We had the chicken gangjeong half/half (hahaha flavor/ soy garlic). I have had a lot of korean fried chicken, and this ranks among the worst. The chicken didn't have the crisp you would expect from korean fried chicken. It was leaning towards the soggier side. What was even worse was that the soy garlic and the hahaha flavors did nothing for us. The flavors were bland and just straight up sweet. The soy garlic didn't have the punch of garlic or the umami and saltiness of the soy sauce. The hahaha flavor was simultaneously incomprehensible and unsatisfying. All in all, this place was a disappointment.

The wait was quicker than the time estimated that it'll be ready for pick up. I was excited to eat. Not very big of a place when I walk in. I seen that they had ube waffles and I definitely had to try it. I'm a huge fan of ube flavored items. I got myself the ube waffles with chicken along with some passion fruit green tea drink. The ube waffles was so delicious and the chicken tenders was cooked to perfection. It was very tender and juicy and compliments very well with the sauce that came with it. My only disappoint was the drink that I got. I wished it had a strong flavor of passion fruit and tea that I'm used too. So all in all, I will definitely be returning to try out their other items on the menu.

Up until now, I'd never had a fast food place advertise something as "hot" or "spicy" and actually…read moremean it. Dave's Hot Chicken apparently took that personally. I ordered the chicken sandwich combo with fries--mild, I think. Maybe medium. Whatever it was, it had more legitimate heat than the Burger King Jalapeño Whopper ever dreamed of having, and it made Taco Bell's Diablo sauce taste like something you'd give a toddler. It wasn't painful, just the kind of spice that politely reminds you who's in charge. The chicken was juicy, the breading stayed crispy, and the sandwich had just the right amount of everything. The fries deserve some credit too. Crispy on the outside, soft and pillowy inside--the way fries always promise to be but rarely are. When the box showed up, my first thought was, "That's it?" Five minutes later I was forcing down the last few bites because I refused to let perfectly good chicken go to waste. The portions are a lot more filling than they look. We had everything delivered through DoorDash, so I can't say much about the restaurant itself, but whoever packed the order deserves a shout-out. Everything was boxed neatly, looked like it had actually been assembled by someone who cared, and somehow arrived still steaming hot. If you had told me it had come straight from the kitchen to my table, I would've believed you. First time trying Dave's, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Now I just have to work up the courage--or stupidity--to order something hotter next time.

There have been too many times when I've received a poppers biscuit and it's more like a hockey puck that has raw flour in the middle. I didn't realize the biscuits actually resemble normal biscuits until eating one from this location last week. Either that, or they just over cooked them and it turned out great while all other Popeyes follow a recipe that undercooks them.

On the best day, it's disappointing and on the worst day it's dangerously inedible. Went in tonight for chicken, biscuits and mashed potatoes. Everything was terrible. The biscuits were hard as a brick. Inedible. The mashed potatoes were ice cold, hard, and tasted like cleaning solution. Inedible. And the chicken. How in God's name can you incinerate the crunchy crust to the point it disintegrates when you touch it, while the chicken on the inside is cold, squishy and undercooked. 16 pieces, three mashed potatoes, eight biscuits, $50, and it all went in the TRASH. Popeyes really needs to do something about this location because there is zero quality control. A Hungry Man fried chicken frozen dinner would have been a significant upgrade. This was the final straw. It's either the Everett location (they are excellent) or I don't eat Popeyes.

Mac and cheese was okay... it was creamy but not much flavor. Biscuit had a great texture, and not dry in the least. The only thing that happened is that they forgot my drink...
