Friendly staff and have especially appreciated working with the General Manager Bradley Wralinson. So many dealerships have a negative attitude. Not these guys! A couple of things I really appreciate about Ajax Mazda. One: A real person answers the phone when I call. I hate automated systems and every time I call I am greeted by a cheery receptionist who gets me routed directly to the person I need immediately. If they are not available I'm not left on hold forever. She comes right back, takes a message and I'm always called back right away. Two: Great website. Easy to navigate the inventory. Three: Again every single person I have dealt with from the receptionist to sales, to service has been a pleasant one. Winning combo from a dealership that really seems to care. Set up an appointment to see/buy a car. Messaged and confirmed that the car was there prior to leaving my house for a 1hr & 10min drive. Told them that myself and my son were both taking time off of work to come and see the car. 15 min prior to arriving got a message saying that someone was looking at the car That we had an appointment to see. i had stressed already that we were taking time off of work and it was over an hour drive. Chris the manager called me and said that the car was sold 2 min prior to us getting to the dealer. Wtf. This day cost us quite a bit of lost money not to mention 407 fees and gas. Yes I understand it is a first come first serve business but when you have clearly set up and communicated that your on your way than should they not have the common curtesy to honour that. This is my sons first car purchase and this did not go over well. terrible experience and would not recommend this dealer. read more

It is nice to see how a lot of people leave positive feedback about their customer service. I thought about this feedback for a long time before I wrote it out. If I can put no star to write this review, I would do it! I hope everyone can read my real case before they purchase their mazda from them, since purchasing a vehicle is your second major investment in life. Do not let this dealership screw your investment! Customer service was good, just because of luring you to purchase their stock(vehicle). Knowledge of the vehicle that they sold it to me is next to ZERO! Never disclose any information regards to the vehicle I was about to purchase. Vehicle records from the previous owner only show me once, after they know about how much i know about cars, then they never show me again! Before they deliver the car, they said all gear oil and engine oil has changed. Rear differential oil no need to change until the car reached 50K. But after I checked from other dealership, rear differential oil suppose to change in 48K service (which they didn't do, I bought my vehicle at 49K). Transmission oil didn't change at all (analysis from the oil deposit from a certified mechanic from other Mazda dealership). After I got the car, the car having an idling problem, then they realized that the coil was an aftermarket replaced from the previous owner and the coil bracket is missing. They worked out a solution by split the fixing cost with me by replacing a new coil for the vehicle. But the price they quoted to me is equally purchasing an new coil by myself, in exchange, if I agreed to fix the coil with them, then I actually purchase the coil myself. Also, didn't you guys inspect and certified the pre owned vehicle before you put it to the market again? Didn't you realize the vehicle have idling problem when your mechanic inspect it? Why do I wanted to buy a certified vehicle from a dealership instead of other. Because I wanted to be insured that the vehicle I buy, will be backed by the most creditable source I can get. But this place, creep me out the most! Covering, hiding, lying, that they do the most. I don't want to visit your dealership again! I will not recommend anyone to purchase and service with this dealership. Except of getting a rare vehicle from them, nothing they do can help you become a happier mazda owner. Oh, one last thing. I still didn't mention that the brake rotors on the vehicle was bended! Surely, it didn't mean it's not working, but you should know better when you certified your Pre owned vehicle before you sell it to the market again! read more

I had been car shopping for months and months on end , and then I met Engelo at Ajax Mazda here. Great guy, great customer service. He goes above and beyond for his clients, namely myself. Most agents would try and screw you just to make their commission and have 0 regard for you and your real wants and needs, but Engelo cares more about the satisfaction of his clients than he does the money factor. As long as he can find you a suitable car to better you and your life then that's all that matters to him. We went through a 3 month saga of trying to finance myself for the first time. Nowhere else would help me. Even credit rebuilding places wouldn't help me much and were trying to stick it to me with ridiculous 28% interests. I'm a 26 year old male that is only just trying to finally build his credit and since I've needed a car for quite some time I figured this was my best option. I just didn't realize it would become as difficult as it was. Then I met engelo, he patiently went through all of the vehicles that fit my lifestyle and my personal requests, and narrowed it down to one (this took me about 3 weeks just to make a decision). This all happened beginning of June 2017 and finally beginning of September 2017 we found a bank willing to finance myself for an appropriate rate of 15%. Still a little high technically , but in comparison to all the high 20%+ I was being offered everywhere else this was a Steal! Now I'm finally on the road again and I couldn't be happier! For all your new and used car needs I HIGHLY RECOMMEND paying a visit to Engelo over at Ajax Mazda, even if you live in Richmond Hill like myself or further. Hello All, I am writing this review because of the pre-service I got at this location. The service department in my own opinion needs to improve majorly. I tried booking an oil change and tire rotation and they could not fit me in for over a month if I wanted done on a Saturday and 16 days if I wanted it done after 4pm. The only reason we were using there service department was because of the sales team. Yes we bought our Mazda 3 from there and I would tell anyone to go there to buy a vehicle but find a place to get your service done. We got our first service there and that again was because of the sales team. I honestly get it that time of year when people are getting ready for winter. Ajax Mazda you have lost a customer and it will take a lot to get me to go out of my way for you to service my car. I will be letting every single person I know and don't know, know about this and how I was treated. One very unhappy customer read more

Service Center was great. I bought the car at another dealership, but they serviced me all the same. They service rep did a great job informing me of the status of my car and how much longer, etc. also were able to go above and beyond. Sales staff are fairly knowledgable, albeit a little pushy. I'd say Zoom zoom away from the service center and go elsewhere. We bought a Mazda in 2007 and had them do warranty work numerous times and recently other work. I should have learned from those poor experiences I had before to go elsewhere. Better luck to you. read more

I came to this Mazda dealership after two very disappointing experiences that had me frustrated and discouraged. I first went to Markham Mazda and expressed an interest in leasing a Mazda .3. The woman who met with me did not shake my hand, did not offer to sit down with me. I believe it was close to the end of her shift and she was impatient to go home. I inquired about the recent graduate program and she told me I "probably didn't qualify" but made no effort to be friendly or accommodating. I left feeling as though my business didn't matter, perhaps because I look younger. I then went to a Hyundai dealership to check out an Elantra. The sales rep was short and rushed showing me an Elantra. On a friend's recommendation, I took a trip out to Ajax. It was definitely worth the drive. The customer service I experienced there was exceptional. I did not feel pressured and my questions were met with patient and informative answers. Nathan, the lead finance manager there could not have been more professional, friendly and genuine. I don't know much about cars, and for someone making her first car lease/purchase, I greatly appreciated Nathan's respectful demeanor and knowledge of the industry. Not once did I feel as though my naivety was being "taken advantage of". Chris, the sales associate there, gave me a thorough run down of the car - unlike my experience at Hyundai. I left Ajax Mazda very happy and returned within 2 days to pick up my new Mazda 3, which I love. Within my first week I hear a rattling in the undercarriage. I took it back to be looked at and it was only a Rick that bounced up from the road and settled in a metal piece under the car. The service team was efficient, professional and speedy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ajax Mazda for many reasons, one of them due to the wonderful customer service. When we came to visit the dealership, we began with taking a look at the cars outside. We didn't expect any assistance, we were just browsing at the time, but someone came out of their desk to greet us and ask us if we need any help. When we visited other dealerships (i.e. Nissan, Toyota/Scion, Mazda) we had to literally pull someone out of their office to come to talk to us. We really appreciate the customer service at this dealership. It exceeded our expectations. On another note, the atmosphere in the dealership is very welcoming, energetic, and exciting. I highly recommend Duane who made my purchase very seamless, even when he wasn't there when I picked up my car (Sal, you are also wonderful). He also provided us a great deal and is very eager to help his customers even after purchasing the car. Nathan was the financial manager who also assisted with my purchase. He was a great guy, and looked out for my best interests while giving his honest opinions. I am so happy to have purchased my Mazda at this dealership.
