I recently visited Kickback Jack's with my sister, and overall, it was just okay. The service was pretty mediocre--nothing terrible, but definitely not memorable either. My sister mentioned that her drink was very weak, which was disappointing. For food, I ordered the boneless buffalo wings, and my sister had the bang bang shrimp and loaded fries. Everything was decent, but nothing really stood out or made us want to come back for more. It wasn't a bad experience, but it also wasn't anything to brag about. The place was packed, but family of 4 we were seated right away. We ordered appetizers and they were out unless that 12 minutes. We ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls! Definitely a must try! And bacon cheese fries and they give you a large portion all 4 of us ate on it with some left over! The other entrees were fantastic we would go and order agian but the pizza was the best with the cupped pepperoni. I will say the cups are huge! Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so without further explanation let's begin!. This was my first visit to this establishment but it was not my wife's first! (How dare she come here without me? HaHaHa, just kidding!. Our waitress was kind and courteous and most of all pretty familiar with the questions my wife and I asked her pertaining to the drink menu!. I had some questions about the beer menu and my wife asked if I could sample the beer options, she brought back 3 different kinds of beer that they brew themselves( if I understood correctly what the waitress was explaining to me).. I tried all 3 and I went with the second option that I sincerely apologize because I can't remember the name of it, if the name comes back to me I'll sure to edit the review and add the name!. My wife and I both ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and an order of sweet potato fries to share. The egg rolls come in an order of 3, the cut them half so you end up with 6 egg roll halves, and I will say they were delicious, not greasy and they come with a ranch dipping sauce. The sweet potato fries come with a sweet butter on the side. Our appetizers were both pleasing and we do plan to return!. Stopped by here around 8:30 pm on Wednesday night for some quick food and drinks. No wait time, though the inside was decent packed, surprisingly. The waiter was quick and attentive on putting in our drinks and appetizers/food to be made as soon as we sat down. Noticed that the menus for food and drinks looked different since my last time visiting, which was interesting. I started with their Honey barbecue boneless wings (10/10), they were cooked with a little crisp to the skin and the flavor was actually really good. Also had the Bacon cheese fries (7/10), I love when food comes out fresh and melty, but these came out as if they sat for a minute with the cheese already congealed and stuck to the paper. For drinks, I tried their Strawberry passion daiquirita and Life's a peach, both fell short on flavor (as far as what the menu stated what they were made compared to how they came out tasting) for me (5/10). Id say overall it was okay. Sat at the bar, came in at 254pm on a Monday. Ordered food at around 305. I ordered fish & chips off the early dine option, but I looked at bill and realized I was getting charged full price of $14. I asked the server who Brought the food and she said even though we ordered after 3 we sat down right before 3, so that's when our tab started and the computer wouldn't let them ring it up any other way. Okay, I would have thought the bar tender would have mentioned "oh you're gonna have to pay $4 extra for the same portions as the thing you're pointing at, because you sat down 3 minutes too early." I get computer systems can be fickle, I work on them, but maybe a heads up, or an "I can close your drink tab and ring you up if you want the food to give you the proper pricing or if you wanna order something else.." would have been nice but that didn't happen. Anyway food was okay, came out hot, quickly, and as ordered. Food: Cheese curds were good, fish and chips were meh. Overall, 3 / 5 Service: bar tender was nice but only came over once or twice, plus the details mentioned above: 2/5 Plenty of parking , clean building decent tap selections and prices on those. My lunch at Kickback Jacks was so yummy! My friend and I shared the garlic alioli burger which was huge! So we split it in half ! We enjoyed every juicy burger bite! Staff was excellent. We also split an order of fried pickles! They were the best I've ever had. I loved the dip that came with it . The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were tasty too. Place was clean and organized. We chose to go here to eat diner when the other place we wanted we walked of. We have been here before we just forgot. This is a chain restaurant which is not great. The staff here is great. They are nice and friendly and pay attention. The food is just ok, not great. We ordered the appetizer nachos. They are huge and messy but good. Not great. Good. We can make better at home. We ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich. This is not good. It is nether hot nor honey in flavor and the fries are limp and uneventful. We probably will not return to this establishment. read more

Service was fine/attentive when I walked in and sat at the bar, and while eating but when I was done with everything and sitting there with an empty drink, i was walked right past multiple times without being asked if I wanted to pay and I had to go find someone to cash me out. That was a little annoying, they were closing but he should've at least cashed me out while walking by instead of walking by and ignoring. I got the cajun shrimp pasta, the shrimp was really shrimp-y. It doesn't seem like it was very high quality. If you like seafood, call you'll know what I mean. The pasta noodles were okay. The sauce was okay. The broccoli was a bit strong and some pieces were massive, even still it seemed a bit bland. It couldve done with some salt. It was edible but definitely won't be having it again. My drink that I got, i tried the pineapple cherry sunrise, and it was very acidic. Alcoholic drinks with pineapple sometimes can be like that. And I asked for a different drink because of that. It was comped, which is standard. I appreciated that. However, the drink that I got after that, i tasted no alcohol in it whatsoever, and it was a trashcan. So there should be a few different alcohols/liquers In it. Even when made properly, you should still taste the alcohol. But I didn't taste a single drop. Trashcans are my go to drink so I know them very well and what they should and shouldn't taste like. Ive had bad and good, this was STRAIGHT redbull and blue curacao. I paid $13 for juice . After tasting that one, though, which I drank fully because it's not like it tasted bad. There was just no alcohol in it. Thinking back to the first drink that I tried that was supposed to also have alcohol in it, I don't remember tasting alcohol in that either. All I tasted was acid from the pineapple. There was also a weird aftertaste with my trash can, and I'm just sure that the glass was not fully dried after it was washed and sanitized because I don't know what that weird aftertaste would be otherwise. 0/10 read more

I never been to this place before now. What caught my eye is I seen a picture of grilled wings and that's something I wish more places would have. I got hot buffalo and it's not amazing but not bad. Restaurant we were planning on going to was closed and this was open next door, so we thought we'd give it a try. Lighting inside isn't great, but that's about the only downside. They have a gluten-friendly menu (server informed us that because of the shared fryers, they can't guarantee gluten-free). Huge plus in my book to have a separate menu so I don't have to guess. Servers were friendly and attentive. Great big glasses for our drinks so we didn't have to worry about running low. Food was excellent (we got the spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips, grilled wings, a ribeye, fries and house salad). Background music not too loud (another big plus for me, I hate atmospheres too loud to converse). Plenty of tvs to watch sports. Definitely will be back. read more

I've been to this location a few times. In my defense it's never my idea. This time I had the seasonal sweet potato fries as an appetizer. It comes with honey on it and a sweet butter. The fries had no crisp to them, also they were cold. We also got the cheesesteak egg rolls. They are okay. They are pretty bland when it comes to the flavor and the egg roll wrap lacks a crispy crust. The wings aren't bad I've only gotten the grilled. Last time we had a burger and a hot honey chicken sandwich. Know these two things were actually pretty good. The service is average no one seems to have any kind of camaraderie. We've had our server twice and both times we've been without napkins, plates etc. If I had to give it a grade as of now I'd would be a C. read more

I see a lot of folks go here and it probably for the tvs and bar because it cannot be the food. Came with a large group for teen bday. I ordered a Mountain Dew which tasted like more of sprite. Appetizer I had the fire cracker shrimp. Fried pickles and husband had boneless wings. Shrimp were ok, pickles were a no to me the batter wasn't good, and boneless wings were burnt underneath all the sauce. For entrees my daughter had the grilled wings and fries, I had ceasar salad with a piece of salmon and husband had flatbread carnivore pizza. All of it was edible none of it was good. Salad was as if they dumped a bag of old browning salad mix in plate and through dressing all over. Immediately during this meal I knew it wasn't a place I'd go back to eat. The worst manager ever!! Went to watch a football game and explained this before being seated. You guessed it was not seated near the TV with our game on .. So we went on a Saturday evening; now, those of you who have been following my reviews know I don't go to restaurants when they are busy, but I ended up here anyway cause I was hungry, tired, and wanted to watch the NBA playoffs. So there is a severed to seat you. The restaurant is vast, with TV monitors all around the room. There is a separate section for smokers, which I thought was cool cause what's a sports bar if you can smoke? There is table service, and we had an excellent server. The menu options are appetizers, bar food, and main dishes. Are you looking for something on the lighter side or vegan? You also have a few of those. There is a full bar and various beers (bottle or tap), wines, hard ciders, and Coke and Pepsi products--plenty of seating in the bar area. Then, there is the smoker's section; it is closed off to contain the smoke. There is also a full bar inside there. More places need to start doing this and stop discriminating against smokers. I don't smoke but will have a good cigar on occasion. Now, back to the food. I had a ribeye and ribs combo with some shrimp. That combo is available in many options, including chicken tenders, sirloin streaks, and shrimp. Speaking of shrimp, it was a big letdown. They served me some bland popcorn shrimp that looked like it came out of the freezer section at Food Lion. I guess the atmosphere and the availability of smokers did it for me (no, I don't smoke). My husband and I went in Sunday night to watch a NFL game and have dinner. The restaurant was blasting the speakers for one game at such a high volume that we had to raise our voices to hear each other across the table and I was concerned about it damaging my hearing! We asked the manager to please turn the volume down some but he refused, saying that corporate prohibits them from lowering the volume during football season. We had gone there numerous times last football season and it was never that loud. We walked out and went to another restaurant where the atmosphere was much better! I agree with the person who said it's kinda like if apple bees and BWW had a baby, so with that in mind, you can only expect so much lol typically bar places should do bar food really well - wings, appetizers, salads, burgers, wraps. The grilled chicken wings were super good. They were the right amount of juicy and a tiny bit crispy. It cost extra if you want more sauce. The salad was very filling and had a lot of toppings even being the smaller one. The egg roll appetizer was also very tasty! The sweet potato fries were also tasty and crispy. My mom liked her pasta a lot. The pastas and ribs seem a little pricey. For that price I recommend going to an actual rib place. The restaurant is very clean and the bathroom is very tidy. Great place to be if you're into sports, several TVs in all areas. There are booths, bar and high top seating. They have several specials our service was great and attentive. The service at disestablishment has truly been disappointing since it opened. I ordered firecracker shrimp, and a veggie berry salad the firecracker shrimp came out first the waitress in front of me and I had to wait seven minutes for them to bring me eating utensils. The veggie berry salad never came out and the young lady that was working at the bar and never came over to me to make sure I had received my complete order. She even had the audacity to print out the bill with the veggie berry salad on it. I had to inform her that the salad never came out and to take it off my Bill 22 minutes later she says the salad is out do I still want it and my answer was no. With all of this being said, I know that the service industry is suffering and people who work in the service industry does not take any pride in their job and what they do but it's sad. That management does not notice this that you can sit at the bar for 25 minutes , and receive less than adequate service as you can see in the receipts. I came here for lunch today, 3/3/25, I ordered a ribeye. The ribeye comes with a potato and a salad, I ordered broccoli instead of the potato. I got my salad and only had enough time to take the croutons off and someone walked up with my steak. I told her I just my salad and she said they could put under the heat and bring it when I am ready. I said I didn't want that and asked for the manager. The manager, Jalyiah Waller, came to the table, I informed her of the problem and she said they come as a combo and usually arrive at the same time but since the salad was ready first, they brought it. I said I did not want the together and asked to see the menu. I then told me that they were not taking it off the bill, I never asked for that. I said I did not want my steak sitting under a heater or sitting on the table. She want do you want me to do, I told her to have it remade when I was ready for that, she I am not going to do that. The manager was so rude and disrespectful that when she walked away, the next table over said they could not believe she acted like that. She brought me the card for the general manager but it just rang in the restaurant and he is not in today. She kept carrying on about it being a combo even though it does not say that on the menu. Without me asking she brought the bill without the steak but with the salad added. She basically said here is your bill, just pay it and go. The worse part was the manager assuming that I wanted it for free and saying such. If this is the way Kickback Jack operates their restaurant, I would recommend that you stay clear. read more
