Seeing as this was a Wednesday and I'm employed my day was filled with meetings and I missed Ronin's call back. At 330pm (initial call at 9am) I called back expecting to have my window missing overnight, only to learn that they had taken the initiative and purchased the glass without my confirmation. I was then able to head to the shop where the service was completed. The service itself was top shelf with a high attention to detail and standard. The whole experience was a pleasure and the price, especially in the context of the accommodation and Ronin taking the risk of ordering the glass, was to put it lightly reasonable. I would recommend Ronin to anyone who is in need of their services and will certainly recommend to anyone who will listen.

I got an appointment the next day (I called yesterday). When I arrived, they inspected it and said it was the original chip that they repaired. With Sun and cold, the filling could fall out with windshield wipers. Yes I used the wipers 3 days prior! They said they will take 20 mins to refill it free of charge! They will cancel my insurance claim! This is great service! I bought the best wipers from them 5 months ago. A month ago they started making noise as the wipers moved upward. They said they would investigate it for me. It turns out the person who installed it removed a thin adapter so the wipers were loose. They put in an adapter and it is now quiet. No charge. They also have a coffee/tea/hit chocolate machine you can use while waiting.

I am, quite frankly, more than impressed. Two different cars, different issues and both jobs were completed to my utter delight. The first generated about $3K more for a trade after they performed miracles on concrete splashes that had dried and were embedded in the paintwork. The car was 14 years old and came back as good as new. The most recent, was a minor mishap with a concrete pillar. I took delivery of the vehicle yesterday and was floored to find that they had even detailed the interior of the car as well as making the 'mishap' as good as new. I own a Nissan Altima 2019 which had a recall for back camera. Before the recall was issued I had…read morecomplained to Nissan about this problem and they refused to address it. When the recall was issued I took the car to Nissan Morningside for the repairs. The problem was intermittent so when I took the car in, the camera was working and when I picked up the car the camera was also working. Drove for about 4 months and the problem reappeared. Took it to Nissan Morningside and they wanted $170 for a diagnostic saying that they did what the recall required. The recall was very explicit on what they were supposed to do. Tape the harness or replace the harness or both. I decided to investigate what they had done and they simply taped the harness and left the defective harness the same. It was obvious to me that there was a bad connection in the harness connection with the camera so I made sure the connection was good, put electric tape around to secure it in place and have not had a problem since. So much for dealer mechanics.

You'll be lied to, they'll be late and you won't get what is promised. And you'll receive calls from various numbers, different information, different email addresses... See below for my experience, and 'Kevin's' offer to remove the glass as a solution... My car was not the Honda Civic - 2010 Matrix XR. First off, I was quoted $370. I made it clear on the phone that I have a Toyota Matrix XR - which indeed has factory tinted windows, and I was reassured that that would be what I would get. That is not what I got, and by the time I noticed that it was not, it was too late, the window was installed. I would've sent the guys away had I noticed. Second, I called throughout the day after the initial order placement, a total of FOURTEEN TIMES, to try to confirm the window I was receiving, and to get further information about time of arrival and payment process. I left a message, I texted and did not receive a response - AT ALL. --And now that you need money you are communicating with me from all different angles, texts from different numbers, emails from different emails. I've received two messages saying that I should e-transfer money, except the email addresses provided do not match - this is dodgy. Regarding the actual work, I received one call from your guys saying they would be a half an hour - they were then 1.5 hours LATE. When I began to politely ask questions during that call - they hung up on me, and then didn't pick up their phone after I called back SEVEN TIMES. (I have call logs to prove all of the above.) And when they did arrive, I had to provide materials for them to do the job, an extension cord, which would be no big deal, but given everything... I still have glass in my car, when I was promised a clean up, and they left glass all over the driveway, which again I was promised would be taken care of. And now I've received an inaccurate invoice: On top of it all it turns out that insurance is not going to cover this because you are not a recognized - whatever that means - company, so this is now out of pocket for me. Besides the guys being friendly enough, I'm not sorry to say that this was exceptionally poor service, and a horrible experience, and I'm left with a window that doesn't match my car after a promise that it would. Not only did I have to deal with the violation of being vandalized at my own home, but I had to deal with all of the above. Next, I need the invoice to accurately reflect not only the right vehicle, but also one that takes into account the experience above. Now from Kevin: "Hi If you're not happy with the glass installer will come and remove the glass today When you called office is Closed." I made the order over the phone, how was it not picked up. I received texts from the same number I called. Anyway, good luck with your experience.
