Waited over half an hour in the drive thru only to get home and find my chicken was saturated with grease and when I took the chicken out of the bucket there was a nice big pool of grease at the bottom. Went back and showed them the bottom of the bucket and the manger was quite rude with me so I phoned head office and made a complaint and they have yet to respond and probably won't. I ordered food yesterday, i paid for it, the money came out of my account but i sat and waited 5 hours for food that never arrived. Due to me being at work i was not able to leave so i ordered from somewhere else, I went to the KFC on Douglas who told me the food was picked up and delivered, it was not, i showed the manager the app and how it doesnt show that it was delivered, she still didnt believe me, again i showed her the app, i asked for my food and a refund and was told it was either or, which to me isnt good customer service. I will NEVER EVER go to this establishment again, i will go elsewhere. The manager needs to be taught how to be a good representative for customer service. I ordered two 3 pieces of chicken w/fries and gravy, I paid by tapping my iPhone, they placed my order into a paper bag and I rode of on my scooter-upon arriving home, when I looked in the bag there was only one order three pieces of chicken fries and gravy! When I checked my phone I paid $10.71 so they only charged me for one order - which was OK because that's all they gave me. But I did ask for two orders! Needless to say I was not impressed, nor was my big sister-whom I was sharing with. I sent in a mobile app order on a hot and sunny July Saturday. The app mobile phone orders are supposed to be faster and not 40+ minutes late. I went to this KFC store and I found a situation of complete disorganized chaos inside and outside the store. The store was severely lacking in necessary staffing numbers for such a busy day. The drive through window vehicles were piling up in the parking lot, the food delivery drivers were piling up inside along with the walk in customers. I got annoyed and had to ask the overwhelmed staff to check my orders at least 3 times. There was no pattern of first in first out. The front counter staff lost all control, kitchen staff had no sense of urgency. The more experienced front counter staff had to go into the kitchen to make the food. I had to take control of the situation of this complete shit show and prod the shift manager to print off and complete my small order on 7/6/2024. I left one of my friends cooking inside my parked car in their overcrowded parking lot. The experience resembled a stock market trading floor when the global economy crash before a depression would hit everyone. You are better off going to the other KFC inside the Mayfair Shopping Centre across the street. read more

The past 3 take outs from KFC on Douglas have been abysmal. Somehow, they are have forgotten 10 out of the 11 herbs and spices. It was blasé with mostly legs, wings and a few indescribable cut up pieces. Prices have gotten more expensive and the sides have gotten smaller and flavourless. Im hoping people avoid this dump and go to some better chicken places: Chicken 649, Lees Chicken; heck, even Popeye's chicken is WAY better. When I mentioned this to management, they dismissed it and blamed the delivery service (even though it was hot when it arrived). ordered a 2 piece meal first the fries were not hot but they assured me they were freshly cooked? The thigh felt greasy so 20 napkins later the grease did not stop soaking the napkins. Tried to eat it chicken slimey no flavour except expired meat. I could not even finish it and started feeling sick to my stomache. No gloves on the person touching our food. She went from the dish pit to Touching meat, to dealing with plant based product all with no gloves or washing in between. Meanwhile, almost every employee had there mask below there nose or off completely. When they Pull there masks up, they use there gloved hands, and do not change them. So disappointing. Chicken pieces were bland, overcooked, and lacked the crispy crunch I remember from childhood. Both the macaroni and potatoes sides were flavourless and tasted mainly of mayonnaise. Not really a bad place, but it is in major need of some management. Some of the staff are really polite, others couldn't care less. The hours are bizarre - often I arrive and find notes on the door saying they couldn't get enough staff to open that day. And at least half the time when I go there they are out of something - usually white chicken parts. Better to go to the other franchises. read more

Recently under new management, apparently, but they still have trouble packing a simple order. BUYER BEWARE!!, open the packages to ensure you got what you ordered, before leaving the store or proceeding through the drive thru line, can't trust the order to be correct. I took out my hangriness on the delivery guy by not tipping but I'm sure it was a kitchen issue. I just went to KFC yesterday and got an eight piece with fries bucket. I then proceeded after eating just three pieces to have the worst bout of food poisoning I've ever experienced. I had nothing else to eat BUT this so it was definitely KFC and I felt very healthy before eating it. I have since heard another couple get food poisoning after going to this same restaurant. I have no idea if they have any sanitary standards..it was awful! beware. If I could not put ANY stars...I would've.
