I tried this cute little Mongolian place for lunch over the weekend. The restaurant is located, conveniently next to a few other restaurants of which we had planned to patronize one, but it was closed. Inside there is ample seating and I think we must've been the first customers of the day. The premise is pretty simple they hand you a metal bowl you go to a salad bar looking area and scoop proteins, vegetables, and sauces. You hand the ball to the Cook in a window and he will cook them up along with the grain you selected. I chose the udon noodles. I had some steak veggies, and I made 2 cups of sauce to go with my meal. It's hard to go wrong when you pick all of the ingredients yourself I was a little worried about the temperature of the meats because of how they were stored but everything turned out delicious and I didn't get sick. First time I went it was very good but after that time it was hit and miss on the seasonings.

This is one of my favorite places to go eat! The reason....you literally pick all the raw ingredients you like best (all kinds of meats, veggies, etc.) put them in a bowl, and then decide if you want it placed over rice (fried or steamed), noodles (angel hair, spaghetti or udon) or cabbage. At the end of the bar, you get to select from about 15 different sauces (soy, pepper oil, oyster, szechuan, etc) or combinations or sauces. At this point you send it through the window and they cook it for you and bring it out once it's prepared. It's such a great concept and really if you don't like what you ordered, then you can only blame yourself. :-) Definitely worth a visit! read more

Tried this place out on our drive from Indiana to Florida for Spring break as it was near our Air B&B. Great local spot where you can choose your own ingredients from a buffet line and the hibachi chefs then cook it up for you. I enjoyed the steak and shrimp with a variety of fresh veggies and udon noodles paired with a couple different sauces. My wife's Mongolian chicken with noodles was a little bland but still decent. If you go I recommend creating your own vs ordering from the menu so you can get it exactly to your liking. read more

Lunch time!! Came here for lunch with some colleagues. We were greeted by a cute little boy. It was our first time here so he had to explain what we had to do. You choose your base which would be noodles or rice then you take a little metal bowl and fill it up with veggies and meats. I chose to build my bowl up with some beef and vegetables. Towards the end you take 2 little metal cups and fill it with whatever sauces you want in your stir fry. We didn't know what sauces to put so we were experimenting. Once you get your little bowl filled up and sauce containers, you take it to the window and the guy behind the counter does his magic. I'm visiting and found this place on Yelp. Take out is different than normal but doesn't take long like other traditional restaurants. I chose my ingredients and gave it to the cook. Place usually looks closed or empty when I drive by so never gave it a chance before. Wow what a hidden gem! Food was fantastic. Ingredients were fresh with a large selection to choose from. Restaurant, kitchen, and family friendly restrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly. Food value was perfect, 8.99 for lunch and 11.99 for dinner. For those not familiar with Mongolian BBQ it is very similar to Hibachi. You pick your meats, fish, veggies, sauces, etc. You choose your starch. They stir fry your food fresh and bring it to you. We drove up to this restaurant and the first thing we thought was, is this an old home? The inside had tables and chairs but nothing that was too elaborate at all. The Mongolian grill was behind Plexiglas walls. So there was absolutely nothing overly impressive about this restaurant. Having said that, it was very clean and everything was organized and neat. The wait staff consisted of 2 people. Both were very polite, helpful, and attentive. We were very happy with the service. There was one cook, which looked like he knew what he was doing. Now to the food! They served us miso first, which was not bad but not great either. If there were any other doubts, they were laid to rest the moment we got our food. Anyone that has been to a Mongolian grill, knows that it's mostly based off what you put in your bowl, but we put a mix of seafood, beef and chicken plus veggies and all were cooked perfectly. They offer several meats, several seafood options, and vegetarian options as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sauces had helpful descriptions to help you choose what sauce you want. Dinner is $11.99 with a choice of soup or salad. The Miso soup was delicious and not salty. The meal overall was flavorful and didn't give me a headache (Genghis grill in Macon was way too salty). My wife and I sure have missed Ginger up in Macon for Mongolian BBQ and along comes Khan's. Great to see them in town. A great selection of meats and vegetables to build your bowl and it's served pretty fast. The miso soup was fairly bland so I salted it down and devoured it anyway. Two issues, the angel hair pasta doesn't work with Asian food. I'd suggest switching to lo mein noodles, the angel hair clumped up. The other is the price, expect to pay nighttime prices during weekend lunches, $10.99 per person. read more

If you are familiar with Genghi's Grill in Macon, this place is the same type concept. It's less fancy, but they didn't skimp on the food quality or selection. We went on a Sunday afternoon and they got a big rush shortly after we arrived. The staff was small, and they were running to keep up, but they stayed on top of it. Our drinks were refilled before they were empty and to-go boxes/cups were offered as we finished up. When you walk-in, you wait to be seated. The server will take your drink orders, and bring you a tray with a bowl, laminated menu & marker. You choose from a selection of rices, noodles or tortillas, and head to the buffet where you will fill your bowl with meats & veggies (go ahead & heap that bowl!) Then you select a sauce or 3, and seasoning, and send your tray through. They will cook up your bowl along with your side of noodles/rice. Once it's cooked, your server will bring it out. For me the hardest part is selecting the right combination of sauces. I think I nailed it this time with the Khan sauce and Mongolian sauce. I was sharing with a toddler so I skipped on the spice, but it was delicious. read more

I placed my order through Yelp/Grubhub and have the following complaints: 1. My food delivery was 35 mins late 2. My egg roll was cold and soggy 3. My fried rice was not prepared as ordered and was like warm missing the spice level and extra egg that requested. The dish lacked taste and they did not provide and soy sauce. 4. My pot stickers were luke warm and pan fried. I ordered them to be deep fried. I'm very dissatisfied with the restaurant and grub hub's service. We love Khan's- it's my husband's favorite place in Middle Georgia to eat. It's a hidden gem- doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is AMAZING. Great service, always smiling. This is a good mongolian grill. The bowl they give you is small, but that is deceiving. With that and the rice and soup, I got filled up. You have to be discriminating in what you choose since the bowl has limited space. The sauce combo I selected was the thick, dark chili slurry and the Szechuan sauce since I wanted it nice and warm. The meal did not disappoint. The meal was fried up just right. The steak was cooked and left juicy and the veggies were firm, but not under-cooked. The white rice was cooked just right. The staff was very helpful and made sure we didn't do the wrong think as I almost put my sauces in the dish rather than the small cups. OK 2 guys from NY and MA walk into a dive like restaurant. First both of us being from the north this restaurant is pretty cheap. I also think they grow some of their own spices in the back. I got a coke, soup and the meal with vermicelli noodles and it was under $15 for a Sunday night dinner. Sign at the desk also has a little note that says military discount 10% off. Great selection of meats, vegetables and seasoning including sauces. Make it spicy or make it sweat your choice. My friend dish was mostly vegetables and mine was over flowing with meat. If you never been to a Mongolian style restaurant the basics are: you pick your own meats, vegetables and sauces and the cooks cook it for you. This place also has your first choice of 1 free side, like white rice, udon noodles, vermicelli noodles, brown rice and so forth. Friendly staff, food is good, price is good how can you go wrong? Great establishment! So I was on a Middle Georgia day trip and realized I was hungry when we were approaching Warner Robins. I very much enjoy the Mongolian restaurant theme and so when I saw this pop up here on Yelp, I knew I couldn't turn it down! Now at first I wasn't too fond that they only allow one bowl but once I realized how big you can go I wasn't disappointed. They provide a wide array of various meats (including BACON), vegetables, a decent selection of saves and some spices. I couldn't stop piling up my bowl to meet my dietary desires. I prepared my dish and in very little time it was finished and served. The side salad with ginger was excellent! The Italian noodles were scrumptious. The service was grand. Yummmmmy. Please give this place a try, waaaaayyy better than Ghengis Grill in Macon!!! Fresh meats and seafood, lots of veges and sauces. The croutons in the salad were homemade and really yummy. They cooked the stir fry perfectly so you still have a little crunch to the veges, the meat was done and the egg was tender. I had mongolian sauce on mine and no dry spices and I loved it but they have a full array of dry spice too. The cheesecake I don't think was homemade but was of GOOD quality and quite tasty with chocolate sauce. The young couple next to us had edamame and fried wontons.
