The store is clean, bright, and impressively organized, which already puts it a step above many thrift stores. Racks are easy to navigate, categories actually make sense, and nothing feels chaotic or overwhelming. There is a serious plethora of clothing here, whether you're casually browsing or intentionally sourcing. It's one of those locations where you can spend time digging and consistently find solid pieces. The location itself is also incredibly convenient, making it an easy stop whether you're running errands or making a dedicated thrifting trip. Customer service deserves a shout out as well. Staff members are friendly, approachable, and present, which is not always a given at thrift stores. The only real downside, and this is more of a Goodwill wide issue than a location specific one, is pricing. Prices have definitely crept up over time, so if you're a hardcore thrifter used to bargain basement finds, be prepared to spend more than you might at smaller local shops. That said, between the cleanliness, organization, selection, and service, this Goodwill still earns its five stars and remains a dependable go to for quality secondhand shopping.

Absolutely NO !!! Would give it a zero but that wasn't an option…read more I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLEBURNE GOODWILL. Take the short drive & shop the *****BURLESON GOODWILL*****. A 5 star staff. Cleburne on-site manager is rude, hateful, and discriminates in enforcement of company policies. When items are pointed out to her that are in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, she verbally lies and says that she will have the tags description changed, and does not. This used to be my favorite store. It is obvious that the on-site manager has no idea how to build team spirit. Employees have left due to hostile work environment. You can also see that the remaining employees are working in a tense atmosphere. For a time period there were even signs, put on furniture for sell, not allowing you to sit down. For which I was reprimanded by manager. So anyone, including older and handicapped individual had nowhere to rest before continuing to shop. As a handicapped individual, I had to bring my walker in ( which I don't need as I can navigate with just a cane), so I had seating to rest while shopping. Awkward to navigate that with a shopping cart. Seriously, CORPORATE GOODWILL this is strike #2 in selecting managers for the Cleburne Goodwill. Also, and I have photos for documentation, despite numerous conversations with manager,multiple problems that customers encounter are not corrected. To test electrical items, the location of the outlets allowed are either nonfunctional or so low to the ground, that I have personally observed people sitting on floor to test things, and then needing assistance to get up. P.S. If corporate sees this,please remember how long it took you to realize about manager mistake #1...when you were warned at least 6 months before you finally took action.

I'm talking shopping bags- plastic, canvas, grocery ones-big, small and in between and I'm a sucker for using these to transport stuff from here to there. Skip forward to my checkout experience. Ehh-could have been better. No "hello" or "how are you" and customer service is a big deal to me. I had quite a few garments to check out- jeans, tops, kids clothes, etc. and my bag of bags. I was taken aback when the young man began putting my items in old used trash bags. Like ones that probably came in with donations in them originally. They were torn in places and honestly gross w hair, dust, grass, paper clips, etc. and they smelled bad. I didn't even want to put them in my car, so I opened my mystery bag of bags and transferred my items into a nice J Crew shopping tote! I couldn't believe how many bags were in this bundle of bags! Smack in the middle of them was a very nice canvas Gucci dust bag. SCORE! Then a Zara one...then a small YSL one. I was shocked. This is what thrifting is all about. Taking chances...and while doing so, sometimes you have to look past the ick. Haltom thrift redeemed itself.
