Just as I was about to order (on a Thursday night about 8:50), when my wife told the low score this place has on yelp. So I just ordered two, 2-piece meals, original, on the app. I figured how bad can they mess that up? Well, fortunately not too bad. The drumsticks were fine but the wings were definitely on the crispy side. I'm thinking they probably sat under the heat lamp a (really) long time. But they tasted fine. The sides were fine too. I pre paid thru the app and when I walked in, I got the impression I was interrupting something. I wasn't greeted. So I announced that I ordered on the app and gave my name. A guy looked up, found my bag on the rack and handed it to me. When I got back to our hotel, I realized they didn't provide napkins! Didn't want to cook, so opted for KFC with a coupon. Service was terrible, waited 10-12 minutes before anyone would help at the front for walk-in customers. Then after ordering, another 10 minutes to pick up my order. It looked like their priority is drive thru and online orders, rather than live people waiting to order. Place is clean, but I took my order to go and after having their chicken (breast and wing, extra crispy), I don't think I would come back even with a coupon. every time I visit this location it is worse. Last night an applicant was there for an interview. she was not acknowledged nor was I or any customer after me. She left after 10 minutes and so did I. I went and ran some errands and when I came back people were all over the lobby. The same young overwhelmed girl was filling orders. I felt very sorry for her and again left. Ordered online for dine-in just as we were heading out the door. Order was on the counter waiting for us when we got there. They gave us wraps instead of little sandwiches. The food was tastier than expected given KFC's reputation for low quality these days. Prices were pretty good. Would have paid nearly double for similar Chik-Fil-A order. These days, there is something to be said for that. Nothing else I could criticize. A fair fast food chain isn't going to get more than 3-stars easily from me. So Disappointing! For a quick dinner I started for Subway and then decided for KFC. 6pm ... no crispy chicken choices. Once home the chicken was quite dark (overcooked I guess) ... The skin was torn and falling off ... the chicken quality was not the best (compared with Popeyes - but no Popeyes here though) The problem... Once disappointed... Not likely to return... At least for a long time. I am guessing this is a management issue. On the positive side, the gentleman who took my order and met me at the window was a pleasure to work with.
