Our family has been involved at FMAC for a little over 5 years now, beginning with the training of our oldest son. Since beginning, we have all become involved with the school in some way. Our younger son is now attending traditional classes, my oldest son is involved with the leadership team, demo team and black belt classes, and my husband has just joined the ranks alongside my youngest. One of the most remarkable things about this school is that it provides the opportunity for your whole family to be involved. It is rare to be able to participate with your child in a sport...i mean, how many little league teams invite parents to play along too! As well there are alternative classes like kickboxing and bootcamp so that parents have ample opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to living an active, healthy lifestyle for their kiddos! Be forewarned...these classes are intense and will give you one heck of a workout!
The instructors are also AMAZING!!! Each and every member of the FMAC team is not only extremely competent and skilled, they also truly care about each and every one of their students, regardless of "natural" ability. They push students to achieve their personal best while teaching more important life skills through their curriculum. While other schools might be solely interested in developing the physical traits of a martial artist, FMAC takes a holistic approach, focusing attention on what it means to be a positive, contributing member of society and making connections between the training and bigger life skills.
I truly feel fortunate to be a part of such an amazing community. I would highly recommend FMAC to anyone seeking to have a unique training experience that strengthens not only your body, but your entire being. read more
