The Kidney Foundation of Canada is my choice of Charity as I have family member that is affected by kidney disease. They runs a Kidney Car Program which is so easy and efficient. All you need to fill out a form online with the information of your car. From my experience within 24 hours, I received a reply and even an appointment was made with Hollywood North Auto Parts for towing at my convenience. A big flat bed tow truck arrived on my driveway as promised and a tax receipt was issued within 6 weeks. Apparently most of the used car are used for parts. Hopefully, my car will able to help other cars to drive safely on the road with its parts and my donation can help in the fight of kidney disease. So if you have a really old car or boat that you want to get rid of, donation is a good option.

The shop owner Tony, is rude and impatient and Mohamed who helps him in the shop is a fraud. They did the worst fix possible to our truck which broke down and we had to tow it and when we asked for a refund both got loud (it was a $500 refund for the "hour" that they checked the truck and a button that we never needed to begin with). Bottom line, if you value your vehicle and demand respect and patience from your mechanic, you should never go to this guy. I have tested this car in every way possible, driving up back country logging roads in British Columbia and sharp partially cleared mountain passes in the Rockies, I once even managed to fit eight adults in said car for a Lake Louise-Banff return trip. I have done things in this car and to it that I cannot mention in a public domain, but have greatly enjoyed my relationship with this beast of a machine. I realize that I may have strayed from the inital goal of this review, but the affinity I share for my car must be stated first before I can delve into the impeccable service it has been afforded by one man. That man is Les. Finding an honest Mechanic is tantamount to finding an honest Lawyer, and when it happens it's like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow-and I have found this ever elusive pot in Les under the Truway rainbow. At Truway the service is frighteningly fast and reliable and I have never once even considered straying, as Les understands the subtleties and complexities of keeping a car that should be parts by now on the road. But in this case, the lack of attention or response to my concerns about the service, prompted me to write a review. I had brought my 20 year old BMW in for a warranty recall service and the car had no issues prior to this. The following afternoon I was messaged by my "advisor" ( a little research shows this to be a chatbot) that a technician had trouble starting the vehicle after completing a service. I was offered a $3000+ fix which I declined. When the vehicle was returned to me, after waiting for 40 minutes without explanation, the car had to be left with the engine running, as it would no longer start on its own. When I brought it to my usual mechanic he found a break in a critical connection between the battery, alternator, and charger and it was repaired for $800. There have been no problems since then. An email asking for an explanation from Toronto BMW went unanswered. Upfront you get a nice, hotel-like lobby but after the snappy initial attention, the communication and after service is poor. I would not recommend these people without first getting a second opinion.

Deceptive Billing, Incompetent Service, Zero Accountability…read more Brought my 2016 BMW 328d in for a DEF fluid issue. After keeping my car for days while misleading me about diagnostic progress, Downtown BMW handed me a $2,000 CAD bill--including $600 in unauthorized parts installed without consent and hidden diagnostic fees. The original problem was completely unfixed. When I brought it back, they ignored the SCR issue entirely and pushed an unrelated $8,000 repair. When I held them accountable, the service manager told me to "cut my losses and sell the car" and said I wasn't welcome back. I took the car to an independent specialist (RT Auto Mechanic), who diagnosed the SCR control unit and fixed the car immediately. The check engine light is gone. I escalated this to BMW Canada Corporate, and they refused to offer any resolution or hold the dealership accountable for the unauthorized billing. Formal complaint filed with Consumer Protection Ontario. Avoid this service department.
