Rolled tacos
George D.

Always stop here for my "rolled taco" fix and they never disappoint, not with just the food but the service the counter and everyone behind it gives to you. Such a pleasant group of people who work here. How may taco shops come to your table asking you "could I get you anything else? More salsa? More water? More napkins? And as soon as customers leave, one of the staff heads to the tables and gets it all cleaned up and ready for the next customer. All in all Raskals is a very cool local taco shop, I say if you haven't been here before...maybe you should. It's hard to find service with a genuine smile....and this place offers that.

My boyfriend and I stopped by Raskals Taco Shop because it was right on the way home, and it was new to the area. I ordered the protein bowl, while my boyfriend went for the Cali burrito. My protein bowl was great -- the carne was cooked well, fresh ingredients. My boyfriend thought the carne in his burrito could have used a bit more seasoning(salt), but he is incredibly picky with his burritos. It was a good size as well. The food came out quickly, and the restaurant itself was very clean, which I always appreciate. We also tried the churro -- absolutely delicious -- and the tamarind drink, which was refreshing and came with a free refill. The highlight of our visit was the employee working that day; he was incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond. Honestly, he deserves a raise! Overall, a solid experience and I'd definitely come back.

Carne asada fries

Surf & Turf Burrito Bowl

With so many taco shops around the area it's tough to choose one but don't pass up this spot thinking it's your standard taco shop. The owner, Gilbert, puts his passion of cooking into every dish and it's evident he not only does what he loves but you can taste it with every bite. I've tried a variety of menu items and my usual go-to are the Protein Bowls. There's a generous amount of meat and the medley of cheesy refried beans, pico de gallo, rice, guac and shredded lettuce is sooo delicious. I've tried all the meat options and they are all seasoned and cooked just right. I've also had a variety of the guilty pleasures like the Al Pastor Nachos, Bean and Cheese Burrito and the Quesabirria Tacos. All were so flavorful and enjoyable which made the food comas that came about afterwards well worth it. Also, the variety of salsa options is a big plus and complements the food nicely. Parking in the plaza is abundant and it's right off the freeway so convenience is a big bonus. Gilbert and his wife are very friendly and genuinely ask if the food is prepared to your liking. So next time youre in the area and have a craving for some mouthwatering mexican food, you know where to go :)

Raskals Trio breakfast burrito

Ordered the Raskals Trio Breakfast Burrito with no Cheese or butter because I'm deathly allergic and asked them to add pick de gallo. They added pico on the side and even included a sticker which was fun. The burrito was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Wowowowowow! Meat was packed in here. They didn't skimp out like most places do. The Arby's voice "WE HAVE THE MEATS" rang in my brain as I ate this delicious breakfast burrito. There was some French fires in there which was a lovely surprise. Might need to be my go-to spot for breakfast burritos from here on out and excited to try their other menu options because this burrito BLEW MY MIND!

I just move to the area and was craving a good burrito. Sadly I haven't found one UNTIL I walked into Raskals- not only do they have great staff, but the owner is a car enthusiast as well twice I have come in for the carne asada burrito and BEST by far!! 1st burrito where the meat is tender and seasoned! Ill keep coming back.

Mulitas Combo, Asada Plate

Food is delicious! We got the Mulitas Plate and the Asada plate (pictured) and both are very delicious. The meat was tender and the salsas were good. Service is also great, Gilbert is very attentive and the rest of his staff is friendly. Will return. A+++

Sausage Breakfast Burrito

Updating to add that the food is SO good. I got the sausage breakfast burrito and my partner got a Cali B. ________________ VERY friendly staff and clean interior! Excited to try the food and will update shortly. If you beat the high score of [I assume the owner] in Pac-Man you'll get free nachos.

Quesabirria Taco ! yummmm, meat was soft and tender yet flavorful and juicy.

When in town we stumbled upon this enjoyable taco shop that exceeded my expectations. Their food was delicious, fresh and tasty. But most importantly their establishment was clean and their staff was so friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed their carne tacos as well as their potato burrito! But we came here a couple times on our trip and we had to try a couple different items of course. Their fries were crispy and had the perfect touch of salt. The potato burrito was perfect for a morning pick up to get me started. I left this place happy and full. I will definitely be coming back for more !!! If you're thinking of trying it here is your sign to do so... but be warned it's addicting.

You should be convinced by now that this is the real deal. I beg you: please do not order a bean and cheese burrito here. The adobada burrito is wonderful. It is perfectly-sized and the meat is freshly-cooked, well-seasoned and delicious. I have no doubt every item on the menu tastes great, probably even the bean and cheese burrito. With your burrito, you get two small plastic cups for salsa and a baggie for carrots or peppers or whatever. It is 25 cents for each additional salsa cup, which seems a little steep. But whatever you do, make sure you get the chipotle salsa. It may be the best salsa in history. It is honestly that good. I drove 25 minutes getting there and another 25 minutes getting home in order to try this place out, and there is a taco shop a quarter mile from me that I happily passed. I would make this drive every time.

It was slow and not super pleasant. It didn't seem too busy anywhere in the place so I'm not sure what the delays were. Maybe the server was new, but she didn't seem too happy and forgot my drink. When she finally came back to check on us she asked if I would like to order a drink (umm, I just want to beer that I ordered ten minutes ago, please). I'd go again if others chose to meet up there... and just hope for the best.

This place is great!…read more Wife and I came out on a date night to this local spot we've been trying to come to for months. It was on a Friday night, the place was packed, and difficult to find a spot to park. The line to order was almost out the door, but still fast to get through, and we were quick to choose what we wanted before struggling to find a spot to sit and talk. After about 15 minutes, our order was ready and we got to enjoy our food. We started with the Carne Asada Nachos, Refried Beans on the side. The meat was flavorful, very tender, and plentiful atop a pile of crisp and fresh tortilla chips. The cheese was nice and salty and the sour cream was warm to the point where it drizzled over it all nicely. All in all, it was a very tasty start to the night. The only two issues I had with it were that the guac was a bit overly pureed, making it kind of runny. And the refried beans had a very sour flavor, making me think that they were over the edge of going spoiled. I had to thank my wife's aversion to eating beans, helping us avoid having them spooned on top, which would have ruined this course. I also had an Al Pastor Taco, Craft Coast Style. The whole it was crisped up well, the cheese forming a great crust on the inside of the taco. The meat was sweetly marinaded, flavorful and delicious. On top of it was a good amount of beans, onions, cilantro, and guacamole, making for a good sized taco without any overflowing. It was pretty damn tasty. So, our first trip out here had more highs than lows, resulting in a very positive initial dinner. I'm sure those beans were just a one-off, at least I hope they were. And there's still hope that the guac may have had too much lime or had been overly mixed this time around. A second trip is definitely in the cards, with more of the family to expand what comes to the table.
