Warm, casual, inviting, and filled with the kind of local neighborhood energy that makes you feel comfortable almost instantly. It had personality. Not manufactured "corporate chain pretending to be cozy" personality either. Real personality. Thankfully, the food completely lived up to the vibe. We ordered a large specialty pizza loaded with all the trimmings along with a smaller pepperoni pizza because my husband and I have fully embraced the philosophy that ordering "too much pizza" is not actually a real problem. It is simply future happiness. And because we apparently cannot order pizza without wings, we added a small wing order as well. The pizzas were absolutely fantastic. The crust had wonderful texture and flavor, the toppings were generous, the cheese was gloriously hot and melty, and everything arrived piping hot exactly the way pizza should. However, even with that bias, the wings here were still flavorful and enjoyable enough that we really did not mind very much once we started eating them. And honestly, the biggest compliment we can give this place is simple: We kept coming back.
