The ranch tasted house-made and it was amazing. The chikin soho was the other standout. Honey ginger glaze, chili dijon slaw, and pickles that all work together. Misses: the brisket nachos needed fresh guac and actual brisket, since there was barely any. The 6 cheese mac was fine but not worth ordering again. Prices were right for what it is, a bistro concept. It's in Wayne, which surprised me since I didn't know spots like this existed out here. Wide enough menu that I'll be back. I tried to sign up for the Applebee's rewards, which offered a free appetizer, but the email came about 24 hours later - so if you'd like to try Applebees and join their rewards club, be sure to do so more than 24 hours before your visit! My kids got the cheeseburger (good - but boring IMO, I tried to convince them to get alfredo) and they liked the meal and sides. The yogurt with strawberries and broccoli were much better sides than just fries, although I allowed them to add fries. I LOVE the fiesta lime chicken, but let the waitress convince me to do the Sweet & Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich instead. It was pretty good - the chicken was super tender, but the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste and the slaw was a miss. I'll stick with riblets or fiesta lime chicken in the future. The kids added ice cream sundaes for ~$2 to their meals, which made them super happy, and the service was great. I will be back to this location, although I may wait for Tuesdays when kids' meals are $1.99 each. :)

I sat at the bar and ordered basic apps as my dinner, which included boneless wings (both buffalo and honey BBQ) as well as mozzarella sticks. I just wanted something safe that I was confident would be a sure thing, and thankfully I wasn't disappointed. Nothing really blew me away, but it was what I expected and the service was not bad either. This is not a knock on Applebee's, but the types of people who come here after 9 pm are very interesting to say the least.
