There's a 3% credit card fee, and an environmental fee (if you take out) because "everyone is doing it, " I was told. They said they use expensive take out containers because they are biodegradable. They also have special rates on Sunday, Monday and Thursday that are only given if you "eat in." For instance, Monday's burgers are $2.00 off, only if you dine in. How does this make sense? My take out order: 10 burgers at $14.50 each + $145 five appetizers at $8 each = $40 take-out containers $15 TOTAL CHARGES $200 Tax on $200 is $13.25, remembering you're paying sales tax on the containers. The total of this bill is $213.25 Then they add the 3% for using a credit card for the total order of $213.25, which includes the take out containers! = $6.40 FINAL BILL is $219.65. They are missing out on an $197.26 (includes sales tax) food order because of their "extra fees!" That makes perfect sense! Won't be doing take out from this place! Unconscionable! read more

Great Biers, Service....got robbed and not in the parking lot. Wings for years were epic; now freezer-burn fried bs. Don't order the panini unless you have the incisors to tear it apart. Won't a split check?!?! A group of guys ages 50+ meet every other month and rotate places in Gloucester Township area. We have anywhere from 4 to 8 or 9 of us. Some come for a beer, some eat, some have soda, some don't eat or drink at all. They absolutely refused to split the check for us. Before we ordered, I told the waitress to tell the manager that we wouldn't be back if that was the case, he/she didn't seem to care, and didn't even have the decency to come out and talk to me. He made the server try to explain. When the check came, of course it was a major pain and awkward (you owe $5, you owe $30, etc.) for what should be a simple request. If you go with less than 6, the food's not bad. If you want to meet a few people more than 5 who come and go, forget it. Too much trouble. Won't be back for sure. And I always wonder about an establishment where a manager is too busy to come out and talk to a dissatisfied customer. Oh well. read more

We had lunch at Kid Rip's today after seeing a post on FB in South Jersey Food Scene. It was delicious! An interesting variety of menu items. I am gluten free and they were very accommodating! In fact, their menu has GF options listed. We had the bacon BBQ burger and it did not disappoint! Done perfectly pink in the middle light crust on outside and the Smokey spicey sweet seasonings were a terrific pairing! We tried the Downey's pumpkin cider on tap and it was great! Noah was our server and he was awesome! Warm and friendly, accommodating and attentive. Wow. So amazed with this hidden gem right on the black horse pike. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming and the bars decor was original and tasteful. Warning, it is quite loud.. but what bar isn't? I arrived with a party of five and we were seated immediately. We started with some appetizers of fried pickles and avocado fries. I would definitely recommend both! We then received our entrees. They were all presented beautifully and full of flavor. I enjoyed the black bean burger and it was comparable to others I have tried. However, when I had a taste of the veggie panini I was blown away! It was fantastic. The others in my party seemed to really enjoy their meal as well. From the outside I thought this place can't possibly have decent food but I was starving and didn't care. I am so glad we ate here!!! I had the Jersey Burger. It was absolutely amazing!!!! So full of flavor!!!! I had it bunless since I am gluten free. So I enjoyed every bite of flavor!!! My husband had the Avocado Burger and said it was excellent! Their house cut chips are incredible!!!! They come with your meal. They were so good we ordered the appetizer that come with a choice of 2 homemade sauces. My husband had the side salad in place of the chips and loved it. The homemade dressing was full of flavor! The only 2 things I didn't like are: no fresh brewed ice tea and only 1 choice for gluten free beer. Other than that we loved this place!!!!! We are only passing through as we live in PA. Have gone here several times. The food is decent. On our last visit is where it went awry. We went on a Thursday night in Sept. We ordered drinks as per usual. My husband's beer arrived, but the other drink didn't arrive. We stayed hoping she would come back sooner than later. Smash cut 40 minutes later! NO other drinks hit the table, no orders were taken. We couldn't even find the young, blonde haired girl who waited on us. We dropped cash on the table for the beer and walked out. Just as we were walking out she appeared. No apology, or attempt to try and have us stay. She did manage to rudely yell our way that we had to pay for the beer. Maybe she was new or just bad at her job. Hidden behind one of the town's 3-5 diners is Kid Rip's Tavern. Ignore the political statements above the side bar and head straight for the beer and burgers. This place. Has. Great. Burgers. My go to is the bbq burger. I'll let them describe it. "8oz patty smashed on grill, topped with BBQ, French fried onions, onion jam, chopped candied bacon and Cheddar Cheese on brioche bun, served with house cut chips". Bruh. Madre de Dios, this burger is like a cloud caressing your face. Chopped Candied Bacon. I'm not even going to elaborate because you know exactly how good that is. Onion jam. ONION JAM. I don't know what it is, but it sets this burger apart from literally any other burger I've tried. Whole other levels of gooey goodness are reached. Biting this burger is like taking an elevator to the throne room, kicking the king in the nuts and dropping your mic while winking at his daughter. I'm just sayin'. read more

Their food is really fun and tasty, definitely not your typical run of the mill bar food. You can tell that whoever manages the kitchen puts a lot of love into their menu and everything that leaves the kitchen. Can't forget to mention the long list of great beers on tap as well that can pair with any meal options you're into. If you've been on the fence about this place definitely check it out. Kid rips is absolutely disgusting not only does it feel like I ate a salt shaker I have ulcers in my mouth I think from the salt content the fries came out cold I was charged $.50 for mayonnaise no catchup on the table nor did they ask if I wanted ketchup for the fries that I ordered I ordered a Cubano barely anything on it overall, the food was very disappointing The tastiest thing that we both had was our water with lemon and that's the gods honest truth. We went there on a whim because a couple people said it was good online, but they didn't order what I ordered they may have got a different cook or some thing. I don't know our food was horrible. A friend and I stumbled upon this place total l y by accident and I am so thrilled we did. What a GEM!! Everyone was so friendly; our waitress chit chatted with us about their extensive beer menu. Being a huge beer snob and an IPA fan, she suggested a beer and it was really delicious. Are you vegetarian or vegan like me? Worry not! They have options on their menu and their food is bangin' - come hungry, leave happy. What really got me is how many craft beers they have. This is a great place to come and chill out with a friend. Food is excellent. The service is slow to be seated and after food service . It's bizarre how efficient they take an order and quickly serve it but the beginning and end of the process is painfully slow. A total hidden gem! We found this place on our drive to North Carolina from Boston. We ordered kids chicken strips, the classic burger and the BBQ burger. It took about 20 minutes from order to delivery (walked out to your car during COVID). My sons chicken strips were so crispy & juicy he devoured them! I honestly would have eaten them myself. I ordered my classic burger with no bun (GF) added bacon, it was juicy, flavorful and overall a great burger. My husband got the BBQ burger, he ate it faster than I could ask how it was. While waiting on our order at least 10 cars stopped in for their pick up! Our order came with 3 servings of fries, all crisp and seasoned well. As well as dressings of our choice. Passing through last weekend. Staying at hotel down the street, so proximity was definitely key for us. Would be five stars, but the bar area was too loud for my tender ears (whiny, I know....it is a sports bar, after all). Bethany (with an "S" // inside joke) --- took us in like family, put up with my small talk, hooked us up with some great beers we hadn't tried before, and handled my fake outrage (out of chicken fingers - egads!) with ease.
