I wasn't expecting to fall in love with a children's boutique store, but that's kind of what happened. Every time I go in, I find something that feels just right. The clothes are fun and well made, and still feel like something kids can actually wear and enjoy. The styles have this lovely balance of being classic but still playful. My granddaughter loves the clothes I have bought for her from this adorable shop. And they're not clothes I find at other Dallas children's boutiques. The women who work there go out of their way to help me find the right sizes. And they are genuinely nice and make me feel welcome every time I come in. When I fell in love with an outfit that they didn't have it in the size I needed, they quickly suggested that they could order it for me. Within a week it arrived and they called to tell me it was at the shop. Love this kind of service! And it doesn't stop with the clothes. They carry so many precious toys that I don't find at most stores I go to. Today I bought the cutest stuffed mummy for my grandson for Halloween. And then I saw the most adorable Halloween bag that is being personalized for him. It's orange and white striped with little ghost and candy corn stitched in it. Just too cute!!! If you're looking for baby or children's clothes that are fun, fashionable, and unique - you must stop by Layette! You will not be disappointed.

And they must be comfortable, because the kids in our lives love them! They staff has ALWAYS been helpful on EVERY visit, so I was honestly a bit surprised that other reviewers have said it was less than stellar, because stellar is the exact word I would use to describe them. In addition to clothes, they also carry some great books and toys. If you have young children in your life, you owe it to them and to yourself to know about this place! Review #2178

They have changing rooms and the costumes ranged pretty much from $60-$90 and you get to keep them for a week! Be careful because if you lose or damage the costume it ends up being something like $350!!

I was scrambling and in rapid-react mode. The competitor did me a solid and referred me to Bring the Baby, so I put that iron in the fire as I ran down the list of options. Sure enough, they got back to me. The lady representing Bring the Baby, Amy, called to inform me that she had what I needed in stock and after some discussion about pickup, I was able to coordinate two carseats to be where I needed them the next day. Bring the Baby saved not only my ass from Daddy Failure, but my family from a boatload of hassle, my checkbook from about $500 worth of car rental, and my sanity from a not-at-all-insignificant amount of self-chastisement. Pickup was a cinch thanks to clever and detailed directions. Drop-off was even easier, and the price was very agreeable. My hat is off to Amy and Bring the Baby. Find them at www.bringthebaby.com
