They said don't eat here and the cheesesteak was corned beef with unmelted cheese. I had the opposite experience. Two of us tasted the beef and it was definitely not corned beef. And the cheese was definitely melted. Glad I ordered it! Service was awesome. She recommended corned beef (which I don't care for) or pizza. My friends loved the corned beef.

You need to order from the app, unless it's to go (?), and the app requires you to tip in the transaction prior to actually getting service. I would not have tipped as well if 1) i did not have to ask for a plate, the Mexican coke I ordered, a glass and then a box each time going up to the 3 people huddled around the one staffer who was off duty drinking at the bar (in how work shirt) 2) i would have known that no one would come and check on us 3) i would have to clean my own table.

We also ordered a half cheese/half pepperoni pizza for the kids, but the sauce was unexpectedly spicy and they did not enjoy it. There were a few service and timing issues, too. My mom asked for her salad to arrive with the pizzas so we could all eat together, but it came out first--and the chicken was extremely over-seasoned and nearly blackened. The staff was kind enough to remake it, which we appreciated, but the replacement came out after everyone else's food. It was also very hot inside, and the strong potpourri scent in the restroom was overwhelming enough to give me a headache. Overall, the staff handled the remake politely and there were some good parts to the meal, so we will probably give it another try. But based on this first visit, I'd call it average.

If you're looking for a good pizza in Leadville Colorado, you NEED to try this place out. This was…read moreeasily one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten, the crust was perfectly crisp (I think it's made in a brick oven but I'm not entirely sure) either way it was DELISH. The cheese was so good and had a great pull to it too. We also had buffalo wings, they were very good and quite a good size but I didn't get a picture of them before we dug in. The service was pretty good as well, you order up front and pay then you can take a seat inside or out at the patio, they give you a number and bring your food out to your table (pretty quickly I might add) I didn't see much of the inside since we sat in the patio area and it was very nice. There was a good variety of tables and how many chairs at each table, most tables were shaded but there were a few that weren't. I also seen a flyer saying they had live music on Thursdays so that might make it an even better experience if you enjoy live music. Overall this place far exceeded my expectations and was easily one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten 5/5 stars

The main reason was their credit card equipment crashed, several of us had to use the stores ATM (being charged a total of $6ish in fees) and get back in the slow line. The area behind the counter was pretty dirty, not messy, but dirty. While in line people watched flies land repeatedly on our food while it was being made. When someone made a comment to their friend, one of the employees (the one in charge) said, "flies are normal, just like in your own home." There is some truth to that; however, there was little effort to prevent the problem or wave them away. The biggest issue I had was that the employee who prepared my sandwich did not change his gloves enough. I watched as he repeatedly touched not sanitized or non-food prep equipment and went back to making sandwiches. When it was my turn, I asked him if he would please change his gloves; he did.

I was pleasantly surprised as the kids sat in the back of the SUV chomping away at subs and slurping through plastic straws. No complaints from them means no complaints from me. They even asked the next day if we were going to be driving back through Fairplay so we could stop in at Subway again. That added one star to what I would have offered. Still, I also took off one star off for the overall condition and cleanliness of the gas station - convenience store - Subway combo.
