We were traveling on vacation, and stopped for the night in Sioux Falls. We ordered from Boss and everyone was very happy with their food. The chicken was delicious and juicy. The pizza was kick ass. I also ordered deep fried chicken gizzards and they were tender and delicious. The delivery time was acceptable, it wasn't too long. I would definitely recommend the Boss for your meal. read more

Tool our order at 3:30 but didn't open till 4pm. We got our food at 5:09pm. And it was not very good. No apology or attempt at anything to ease our wait and/or misunderstanding. i don't enjoy leaving local businesses bad reviews but this was not good and bext time I'll order Dominos. read more

I had to go delivery. The driver called to apologize that it was taking so long. When he finally arrived, my food was ice cold, and even reheated it wasnt good. Just terrible pizza, really, undercooked crust and toppings. terrible service I did not realize their deliveries are all through door dash now. Will never order from there again. read more

I have eaten at Boss' before and it was good. However, I ordered an 8 PC family pack with potatoe wedges and coleslaw. I ordered a Pint of baked beans. The chicken came burnt, the coleslaw was nasty, and the beans were like Bush's beans from the can. I called the store to ask to the manager. He could only offer me a $25.00 credit at the store for another order. I spent $61.00 for the meal, delivery fee and tip. When asked about refunding my money he told me to speak to the people at door dash. Apparently they use the door dash platform but use their own delivery driver. He told me he would check his broasters and get back to me. He still hasn't gotten back to me. Needless to say, I will not eat here or get delivery from here again. The Keg or Pizza Ranch has my business for chicken from now on! Don't waste your time or money on this place! read more

Ordered Boss' tonight to change it up - especially with friends coming to town. I ordered 3 pizzas & cheese bread .. it was $82. Should have been my first red flag. When the pizza arrived, it looked like it was made hours ago. It was cold. Slightly hard. Not fresh at all! SO disappointed. Should have looked at their 2.5 star review prior. Lesson learned - will never order again. read more

Ordered a pizza for delivery at a hotel. I received no updates on the delivery. After an 45 min no update. Called and spoke to Kevin. Said driver was there. Any hour later I still don't have my pizza. Call again. Told driver will be there in two min. Ten minutes later call again. Tell them no driver. Told he should be there. Finally after two hours I have my pizza. No ordering from this place again. read more

I'm visiting from California. When I tell you this Chicken is "Da Bomb" that's what it is. I have never tasted chicken like this before. A couple times my order was wasn't correct. I spoke with the manager and my order was corrected quickly. I wish I could take Boss Chicken back to Cali. Thanks read more

Order 4 piece mix chicken which has always been breast, wing, thigh and leg and received 2 thighs and 2 legs. Spoke the manager (5/5/2023, 7:58pm) who stated to me mixed Chicken means whatever they have available. WTF? No more. Last order with this business. read more

Kate was so kind and brought us everything we needed quickly and made us feel very warm and welcome. Thank you for a great late bite!

I don't often rate places on the internet. I was very dissatisfied with my experience ordering and picking up food here as a first time customer. I placed my order over the phone for pickup. They called me back a few minutes later and told me they were out of garlic bread. I chose cheese sticks as a substitute. They told me my order would be ready when I arrived. When I arrived I stood at the front counter right across from what I assume was the owner or manager. He spent three or four minutes interacting with employees which involved dolling cash out to one of them. Another came from the back with a pan of food and showed it to him. Visions of Kitchen Nightmares started to enter my mind. After a few minutes, my presence was finally acknowledged by telling me they would be right with me. As such a waited about her couple minutes while he continued to interact with employees. Mind you the place didn't appear to be busy with customers at all. When he did finally turn his attention to me, he had difficulty identifying my two items that were sitting on the un-heated pickup shelf right behind him. He asked me if I had everything. I informed him that my order was missing the boneless wings -- they were sitting right beside where my cheese sticks were sitting. How he missed that, I have no idea. Then I informed him that the blue cheese and marinara sauces were missing. He pulled two cups of white sauce out of the fridge then set them down. I reiterated that one is supposed to be blue cheese while the other is marinara. He looked at the two white sauces then determined which one to give me. Then he pulled one marinara out of the fridge, looked at it, and threw it in the trash. He gave me the next one on the stack. I paid the $22 that they wanted for what equated to a medium cheese pizza and 10 boneless wings. I took the food home. When I bit into the first soggy and like warm boneless wing, I checked it for doneness and was so turned off I threw the rest away. The "cheese sticks" pizza was so poorly made that I could only tolerate eating half of it. Turns out the white sauce wasn't blue cheese but was ranch instead. I have no confidence in this place and likely will never ever try eating there again. read more

Gross pizza. Ordered large super pepperoni. Hardly any pepperoni very thin soggy crust. Cheese bread was not much better.

I am from Denver, but will frequently visit family in Sioux Falls. I absolutely love this locations pizza and they are always so courteous on the phone. I just ordered at 12:15AM on a Saturday and the pizza was at my door by 12:40AM piping hot. Anytime I hear someone visiting Sioux Falls, I always recommend this place. Best customer service from a pizza place I've had in years. read more

They send you an information grabbing app saying that the first order is 50 percent off then tell you it's not available and to never (Stephanie ) the manager to download the app . Tells me to just delete it wtf ! Extremely rude and an absolutely shady business and a manager who could not care less if you purchase dinner from them . After speaking with her I would give zero stars and actually feel kind of lucky that we did not receive the food . read more

Pizza was just okay and they brought it before a salad OR the appetizer. Who taught these people? No ambiance whatsoever and the staff didn't really seem like they have a crap. It was also overpriced. We won't be going back. read more

Great pizza, bread sticks were so yummy!! Called to place our order, staff was so nice and gave us approx time for delivery - it came pipping hot earlier than predicted!!! AWESOME!!! Terrible service. Long wait. Mgmt should be replaced. Nothing but a run around. Lies lies and more lies

The pizza is nothing great. The boasted chicken is very good. The service is not good. Only time will eat there is to get chicken to go

Just save your money and look elsewhere for dinner. Got in on a late flight. Ordered a salad that took over 1.5 hrs. The manager gave me half my money back. I guess they expect you to eat a salad with your fingers. No utensils or napkins in the bag....I threw it out and didn't eat. Checked was frozen cold on top of a sad...sad salad. read more

Im giving this review with the caviat that most of the score is related to service but in restaurants that is a big deal. We have had issues ordering from Boss' in the past. It's frustrating enough to have to repeat literally every detail of the order mutliple times, but then to recieve the wrong order or not recieve it in its entirety really makes one question any attempt to order from them. This is not the first time from Boss' (specifically the minnesota location) that we have had this frustrating experience. Normally, I would stop ordering from them and call it good, but to add insult to injury management was rude. Im pretty chill and accept mistakes happen, but at this point I feel my only due recourse is to leave this review and warn future patrons of this possibility as it's frustrating to say the least. Hopefully they take this review to heart and make changes to their ordering process, but being hung up on by the general manager when enquiring as to why the meal did not arrive in its entirety is enough to end any future purchases. 1 Star is way to much for this joint but it's the lowest choice. I hope your not hungry. Ordered a pizza on a Monday night and was told it would take 40-60 minutes to deliver a mile away. 1hr 20min later I called back and was told it will arrive at any time now. Well, 30 min Later I called back and was told that they are having a lot of problems and are making a lot of changes and are trying to work things out there. Then he said that they would remake it and send it with another driver a bit later. I IUST LAUGHED!!! Don't waste your time on this dive joint. read more

Terrible. Absolutely awful. I ordered a pizza to be delivered and was told it would be an hour, I tried calling them almost 2 hours later and kept getting sent straight to voicemail which wouldn't even let me leave a voicemail because the inbox was full. I finally got ahold of them and they said they were on their way... I then waited another 20 minutes and finally my pizza got here. It was cold and it wasn't even the type of pizza I ordered. I am beyond disappointed and I will never be ordering from them again. read more

We had Boss's cater our daughter's wedding. Right from the start they were helpful and reassuring. After many changes during the pandemic and stress due to the changes Boss's was a wonderful experience. Right from the start, they were professional, caring and on top of everything! They were so helpful with ordering and most of all wanted things to be done right! Anna and her team were great! The food was hot and delicious! Thank you Boss's for making the day a success! read more

I Ordered chicken, breadsticks, a pint side of beans, and a pint side of coleslaw. I waited for over an hour to get the order to find I was missing the pint of coleslaw. I called them back to get a full answering machine, tried again to get an actual person. She asked if I wanted it sent back out, and I said yes. I've been waiting so far for 40 minutes without having the driver back. Completely unacceptable service, will not order from them again and will not recommend any one else order from them either. read more

Cold pizza is not what I had in mind for dinner tonight. Yet, that's what I ended up with. The pizza crust is chewy/soggy and the cheese on the garlic cheese bread is cold. Boss pizza is going downhill. Although I prefer to order from a local pizza place, at least if I order from a national chain I know the pizza's going to be hot when it gets to my door. read more

Ordered fir home delivery from the online menu. The prices weren't the same as those listed on line. Ordered what I thought was a 3-piece chicken dinner with a side of cole slaw. What I got was a 2-piece chicken dinner (wing and a thigh) that ran almost 16 bucks. Gave a four dollar tip! When I called the store she said a three piece dinner and a side would've cost me $16 +!! Get it together. Your prices should match from online to in the store. If you're going to charge more at least get the order right. It was good chicken but not worth dealing with their menu and pricewould've been better off to drive to Kentucky fried chicken. read more

I ordered at 11pm it is now 1am and I am still currently waiting for my food. this is terrible service !

What can I say? Chicken was amazing, pizza flavors have been great (ordered 2 pizzas and got all half-and-halfs so tried 4 flavors, all very good), delivery was quick to the hotel, and they are open very, very late. The chicken tasted fried but was less greasy, great flavor and not terribly salty; tough to do with fried/roasted chicken. The pizza crust has an almost damp cracker texture. It sounds gross but it was very good and the texture complemented the toppings well. Parmesan chicken was very parmesan-y, the Star City was unique and the cream cheese was tasty with the pepperoni, the Bedda Chedda was very cheesy, and the garlic combo wasn't overly garlicy, just right. It won't disappoint. read more

Dirtiest place in Sioux Falls. Sat down at one table and it was covered in fried chicken crumbs, the floor looks as if it has never been buffed and no mop in the recent past. A shame because the tile can really look nice if it was a priority at least weekly. The employees looked as though they just woke up wearing yesterdays clothes and the kitchen area was a mess. Pizza was good but I was glad it was take-away. I'd like to see this business do well but they need new management or something. This is not acceptable. read more

Very courteous staff person taking my order over the phone. Told wait time was 45-60 minutes. No problem as it was Saturday night. Delivery arrived: Worst pizza I've ever eaten-and I was once, many years ago, a starving high school/college student who happily ate late-night delivery and store-bought frozen pizzas. Boss' pizza was cold, flavorless, chewy and obviously cooked hours before delivery. So disappointed. read more

I just ordered at 2:30 am (when they were open until 4am) to get a large meatza pizza. I got my pizza within 45 minutes and tastes amazing. The coworker and the boss I spoke to on the phone were really nice and very understanding when I mistook a different delivery as mine. It costs just the same as Dominos or Pizza Hut, but 10x as better due to the place being locally owned. Next time you decide to buy pizza, I really recommend Boss' Pizza and Chicken! read more
