He's 99 and in a be nice to everybody, let them grow old gracefully and... he can't drive and I have been taking him out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for a couple of years or so. This is close to his place and he loves KFC so we go most Tuesdays. The people are wonderful. The chicken is very inconsistent. Sometimes it's not overdone but more often it is. 75% of the time, the pieces are tiny. They are great most of the time but today they forgot the gravy. **1 Star -- Absolutely Terrible Customer Service** I stopped at this KFC because I remembered having a pot pie at another KFC a couple of weeks ago that was actually really good. I happened to be driving by this location, so I turned around and made the effort to come back specifically to get one. They were advertising a pot pie and Pepsi special for around $8. When I got to the window, I was told they were **out of pot pies** and that it would take about 15 minutes to make one. I then realized they were closing in about 18 minutes, so I said, "No worries, forget the pot pie." I simply asked if I could have the Pepsi as a courtesy since the item advertised in the special wasn't available. I wasn't demanding it, and I wasn't expecting anything. The response was a very firm **"No."** I said, "Really? That's not very good customer service." The employee then got her manager, Regina, who came to the window and gave me the exact same response: **No, I can't give you a Pepsi.** Let me be clear: I wasn't upset that they were out of pot pies. Things run out. I was disappointed by the complete lack of courtesy and the attitude I received. If someone came to my restaurant 18 minutes before closing specifically for an item we advertised and we were out of it, I'd have no problem offering them a fountain drink as a simple gesture of goodwill. Instead, I got attitude, the window was being closed on me while I was trying to explain my frustration, and the entire interaction felt completely unnecessary. Regina, this wasn't about a free Pepsi. It was about **how you treat customers**. A $2 drink could have turned an unfortunate situation into a positive experience. Instead, you made sure I'll never come back to this KFC. If I could give less than one star today, I would. Ordered Spicy Famous Bowl from KFC from DoorDash. All good, except opened and the it was inedible. They took their regular famous bowl, and basically poured 2 tablespoons of red grease on top of it. Wasn't like hot sauce, though a hint of such, it was just grease. Even my bags were soaked in red grease. I order KFC food all the time, and never have I seen anything like this. I got in the car, and drove down. With COVID, you can't walk in now, so i had to wait in drive through. Get to window, and she said there is nothing they can do, thats just the way they are. Hadn't been to KFC in a few years... their darn commercials had me wanting to try the little sandwiches... so I went a few weeks ago and really liked it as well as they seemed to have enhanced the macaroni and cheese as it was really good! Ordered turkey and many sides Mac &cheese, coleslaw, rolls, 2 orders of gravy, mashed potatoes all for $110.....Let me tell you it was amazing easily fed 8 people. If you dont want to spend hours in the kitchen, buy this and you will have so much free time on your hands before Thanksgiving. The food is basically the same that you can get at any KFC, so if you've had it at one place, you know what to expect. The service is pretty quick, with an average wait time of about 5 min. The side items I usually get are the mashed potatoes & gravy, the cole slaw, bbq beans, and sometimes the mac & cheese. The corn can taste pretty weird sometimes, as does the green beans. I prefer the original and grilled over the crispy chicken, I think they both have a better flavor to them. When getting the chicken, the part ratio varies. Sometimes you get more of one piece over the other, so your mileage may vary. I wouldn't go here expecting the worlds greatest food, but for something quick and not bad tasting, it's ok. read more
