Thanks to all the other Yelpers suggestions and tips I agree and have a few of my own: - Have to ask for the salt/pepper & sesame oil - Have to ask for Kimchi - Love Radish paper option but sorta missed the lettuce leaves so I asked for lettuce them too (they were very busy and sadly never got them) - Angus ribeye was REALLY good and they seasoned it which was a bonus!! Need to get them again! - You must try the Pork Jowl... I was shocked how good that was, I could have ordered that like 3x more! - Beef Belly was tasty (never had that before); it had a very strong beefy flavor and it wasn't off putting or negative just very beefish and wished they offered a spicy version but no worries just dipped it in the spicy sauce and it was perfect! - Sliced beef tongue very tender, perfect really, cooked fast and next time ordering that first! - There is an option to order à la carte vs the all you can eat which I am considering for next time; there were some great options on the à la carte menu that looked amazing! - if you enjoyed the Kimchi as much as I did they offer a take away option in two sizes. Being so close to the border there is definitely some non-traditional options (tortillas versus radish wraps or lettuce leaves for example) but totally understood and gives people who haven't tried KBBQ before a chance to try it and really enjoy! Been meaning to try this place since it opened. I finally went and I did not know what to expect. Did not expect anything I personally experienced on my first visit. Everything I did experience was extremely positive. First of all, reading the sign "All you can Eat" I believed it was a Buffet" and it is NOT. Which makes for an even better experience. Pretty much One price of $24.99 each person and less for children. Without getting into too much detail, you choose three meat entree's to begin with. Then here comes the Fun and Greatest part, the table you sit in has a place where you cook the seasoned/marinated meat entree's that are brought out to you. Talk about FRESH. If inexperienced, not to worry, your Waitress/server will help and give you tips. There are dippings given to myou before as well as a few tasty appetizers you can use to combine with your meats. Fish cakes, radish/carrot strings in vinegar, broccoli , and a few others that will be sure to give your food an extra flavor boost. The Soup appears to be like an Italian vegetable that uses Tofu. Incredible flavor with a slight kick on the spicy side. You have a two hour limit that is stated on the menu so eat slow and enjoy. Experiment the different choices and especially try things you might not otherwise. I was impressed with Octopus, of all things. Expected the chewiness, but maybe it was the flavors it got from the prior meats cooked on it, either way it was very good. My son tried beef tongue and finally realized why I like it so much. The way it is thinly sliced like a deli meat makes it more appealing than from other methods at other restaurants. So tender and so good. I know this place hasn't been open for too long, but they have to get their shit together lol. We had 4 different waiters so every 2 minutes they were stopping at our table asking us the same damn question. Two of them kept changing the temperature of the grill so that wasn't helping either. The bar was closed and they didn't even have a reason as to why it was closed. Besides the spicy chicken, the other meat didn't have much flavor. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place. This was my first time having Korean BBQ where you cook it at your own table. The place is very nice and well lit. It was a little confusing on how to order but our server explained it all to us. We got the lunch special. We got to pick three meats and three sides to begin with. It was fun cooking our own food and eating it piping hot. I was a little hesitant about this place at first but I am in love. Will definitely go back. Their meats are delicious but what stood out to me the most was their spicy ramen, it was delicious. It was my husband and I's first time trying this place. We were a little skeptical because we are so used to San Diego standards of kbbq but this place was awesome. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and spacious. They seemed to be low on staff but we didn't mind since it wasn't crazy busy. We have a lovely korean waitress assist us since we mentioned it was our first time and wanted to look over the menu to choose which tier of kbbq we wanted. We chose the standard and it tasted great. they let you chose 3 meats to start off and boy are the portions large. I highly recommend the beef belly,beef brisket, and tofu soup. I'm obsessed with this place it is a little on the pricy side but you can't beat how good their food is and also the ladies that work here are super nice and make me feel comfortable I come here about every two weeks and for me and my husband we get the vip menu and it's 32 I think per person and we get the sweet tea and our total comes to 79 dollars but worth it !!! read more

Have given this establishment many chances to correct their previous mistake but yet again they have proven how they have no idea how to conduct a business from a customer service standpoint. There was two waitresses and what I can assume was a busboy. It took 20 min with no one else in line for me to be seated, another 30 min to have anyone come up and offer a drink or acknowledge I was a customer. The busboy was the in sign of customer service in this place and I don't blame him for the lack of customer service since he was the only help. After 45 min of neglect I decided to walk to a waitress and ask for assistance but was promptly answered with " I'm busy I have many tables sorry". No attempt at remedying the situation in sight I asked to speak to the manager and no one came. Again the only help was the busboy. Tried the spicy pork bulgogi. It's almost like Korean food stir fried with a southern mexistyle. It was spicy and edible. The kimchi was a bit saltier than I thought and the cucumber, well... you can't really mess up banchan (Korean side dishes) too much. Overall my experience is a good experience. This is the only Korean place in El Centro and is as authentic as it gets. If you want Korea food, this is the only place. I will be back. I am a big fan of Korean BBQ so I was happy to discover one that's a 45min drive from home. Our server was very friendly and helpful, and she was able to answer our questions and even helped us cook our baby octopus. I would recommend cutting your bigger cuts of meat with the shears once it's cooked or close to being done so you have bite sized pieces for everyone. Some of the meats come seasoned, my favorite was the beef bulgogi. For those unseasoned, I'd recommend seasoning yourself (salt/pepper) and/or dipping in sauce. All of the meats we tried were very good (beef, chicken, and pork bulgogi, baby octopus, shrimp, pork jowl, beef belly, spicy chicken). Also the kimchi and banchan were all good. It is all you can eat, you get to choose up to 3 meats and 3 sides at a time. The steamed egg was very good too. Can't wait to come back again on our next visit to el centro! read more

I was very satisfied with this place. It's not your typical AYCE joint that you would find in K-Town in LA or Clairemont Mesa in SD, but it passes the test. I see people complaining about cooking your own food and the meat being flavorless. Well, it's Korean BBQ! You're suppose to cook your own food. And the meat being flavorless? There are different types of protein. The marinated kind like Bulgoggi and the unmarinated kind like the Brisket. Then you have the dipping sauces for your protein that give it flavor. I wish the banchan (side dishes) were more than just Kimchi, broccoli, and sprouts. Usually there are like 6-8 banchan dishes. I highly recommend the gyelan jjim (steamed egg) side dish. It's a traditional Korean dish that us, Westerners, aren't familiar with. I hope this place sticks around. Our Valley needs variety. Another tip for those who aren't familiar with Korean cuisine....Try the Soju! You won't be disappointed. You may not taste the alcohol, but by the end of the night you'll feel the alcohol! Do not come alone, they only serve 2 or more. If you come alone you can pay for 2 otherwise you will not be seated. I recommended that they charge extra if you come alone but that was not an option. I am so happy there is an all you can eat Korean BBQ place here. Going to Khan just reminds me of the awesome vacations I had in Seoul and Daejon, South Korea back in 2011 . I'm sorry but the people that say it's flavorless seriously need to travel more or just ask how things work. The reason why they check so much on you is because they understand it's a new concept here in the Imperial Valley and not everyone is willing to go out of their comfort zone and try something new. You don't want to go here! The interior of the facility is beautifully done, although the decor is not at all Korean. I would say modern American. They spent lots of money on the facility. It is divided into booths which look pretty much like booths everywhere, except that each table has a small grill in the middle of it. The idea is that they provide the ingredients and you cook your own food. The price is $18.95 per person (at lunch) and for this you are supposed to get three meats and three sides. I ordered beef brisket, pork steak and shrimp for my meat. One of the sides for each was steamed rice and I had an egg dish for my second side. I never figured out what my third side was. My wife also ordered beef brisket and shrimp. I don't remember what her third order was - she never got it. I never got my pork steak. We did get a platter of raw thin sliced beef brisket big enough to feed an army. The grill was very hot and we didn't have any oil to put on it so everything stuck. We each got three raw prawns for our shrimp order. They were good but it was hard to cook them properly. Our waiter was nice but he admitted that he had been there only two weeks. I wanted a Dos Equis but they didn't have it so I got a Miller Light for three bucks. I ate lots of over cooked brisket and got a tummy ache. What I should have done is gotten assertive and demanded that all of our questions be answered properly. A good waiter could have made all the difference in the world. read more

Yelp and other info states it closes at 11pm but when we arrived at 9:15pm we were told they were not serving anymore and could only take to-go orders for a la carte items.
