We've had Mo' Bettahs elsewhere, so I was excited when they opened here in Twin. We went opening weekend and it has been a pretty good staple since. I don't go as frequently as I might have been in the past, but it's simply because I am more budget conscious for myself and trying to cut back on my fried foods and carbs (and my favorite dish here is the chicken katsu and the rice... ). The last time I visited there the service was excellent, the boys on the line were all friendly, worked well together, and seemed to all get along. The atmosphere and mood of the place was great. I remember I took a survey or something and casually mentioned a small mess, but that it didn't take away from the meal or experience at all and was cleaned up pretty quickly, and I got a text back from a live person asking for information and getting my details so they could comp me some cookies. I was out all day and didn't want to drive anywhere for dinner so I looked at door dash and have something delivered to the hotel. I came across this place and I wanted to try some Hawaiian food. This place was awesome. I got the three meat so I got the PŪLEHU CHICKEN, KĀLUA PIG, and the TERIYAKI CHICKEN with mixed vegetables and a Spam Musubi. Food was totally delicious, the Hawaiian drinks were good and it was packaged well. They are not in the Midwest but we do have a couple of Hawaiian places I will need to go to. read more

It was the only restaurant open in the area but we took it as a sign. It's a Hawaiian inspired restaurant and my hubby is from Hawaii. The customer service stood out more than anything! The manager was training someone and he was so patient while still ensuring efficiency and speed with all orders. Their portions are very big fyi. I ordered the chicken plate with Mac salad & rice. Food was decent and nostalgic of our time living in Hawaii. Ambience was very lively despite how late it was and they were close to closing info time also. Had a nice meal at Mo' Bettah's. We were passing through on the way to Boise and noticed this funky Hawaiian spot. The staff was very friendly and attentive, inside was nicely decorated with Hawaiian decor. The food was tasty, the only thing that prevented a five star review was that the chicken was a little dry. I came in close to the end of their shift. There was a miscommunication with what meats got cooked and I watched the on shift manager comp the 7 people in front of me and he almost got to do mine as well. I did not let them. I was just so glad they were open. I had just worked a really long day and almost had nowhere to go for food. I just wanted to put this review out there to stand up for the excellent character of the manager. First time coming here. We were on a road trip and Hawaiian food sounded better than a greasy burger and fries. It was easy to order since we looked at the menu online first. We ordered a three-meat lunch to share and two two-meat lunches for our teens. It was a lot of food and was very tasty. The girls scooped it fast and everything was already ready to go. We all ordered the teriyaki chicken, Pulehu chicken, and Katsu chicken. They all tasted good, but the grilled ones seemed a little dry. The katsu was just right. We all enjoyed the white rice, and the macaroni salad was very tasty, too. They had just the right amount of salt and spices. They use styrofoam plates for take-out which is not great for the environment, but it seems that a lot of places still do. The restaurant was nicely decorated and air-conditioned on this 100° day, but we had to sit outside on the patio because we had our little dogs with us. We were glad it was in the shade however, so that was worth it. This would be a great place to get quick teriyaki food to go, especially if a person doesn't want something greasy. read more

What a nice surprise! We were passing through Twin Falls, on our way to Vancouver, Washington. I'm from Hawaii, so I had high expectations. I wasn't disappointed. The chicken katsu and beef teriyaki were good. The katsu was crispy on the outside and the chicken was tender and juicy on the inside. The teri beef was good. I've had better, but it is Idaho. Not exactly the mecca of Hawaiian food. The kalua pork was too salty. The mac salad was too creamy for my taste. But it did taste good. The chantilly cake was better than expected! VERY moist. Onolicious! (Delicious!) Loved the Hawaiian Sun drinks. POG (Passion Orange Guava) is my fave! I really liked that there was brown rice. I do prefer white rice, but brown rice is better for me. Made me feel a little less guilty having the cake. HAH! LOVED the music. I totally miss hearing local music like Three Plus, Hoonua, and Ekolu. LOVED the decor. Island-style. This place has been mobbed so I was glad to try it without having to wait in line. I got the Regular, which is two meats (they have five from which to choose). The teriyaki steak was too well done for my taste, but I did like how they portioned it out with a scale since it does cost an extra dollar on the price. The chicken thighs was a generous portion, and I do like that they have brown rice along with the white. The mac salad was very creamy. Next time I will get the Katsu chicken and the Kahlua pork since I can get teriyaki chicken at the new Happy Teriyaki place that just opened in Twin. Found this place very close to the Tesla supercharger while on a long drive to Jackson Hole. Overall it was an ok experience, a nice bite on the go, but definitely it wouldn't be a first choice in other circumstances. You get in line and order your food and then go and find a table. I got the Kailua Pork and Teriyaki Chicken while my wife and daughter got the same pork and chicken katsu. The pork was super tender and juicy, pretty good actually!
