I've sold to Kid to Kid many times before and the experience was good. Well today I came and brought clothes in VERY good condition bc like I said I've sold here before, and a lot of it was jeans sweaters and long sleeves in great condition. Nike, Cat and Jack, Children's Place, Old Navy, Gap etc. I went through it and made sure there were no stains, no rips or holes and when I came to pick up they give me more than half of it back and upon asking why, the girl states "ALOT of your clothes had stains, jeans were worn out at the knees with holes and just looked used" I was so mad that she said that was the reason specifically because I'm not a new seller and because I had spent the entire morning sorting out and separating the clothes to ensure it was acceptable. Sooooo, needless to say, I'll go somewhere else that they'll accept my gently used and in good condition clothing! read more

Marlene allowed someone else to take an almost brand new walker I dropped off. Said there was nothing she could do. It was my first time visiting and will be telling everyone to not visit here. I can not believe they didn't check that it wasn't his. I asked to speak to the manager or owner and she said "she isn't here." I had such high hopes for this store but they need to have a more professional check out procedures. I asked to have the contact info for the manager but the salesgirl, Marlene, refused to give it to me. I emailed the store twice and never heard back. So disappointing. read more

I absolutely love Kid to Kid! Gently used kids resale shop. This store is mostly clothing but they have a great selection of toys. I've also noticed they always have several pairs of bane brand cowboy boots! The Burleson store is smaller than others but I always find what I'm lo so much money!! They just had a yearly clearance sale (fill the bag for $15) and I grabbed 27 items!! read more

Have come in a few time to make some purchases. Every time the service is extremely slow. Once upon a child is always faster and has a better selection. Today i was purchasing some some clothes. It took them forever just to take the clothes off the hanger then ring it up. The entire time the girls are talking about a million other things. Finally when i go to pay she says the reader can't read my card. Semi cheap clothes is not worth all this headache. I'll never be back. read more

This location is getting harder and harder to sell to, they hardly take anything anymore, most likely because they are way to small of a location, I think it's time they expand and move to a better, larger location. The girls clothing sizes 4-5 never have anything nice, there is stains on a lot of the outfits, and a lot of times stuff is really worn out. Yet my clothes are never bought even though I keep my kids clothing in excellent shape. They never give me more than $10-12 dollars for my items. I also feel like their prices have gone up recently. I still like going to the store for boys clothing for my son but I never buy anything for my daughter anymore. read more

I have moved from NRH and have visited the watauga store and the bedford store....bedford is by far the best and largest. After buying a home in Burleson I was alittle sad after visiting this store. They really dont have that much in the way of toys but the girls who work there were nice. When I tried to sell my boys clothes and toys there they only took 3 items out of the entire box...I started to second guess my items but saw another mom leave with her items also. Because of this I ended up driving to the hulen location where they bought more than half the box. read more

Kid to Kid is a great little re-sale store with a ton of kids clothes. They also have a few new things as well. Everything seemed to be in great condition and prices were better than the nearby Goodwill. They do however need boys clothing. So if you have some to get rid of this is also the place. And there were enough toys about to keep the kids entertained as we shopped. read more

Kid to Kid is a cute resale store but just beware that you can buy new kid clothes for what they charge. I am a very thrifty shopper so please don't take offense if you shop at this store. I understand that they have to make money for overhead cost, etc..I have 3 kids, all under the age of 5 and have tried selling gently used clothes there 3 times now. The first time I learned my lesson because I just brought everything that they couldn't wear anymore up there, so there were stains on a lot of the clothes. Probably 4 garbage bags worth of clothes...they called me back and offered me $7...I was in shock but got over it and they explained to me that they can't take certain brands or stains etc. Today I went up there to sell my kid's clothes, toys and a $200 infant bed set (barely used)...The clothing consisted of a lot of spring dresses, Christmas dresses (you know the kind your kid only wears one time) and some brand new boy's pants (still with the tag) and probably about 8 pairs of hardly worn shoes (the bottoms of them weren't even faded or scuffed). They called me back and offered me $30. Needless to say this upsets me, so I will be using my store credit on uniforms for my daughter and won't be returning. On the plus side, if you just don't know anyone that you can donate to, they will donate for you...IF they have room. The Goodwill in Burleson is a lot cheaper and every 3rd Wednesday of the month is 50% off. I will be shopping there from now on. read more

I knew not to expect much for my clothes, so I wasn't too upset about that. The store was a mess though. It was so cluttered that it was dfficult to make your way down the aisles. Furthermore the workers were rude. There were four girls working, just talking about their weekend plans, not helping or cleaning up the clutter. Disappointing. read more

Went to the Buleson location to sell my daughters clothes, yes I agree some of the jeans were faded and i understood why they couldn't take them but the shirts I took in were brand new just didn't have the tags on them. Was told they couldn't buy any of the clothes because they were worn out and they had an over abundance of girl clothes for that size and asked if I would like to donate. So of course I donated her clothes to someone who needed them. Went back the following week and there were all my daughters clothes on their racks!!! I Couldn't believe that they ripped me off and lied about it to my face. I will not go back to this location. I will try this business one more time. I have three totes filled with clothes and if they give me the same BS as last time I will just sell my things on Letgo! read more

Burleson is one of my favorite kid to kid locations. The girls are always so nice and willing to help. I have yet to come out without having bought at least one item! I am huge on being able to shop peacefully and there are never a bunch of wild kids running around the store not being supervised and for that i am very thankful! Was not worth the time I spent gathering, cleaning, and sorting all my kids clothes to sell. They only accepted the clothes I brought in with price tags still on them, and the clothes that had only been worn only once or twice by my kids. They gave me .50-$1 per item. I was disgusted at the resale cost of the clothes on the floor for sale. They were much higher than I expected. The toys, in my opionion, were priced at 10% off retail price. Since it was thirty minutes away from where I live, and based on my first-time visit, I will probably never return. read more

ummmmm, maybe they were having a bad day or the stuff I had was out of season or something, but they offered me $4.25 and I asked them what all they kept and she told me "2 pairs of shoes and a sweater" - OK. So I took my unwanted basket back out to the car and thought that maybe a few more things were missing, and that I could get more than $4.25 for the pair of unworn Disney label shoes still in the box and attached to each other alone at a garage sale. I went back in and asked if it was too late to change my mind and they were very nice about returning the items and I gave them their money back but it turns out they gave me $4.25 for : 1 pair of shoes in box, 1 pair of shoes worn, 1 short sleeve sweater, 1 sweater vest, and 1 pair of dress slacks = 1 CROCK of you know WHAT! I guess they are used to people taking whatever they can and running but if you really look at it it doesn't seem fair - less than $1 a piece! We will not be returning TO ANY OF THE STORES, if for nothing else the lying about what they kept and paid for. read more
