I almost let myself blurt out a rude comeback, but politeness won so I just chuckled and said "Okay then" and drove away. My husband shouted something not as nice as we were pulling away but I'm pretty sure the guy had closed the window so I don't think he heard. Not sure how long the man has lived in South Dakota but if he isn't used to seeing muddy cars he at least needs to learn to keep his remarks to himself. I'm glad I didn't say something rude, because looking back I think he may have been on the spectrum or otherwise neurodivergent. Maybe he struggles with interpersonal interactions. Still, I hope management has a talk with him & lets him know it's not appropriate to give his opinions on customers' vehicles...one day he might end up saying something to the wrong person. As we were waiting we remarked on how clean and nice the whole place looked. We got our food, thanked them and left with what seemed to be a heavier than what we ordered bag. When we got to the hospital we realized he had doubled our whole order! What we had was not just delicious, but better than expected. We had our feast with our family and gave our extra food to the wonderful nurses that have been taking care of our family. It was all fresh delicious and very appreciated by everyone. They gave me nothing extra for my long wait and pitting up with their rudeness. i will not go back and have told friends about my experience. I also asked about the Thanksgiving turkey and to order one and they said they don't do turkeys and I was mistaken. I said I've ordered a turkey 2 of the last 3 years....
