So far so good! I wanted a long-term female pediatrician for my daughter, and Dr. Faulkner has…read morebeen amazing. She has a 7 month old baby (as well as a son in elementary school, I believe), and I have seen her 3 times now- once for meet and greet, once postpartum at the hospital, and today during my baby's first wellness exam (2 days after hospital discharge). Dr. Faulkner answered all of my questions and concerns and assured me of any worries and anxiety about being a new mom. The rest of the staff have also all been very nice. Dr. Faulkner is off Wednesdays and works rest of the weekdays. The nurse's phone line answered my questions well as I have had to call for a congestion question once thus far. I really appreciate that they have a phone line for parents to have non-emergency questions answered. I also love that the office has separate waiting area between wellness visit patients and ill patients. They also try to see newborns before sick patients first thing in the morning or first thing after lunch. Postpartum, we saw Dr. Schwartz twice at the hospital as he was the on call doctor for the weekend I delivered my baby. He is more serious in demeanor but was attentive to examining my newborn. Dr. Faulkner is more happy and upbeat, and I feel easier to talk to her regarding my questions. She always has a smile on her face!

I have nothing but good things to say about this office…read more Dr. Schwartz looks over our first born and he's just our type. Straight forward, to the point, and neutral. We came into this office when our kiddo was one and were pretty behind on shots, we didn't feel pressure from Dr. Schwartz to vaccinate but ultimately we knew it was the right thing to do. A year later we're all caught up and our kiddo still cries when he walks into one of the rooms . We definitely recommend this office!

He flailed court documents that were not related to my infant daughter's care in an effort to paint me in a bad light, and it worked. I and my mother started getting questioned instead of my abusive ex. I suffered postpartum depression and psychosis after my daughter's birth, all propagated by abusive treatment from my ex husband. I filed for divorce and attempted to coparent with him. Instead of cooperating and being accountable for his actions, he turned all focus on me, making my health a witch hunt in all aspects, even my daughter's care. Considering this practice works with infants, surely they are aware of the health challenges that may follow mothers, especially under stress and duress. Additionally, rather than taking word from whoever painted a false narrative and getting involved in matters that are not related to their patients' health, they should maintain impartiality and investigate the truth should they decide to involve themselves. My ex had these people thinking he was the insurance carrier and the financially responsible party along with whatever else false narratives. He definitely was not the responsible party and definitely provided fabricated, "legal" documents. This practice failed my daughter and me. To act in the best interest of a child means you check that they are in a healthy and loving environment, not supporting abusive behavior and not alienating a mother who is trying to care for her infant while navigating PPD and PPP.

I took my son for his one year wellness checkup at Frisco Pediatrics. The doctors had good reviews…read moreonline and I decided to take a chance with this place. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist took my info and insurance and told me that they DO ACCEPT my insurance and just to make sure there are no issues, she called me back later the same day to reconfirm that the visit will be $0 since it's a wellness checkup and insurance will take care of it. We went in for the visit and filled out all the paperwork and once the checkup was done they reassured that there is no copay or payment for the visit. About a month later, I got a bill for $475 for the wellness visit. When I called to see what that was for, they told me that unfortunately they do not take my insurance and I'm responsible for the whole amount. They took no responsibility for the fact that they were dishonest upfront about how much the visit would cost and the fact that they did not accept my insurance after all. If they had told me when I went in that they do not take my insurance and that the visit would be around $500, I would have NEVER gone through the checkup at that office. I trusted them in knowing what insurance they take. They became very rude on the phone and demanded payment and threatened to send me to the collection agency. (which they did) It's a shame how dishonest Frisco Pediatrics is in conducting business. I will never recommend this place to anyone that I know. You just never know what you are going to get and with that kind of dishonesty, I would never trust them to take care of my kids wellness needs.
