Over the past few years it has drastically declined with ACCELERATION in prices. I stopped at the STIR KING about 2 months ago for the first time and have been PLEASANTLY SURPRISED with EVERYTHING., From GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY REASONABLE PRICES and THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD So, If you happen to be from the Ft Valley area and need your Chinese takeout fix. Sometimes you just crave the comfort of classic American Chinese food. The kind with generous portions, familiar flavors, and those little red and white boxes the food comes in. Stir King has traditional American Chinese favorites from huge crispy egg rolls to sweet and sour chicken, this spot has them all, prepared just the way you'd expect. Walking in, I was immediately reminded of the Chinese restaurants I grew up with. A quaint little hole in the wall, nothing fancy just a few tables with people waiting for their orders. We were greeted as we walked up to the counter by a friendly staff member. There were menus on the counter and pictures of dishes on the wall. My go to Chinese favorite is Shrimp with Broccoli extra spicy. If a restaurant can get that right they will have a long time customer. We ordered my favorite dish and my husband had the General Tso's chicken, both came with fried rice. We added a order of the vegetable spring rolls and shrimp rolls. We were in and out within 15 minutes or so after ordering and condiments are available on the side. The vegetable spring rolls were large and crispy, the taste was ok same with the spring rolls. My shrimp with broccoli included lots of shrimp and plenty of broccoli with a heavy brown sauce that had a weird aftertaste. The fried rice was good. My husband's dish he said had too much breading but the taste was ok. Overall it wasn't a bad experience. The portions are large, the prices are reasonable and the service was good. They offer a healthy menu with steamed food options without the unhealthy sauces which I will try the next time I order from here. read more

Typical oriental take away restaurant. Nothing special, just good, solid food at a decent price. Pretty steady flow of customers for take out while we waited for our order. The rice was nothing special and kind of hard and dry, you can pay a lot more for a lot less else where.. read more

Went here today for the first time and let me tell you what a disappointment it was. The teriyaki chicken was good chicken but cooked horribly. No oil and the sauce was way too sweet and definitely not made in store. All the meat was over cooked or reheated. It was extremely chewy and flavorless.The fried rice was more like dirty rice. Did not leave with the food and asked for a refund and got $15 back for a 2 meals that were not touched or ate. Some really good Chinese food right here. First thing I did was take a bite of the egg roll. And it's one the best egg rolls I have ever had. It was so nice and crisp with great flavor. Moist inside. The chicken was really good too! I had the sesame and my husband has the general Tso and we both loved it! Perfectly cooked and flavored. Nice and saucy too. My only complaint was the fried rice. It tasted almost like white rice, very bland. Barely any fixings in it like most fried rices have. read more

I have loved going to stir king ever since the day we first moved here. They are consistently delicious! Everything I've ever ordered is top quality. I love their eggrolls, they are nice and thick. Portions are nice sized. They are generally busy but still manage to have things ready timely. It's definitely more of a take out option in my opinion but you could eat there it's just super small inside. They are kind and work quickly. My bday is Christmas and I appreciate that they are opened then so I can usually have them for my bday dinner if I choose. Can't go wrong with lo mein, sweet and sour, beef and broccoli, and so much more that we've had over time, it's all been good! Never been unhappy with a meal that I've gotten from them. read more

This place is my go to place for Chinese food here in town. I have to say the best things on the menu are for sure the following: egg foo young, the lo mein, the fried rice, the chicken wings, the rib tips, the chicken dishes, the soups, and the appetizers are killer. Get the dinner or lunch specials and they for sure load them full. Even after bariatric surgery I can find things within my macro limits here. For sure get the hot and sour soup (medium spice). So good and loaded with veggies and tofu. Haven't had bad service from them yet. read more

The food tasted good. Sometimes, it's too oily. The price is reasonable, but they charge the hot oil too. I ordered about $50 and asked for two hot oil. They still charge $1 for the hot oil. read more

Let me start off by saying I am a Chinese food SNOB because I am from the north east where I was spoiled with amazingly delicious and flavorful Chinese food from nj and ny. That being said this is probably some of the best Chinese food I have had in years. The flavor is delicious. It is not overly salty and the quality is spot on. I am SO happy we tried you guys tonight and will be ordering for many more nights to come! Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. They always give us enough food for multiple meals, and it's delicious.

Food was good and hot, My only issue was with the dumpling(which were potstickers)... wanted actual dumplings. Service was fast with my 5-6 call in orders at lunch time. The restaurant is pick up and go which is cool. read more

One of the worst Chinese restaurants. The only good thing is, they deliver. Other than that... expect a box full of flavorless rice and boiled cabbage sitting in dirty sock water, if you order the shrimp lo mein. It says it's vegetables and meat.
