Wife and I visited this location. I tried the chicken sandwich and she had the 2 pc dinner shown in picture. The sandwich was just "ok". Thought I'd compare to others in the chicken sandwich trend: McD's, Zaxby's, Popeye's, BK, & Chick-Fil-A. Surprisingly, I rank this one #5. Personal opinion of course. My wife's 2pc appeared to be fit for a child's meal. The drumstick was the size of a small wing; the thigh equally small. The biscuit was large but hard/stale. Finally, she found a hair that was stuck to the chicken almost seemed it was cooked into the batter. We left with a full refund. It's KFC, how bad can they screw up? As with KFC, you never know. I hadn't had any KFC in a long time so I went through the drive thru. I ordered a 4 piece original recipe dinner and a 4 piece chicken tender dinner for my companion. We get to the window and they are out of breasts, legs, and the tenders have to cook. Really? It's 5:00 pm, it's dinner time and you are out of chicken? The original recipe box of thighs with a tiny wing that looks like it came from a quail were so greasy I could only eat one piece. The seasoning was off, the breading was greasy and the chicken was lukewarm. The tenders and fries weren't bad but it's tenders and fries. I would give a lower star if there was one. I got a $20 fill up meal the other day and it was awful. The chicken was half done. The biscuits were kinda doughy in the middle. The gravy was so thin and watered down it had no taste. The only thing edible was the potatoes. I definitely will not be back!! Also they need to have better attitudes. Out of all the KFC's, this one is okay. at some point, they have been known to run out of original recipe. And when name Kentucky Fried Chicken is what you call yourself, that kind of sounds unexcusable. I'm not a big original recipe guy so it doesn't bother me much. I usually get one of their chicken sandwiches. that's pretty hard to screw up. And they usually don't. They will occasionally mess up your side out of but that's okay. Drive thru is a joke. Tried to upcharge $6.00 for sauce. Watched the lady cross contaminate food wearing the same glove to touch her face, multiple orders and money. Lobby is still open during Covid19. I watched a customer order, served and eat in the building while we waited 15 mins for a single order. Total given at the speaker was different from total given at the window .... 2 things removed from original order ( which was the reason for price change) . Did not receive my full order . Also did not receive sauce. Did not go back into the line wrapped around the building to contest , did not want to go into lobby due to covid19. Will not eat here again. Would not recommend . Poorly trained employees, customer service is trash and business in non-compliant with government recommendations . read more

Ordered lunch drove back to work and discovered the ordered was messed up. Called for a refund and they required me to bring the food back with receipt. I did that after work. No apology from the manager. I also ended up with no lunch and spent 45 minutes of my time driving back to KFC read more

KFC in Soddy Daisy has started to be a little cleaner than it used to be. Still, sometimes, the floor and tables are dirty. I like to eat there because it is affordable. The reason that I only gave it two stars is because the food, on most occasions could be prepared better and the lemon for the tea could be stocked better. This has to be the WORST KFC I've ever eaten at. My Mom & I went thru the drive thru last evening about 5:30 or so. There was no one there in line. She ordered a 2 piece meal & I ordered the strips meal. None of the chicken was completely done. I had to finish cooking mine today. Her's was slimy & she couldn't eat it. None of it had any flavor at all & VERY greasy! The girl at the window didn't ask if we needed any sauces or anything & wasn't friendly at all. There were no napkins in the bag & only 1 fork. & NO, I didn't call the manager or anything because I have NO INTENTION of ever going back there. If this had been a 1 time issue, I wouldn't say anything, but the last couple of times I've been to this location in Soddy Daisy for LJSs or KFC, it's been HORRIBLE! I'll not go back! read more

Sometimes all of us have a craving for something that is not very good for you, but that is very tasty. For me, that would be Long John Silvers Seafood Shoppe. I know I shouldn't eat so much fried food. But even when I try to eat healthy, my fat little belly tells me it wants something that my doctor would not approve of. So every once in a while, I venture out to Long John Silvers. One thing I have learned about eating the food here, is it has to be hot. I always eat the fish first, because it still hot. The chicken, I could probably eat after it cooled a little bit. But not the fish. The shrimp is pretty good here too-if we are speaking in terms of unhealthy fast food fried shrimp. Definitely my standard for shrimp would be different if I was on The Emerald Coast in Florida. However, I am slumming it in Soddy Daisy tonight. It's rainy, and I don't want to drive far for dinner. The Mrs. is resting, it's my job to deliver on dinner. Long John Silver's-it is. Don't wait in the drive-through was longer than usual, but everyone was going out for dinner at the time. The food came out hot and fresh and the order was accurate. The girl on the speaker outside was friendly and help me make decisions about my order. The lady at the window was also nice, if not the same person.The cost of food is about average. I wouldn't pay a whole lot more than what they charge, and I also feel that the drinks should be included in the combo prices as it is very common in other restaurants.I do have to admit that I still find it very strange having two restaurants in one.
