places. But some of them seemed deliberately stocked with plushies that the claws couldn't handle unless you somehow got a chain or something. read more

Service is 2 thumbs up. Pleasant crew and very helpful. They got a lot of cool selections. Your prices is more than worth the value.

It cheats! The ones in my walmart will drop your prize when you pick it up. It opens just slightly and drops the prize. I was able to pick up one each time and every time, it opens just enough to drop before it gets to the hole. Not only that, its $1 for ONE TOKEN each. Very scammy and a money stealer unfortunately. I dont recommend.. read more

I have never played on more rigged claw machines. Almost every single one here has a weak claw and drops the item the second it picks it up. Ugh, this place is such a money suck. Normally we can win 2 or 3 items with 15 dollars but this time we only walked away with 1. My youngest was hell bent on getting this one rabbit with a jewel, so I asked the worker if it's possible to just buy it and she said no. Fair enough, and she was nice enough to help angle it so I could grab it better but honestly it came down to the claw. The claws suck here. I came so many times winning but it would grab and each time it would fall out of the claw as it was moving to the drop. Argh the frustration read more

The employees here are a joke. I request to have something moved because prizes are legit cramped inside and unable nor possible to move unless you invest tons to move them. After asking kindly to rearrange, they have the nerve to talk loud saying they can't be doing that to another employee. Like what? Are you joking? This place is definitely a scam. Rude employees. This place needs to change the chance of winning, maybe every other 3-4 coins. There is no payout. I understand that this is also a tourist spot but the fact you're spending so much for a. 50 product is insane. (I'm here cause my sister wanted the small bears. It's her birthday and I gave her $40 to spend at her will. She won about 2-3 items.) read more
