Been coming to this place for years in the last year or so it has gone downhill. I have been going back thinking possibly it was a bad night. I have gotten food poison twice in the last year along with my 12year child, but I put it all behind and kept giving it another shot. After yesterday I will not be returning EVER the food was stuck to the pans like it was left over from lunch, cold, absolutely GROSS had 2 bites of my food and into the garbage it went. If you want to waste $20.00 and have nothing edible anything then this is your place. The staff seemed cold the lady behind the register made you feel very unwelcome. BEWARE!!!! Oh my god avoid this place. Came in for dinner, the buffet. Food was lukewarm. Board of Health says it needs to be kept at a certain degree of heat and this wasn't it. Foodborne illness waiting to happen. Greasy, sub par. Then the woman wouldn't leave us alone and kept sweeping into a dust pan. Like go away people eating don't want to breathe in your dust. I've been here for both lunch and dinner a couple times and have always been very pleased with the selection and quality of the buffet. I must say that this is the least expensive Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Only $8.50 for dinner is a HUGE bargain!!! Everything always seems fresh and hot!! All the green vegetables are still green!! Always a plus; I hate it when the broccoli, beans etc, are some dull color, only reminiscent of the once green color they used to have. There was nothing happy about my visit to Happy China. The food was old, cold, and soggy or old, dry, and hard. That's if you're lucky enough to actually find food in the trays. The food was so bad that I, despite being extremely hungry, couldn't actually finish a single thing I placed on my plate. My family and I left the restaurant, paid, and then went off to look for food elsewhere. You shouldn't ever leave a buffet hungry! Money well spent on a lesson learned I suppose. This is probably the cheapest, most enjoyable chinese buffet you can get in this stinky little one horse town. The food isn't perfection, but it scratches your itch if you're in the mood for it, and unlike some places, you're not paying top dollar for sub par food. In fact, Angry China (as I've heard more than a few people call it), is where I go maybe once every month and a half on a lunch break from work or if I have people in town, you just want something cheap and good in buffet form. I have to stress the buffet aspect of this, because this town has a lot of Chinese buffets. And just about all of them are pure crap. The employees here are nice, if slightly incommunicative at times in that way that can only be attributed to a language barrier, and you're not going to pay more than $6 for your lunch. (Although, if you have a thing against buffets, I understand you completely. It's a dangerous thing, selecting food that's obviously been sitting around for a while and has every opportunity to be spit on, drooled on, or just generally have another person's bodily juices potentially available to leak into. I understand you completely. It's a gamble. Fortunately, the Angry China does have some of their staff kind of hover around the buffet bars just to keep an eye on the patronage and make sure they don't try to do something improper to the food.) Also, in my book of highlights, the decor on the interior is vague cruise ship dining room-ish. Very soothy, especially when you add in the lush, soothing harp muzak that's always floating into your ears. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Food is awful. You can tell all the food had been sitting out since they opened. Their air conditioner was broken and it was so hot inside. The food at the hibachi is suppose to be fresh. The raw meat was turning colors and was so sticky and hard. The crab was dry and stuck together. The whole back buffet of uncooked food was disgusting and the temperature control to keep it all cold was not at to the right temp. Some of their pre-cooked food was hard and you couldn't chew it. Me and my boyfriend visited this place today, we did the buffet and the food was absolutely disgusting. There was mold on the Crab Rangoon's. The avocado on the sushi was almost black. You could tell the food was sitting there all day, maybe even days. After we left my boyfriend threw up and my stomach felt queasy. Definitely do not recommend. 0 stars. Our delivery came within a reasonable time. That was about the only good thing I can say about our experience. The General Tso's chicken was sickeningly sweet. It was overwhelming and overpowering. The hot and sour soup had way too much cornstarch in it. I love hot and sour soup, but the texture and lack of flavor left much to be desired. The Hunan beef was ok. Again, the sweetness was overpowering, it was not spicy at all, and quite bland. The crab rangoon was actually pretty delicious. The beef fried rice was decent, but nothing that I would rave about. The food was also really oily. Overall, we were not impressed and won't be back. For $50 we could have gone to a decent restaurant elsewhere. My review is solely for their carryout service as I don't do buffets as a general rule of thumb. This is an awesome place to get some carryout chinese food in the WR area. The prices are fair, the portions ample, and the taste overall was really good. I had two types of fried rice, wings, rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken and shrimp stir fry. Everything but the chicken and shrimp was stellar. The only beef with the chicken and shrimp was the brown sauce was overly salty. Other than that this place really made my day. We have lived in Warner Robins for just about a year and have tried several Chinese restaurants and have up until this point been very disappointed. Until now. We have, at long last found our Chinese hotspot! The food was fresh and hot and did not taste like it was sitting on the buffet for hours. Our drinks were refilled promptly and the prices were reasonable. I could not find any white rice but got so full on the other items I did not ask about it. I used to come to this place often to get full lunch in after a busy morning. However, this place always leaves me feeling a gross afterwards. I think it has much to do with what they cook the food in. Low grade oils and everything cooked in the same woks. I can now tell there is a huge difference in the taste of food from here vs. other take out chinese places. They have a hibachi bar here, but again, food tastes bad cooked on a grill they never really clean. The service is good and folks are friendly. Price is on par with Chinese buffets, but not worth it for the food quality. Sadly, this is the only big chinese buffet on Russell. But I just can't bring myself to eat here anymore. read more

The wait time for my carry-out was pretty quick at about 10 minutes and while they were extremely busy. I entertained myself watching the man prepare the sushi. The rice and meat was both flavorful and fresh tasting, broccoli also fresh. The lunch also included a eggroll also full of flavor and the extra springrolls I ordered also were great. This review i based on their lunch buffet. I know that buffets will not always be the freshest food due to the set up. But ii thought the quality of the food left out was extremely poor. Nothing was fresh, hot or even warm. Besides that the flavor of the food just tasted off. I hope is was due to me going on a slow time of day but i doubt will give it another chance. read more

I'm sorry but this restaurant's food is an insult to China! The buffet has lots on it but it is all sloppily made and mass produced. The lo mein is spaghetti noodles. The chow mei fun tastes like cinnamon and is crunchy. The fried rice is straight up Spanish rice usually seen with Mexican food. Their chicken and broccoli was bland. Their pepper steak was alright. The hot and sour and wonton soups were watery. Don't even THINK about going for their sushi. It looks old and tastes like it's been sitting in a convenience store refrigerator! The staff is dismissive and lazy. They seem more concerned with chatting in their own section of the restaurant than keeping up on tables. Plus one of them had a very loudly shrieking child with them the whole time and I can see on others' faces I wasn't the only customer this annoyed. If I didn't have to pay for this, I wouldn't! We ate here on a whim after driving around trying to find a restaurant that was still open. This side of town is practically dead - we tried several other restaurants here and they were all closed permanently or closed early. Anyway, I'm glad we found this place. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can dine in or carry out. Carry out is probably the better option since you can get up to 3 lbs of food for the same price. Anyway, the server was friendly and quick, and though I normally avoid buffets, this one was clean and I saw employees refilling the stations frequently. The restaurant was practically empty even though we went for a late dinner on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is a little odd - very dimly lit and the decor looks like what you would see in a cruise ship. But, everything was clean so we were happy.
