We stopped in for weekday lunch-winter's day-very quiet in restaurant. Enjoyed our green curry with tofu. Attractive atmosphere. Efficient service. Only downside was temperature in restaurant was very cold which impacted enjoyment.

Overall the service and food was good. The ambiance was not too great. The tom yum soup was having too many mushrooms.

I enjoyed trying drunken noodles with pork.

This is a very nice Thai restaurant. We arrived on a Sunday night around 5:30pm and were quickly seated. We started with fried vegetable rolls that were one of the best we've had. We also got shrimp fried rice and pork drunken noodles. The shrimp was cooked perfectly but the pork was a little dry. But the flavor of both dishes was terrific. Our server was attentive and friendly. We'll be back!

Visiting for the day, wasn't sure what food looked good. The ratings for the area were not high for seafood but this Thai restaurant had solid reviews so we gave it a try. Service was quick and efficient. The young girl was serving 5 tables at once, very knowledgeable and friendly. Great personality and had great recommendations. The food blew away our expectations. We ordered the Pad Thai and a curry. The curry sauce was phenomenal with a spice level of 4. The pad Thai was solid, no complaints. We even had a custom chicken dish not on the menu that the chefs were able to make for us. We've tried Thai food all over the east and west coast. You will not be disappointed. Large portions even with high prices. The three meals were more than enough for 3 people.

The restaurant is a pretty good size that you can sit comfortably with a lot of Thai decor. Food is fantastic and has a lot of flavors. Service and friendly and prompt. Will definitely go back. One of your choice when traveling in Port Townsend every year.

What a fantastic find. Second time we came here, and I will say that I am excited to come back again... Service is sweet but a little slow... but the food is honestly pretty fantastic! See attached photos and I would recommend you come and enjoy Northern Thai cuisine.

Great little spot in Port Townsend to have an authentic Thai meal. Prices are good and service also. I've eaten here a number of times.

We had the chicken with mango and pad thai chicken tonight. Both were excellent. What also stood out was the friendly and prompt service.

If you want the best Chinese cuisine dining experience in Washington State, look no further than…read moreShanghai Chinese Restaurant in Port Townsend. I would gladly take two ferries to and from the other side of Puget Sound for this experience again! Chef Jason not only tailored our meal to our desires (If we wanted shrimp and chicken then why not?!) he was also our sever, making the experience feel personal. I felt more like a private guest at a five start restaurant than a patron. Then came the food...this was by far the best Chinese food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The Dungeness Crab and Cream Cheese Won Ton's were amazing! The Hot and Sour soup was rich and hearty in a way I have never experienced, making me wish it was snowing outside. Then the Seaweed and Traditional Eggflower soup, a combo chef Jason made up on the spot knocked our socks off with rich flavors that really knocked it out of the park. The Potstickers...oh my goodness the potstickers! These are made in house and are HUGE! Full of flavor, they are perfectly prepared, crispy bottoms and wonderfully steamed tops that have clearly the freshest ingredients inside. Complementing this are house made sauces for dipping if you choose. The hot mustard sauce was my favorite! The Mu Shu Shrimp is the best I've ever had and was wrapped tableside while we watched with house made Hoisin sauce load down first then the rest wrapped up perfectly. Every ingredient was wonderfully evident yet also part of the delicious whole. Last but definitely not least was the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Chicken. Shrimp is one of my favorites, but I had never tried Honey Walnut Chicken before and Chef Jason suggested why not have both. Why not indeed! And what a fantastic combination it was! I will never forget the words he said after talking our order, " This meal is going to be so fun to make!" and clearly he made each dish with love! I truly look forward to sampling more of his dishes and recommending Shanghai Chinese Restaurant to as many people as I can!

Whenever I'm feeling a bit sick I always get their Wor Wonton Soup. It's a chicken broth base, with perfectly cooked shrimp, added pork, added veg (broccoli, onions) and of course chicken and the pork wontons. It's awesome. The large portion is easily enough for three or four people. And it always makes me feel better. :)
