I have my favorite pepperoni, Italian sausage, extra cheese, extra mushroom and black olives and thin crust. Took one bite and went ballistic tasty spicy just fantastic. I'm a Godfather's fan, but this location was over-priced and under-staffed. The small (10") classic combo on original crust ($17.69) was enough for two because of all of the toppings and cheese. The mini (6") ham and pineapple pizza ($5.89) worked for my mom. They had a nice dining area with background music, a buffet bar and a soda dispenser, but the dining area and buffet bar were closed - most likely due to a staffing shortage. I only saw one employee, who was working hard to both man the counter and prepare pizzas on a somewhat busy day. This resulted in slow service at the counter. If I didn't love the pizza so much, I'd be going with two stars. read more

I don't understand why this place has such a low rating! I used to order from Pizza Hut, but it's not 1989 anymore, and Pizza Hut has decided to go with the option of serving nearly inedible, not-quite-poisonous slop. So then I switched to Domino's. Definitely better than Pizza Hut, but not good enough. Not even close, frankly. So then I tried Godfather's..and it is AMAZING! I will NEVER order pizza from any other establishment in Sioux Falls, as long as this place remains open. Really, really good pizza. We just ordered Godfather yesterday for delivery. The representative on the phone was super nice and helpful. We ordered two large pizzas on Original Crust. One was beef, extra sauce and extra cheese. The other pizza was the same except it was ham/canadian bacon. The godfathers delivery driver(not doordash) who delivered our order was also supper nice and was very helpful. Now the pizzas. Yes the pizzas. They were AWESOME! They arrived hot, suacy and cheesy. Godfathers pizza never fails to disappoint. The quality of the pizzas you get here are always just the way I remember from when I grew up and ate there nearly every Friday night! The service of course has changed, but Godfathers has never been about 'fast food.' They're about quality pizza and so if I have to wait while I'm there--I don't mind. I expect to wait. It's worth it. And---although every place is short staffed these days, I understand that they may be a bit stressed and hurried. The people I've seen working there have always been hard workers and do the best job they can. Can't ask for more. read more

Ordered a medium super combo, was told delivery would be 40min. After an hour, called to check status. Was then told delivery would be an hour and fifteen to an hour and half! Asked to speak to the management, was told she was on delivery and would return my call. Never happened. Called on Tuesday and again on Thursday and was told mgmt was busy and would return my call...again...never happened. So, to give the mgmt one last shot, called Saturday (exactly one week) to give final benefit. Manager on duty stated he had no authority to rectify? Anyway, stated that without fail the general mgmt would call 1st thing in the morning...guess what...never happened. The pizza on arrival was cold and dough was hard, needless to say, company left hungry to find a meal elsewhere. Apparently, the store structure here requires additional corporate level training for which I will be in contact with tomorrow. I ordered a large taco pizza online, it's the 4th of July so I felt like I'd leave a good tip for the delivery driver working hard on the holiday. I left a $20 tip. It took 30 minutes longer than expected to receive the pizza, which I get because it's a holiday and everyone is short handed these days. The driver that arrived was very rude, she rang the doorbell over and over until I opened the door, which only took about 10 seconds. I said " hey how's it going?" And she just handed me the receipt to sign. She said nothing then handed me the pizza. I said "have a good day" and she turned around and walked away and never said a word. I opened up my large taco pizza (which looks more like a medium to me) and it's half taco and half supreme or something. Wtf? I double check my order online and on the receipt and they both show large taco pizza. I was starving so I'm planning to just keep it but I call to let them know just in case someone else ordered this and is getting mine. The first time I called as soon as I said there was a problem they hung up on me. The second time the girl listened then said "oh boy let me get somebody" then put me on hold for 5 minutes. Nobody picked up so I hung up. All I know is I'll never be back. There is too much great pizza in Sioux Falls to deal with this incompetent nonsense. read more

Hands-down the best pizza in town! They pile on the toppings and it is always fantastic! The customer service is always top notch.

The pizza here is delicious, we had the Taco Pizza and a sausage pizza as well. Very very good! And we've had it many many times. The only disappointing thing was when we went to sit down more than half of the tables in the dinning room were dirty and there was NO ONE inside besides us and a family of 5 that walked in the same time we had. It was gross and I had to ask for someone to wipe them down. The other family grabbed some napkins and did it themselves. My suggestion: get take out or delivery. Don't dine in. read more

Hard review to make. I love their beef pizza. For my taste best in town, but they are terribly over priced. I deal with the price because of the flavor but last Friday's experience was inexcusable. I called in an order for my pizza for carry out and was told 30 minutes. When I got there the staff including the manager were rude and said my pizza wasn't ready yet; pull around and they would bring it out. So I parked out front with everyone else waiting on pizza. After waiting another 45 minutes in their parking lot (total of 75 minutes now) I went in to be told my pizza was sitting on the warmer! No apologies and more rude behavior. When I got home the pizza was cold and definitely not fresh. They lost a loyal customer and with the way they run things I can't recommend them to anyone. read more

The toco pizza is the only reason I go. The customer service is TERRIBLE. I was just in to pick up a pizza and a lady (I'm assuming some kind of manager) was blatantly making terrible comments to other staff about how the were doing their job incorrectly. She also said to one worker, "Now I have to tell a crabby, SICK cook in the back that we don't have the right pizza and he needs to remake it." This was at the FRONT COUNTER in front of multiple customers. I would think common sense would tell her not to proclaim that there was an ill cook BUT apparently not. Very unfortunate. read more

Stay Away! First, aside from no prices aside from the "Values", the chicken wings tasted like orange, and burnt.....caused my boyfriend to get violently sick almost before we got home. The canadian bacon tasted like soapy wax (from both the boyfriend AND my daughter) and the dough was wet. On top of this, the person at the register couldn't even quote the price difference between a half and a full order of wings. The salad bar was minimal and you could see where the bad parts had been cut out of the cucumbers - a few still had weird pinkish areas. The pizzas came out first and the wings took an additional 10 minutes. Serious disappointment. When I called and spoke with the manager, I was assured that the quality is checked daily, etc. So I suggested that she just might want to do a taste test. For any other patrons safety, she would want to make sure to be thorough. Not going back, period. For spending $50, this was an expensive mistake I will NOT make again. read more

Ordered a jumbo pizza for pickup. 40 minutes later I'm there to pick it up. Manager says they are out of jumbo crust and that they were supposed to call me but "forgot". manager offers 2 large instead and says it will be another 40 minutes. 40 minutes later I come back and another manager says he was supposed to call me but forgot and they are out of jumbo crust. I said I covered that 40 minutes ago with another manager and explained that I was supposed to get two large instead. Manager 2 goes back to talk to manager 1 for five minutes and comes back to say manager 1 "forgot" to tell the kitchen to make my 2 large pizzas. So 2 managers that can't complete simple tasks like making a phone call or telling the kitchen about a change in an order are running this place. No wonder it gets worse every time I go there. Wow is all I can say. I've seen the other GF locations in SF disappear over the last couple years. We live on far was side so it has been years now since we have had GF. Imagine my sticker shock surprise when a jumbo combo and a med one topping was $53 dollars. Are you kidding me? I love godfathers combo pizza but it almost twice the price of any other competitor in town there's plenty of opportunity to find a new favorite restaurant looks worn down the staff appear to be beaten down and the food was nothing to write home about. Godfathers corporate needs to reduce its franchising fees or the local ownership needs to reduce its profits and reinvest back into the business and bring the quality of the product up in the price down if it wants a chance of staying in business. Much improved! Like other reviews, we had horrible service in the past but, we decided to give Godfather's another chance today and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was good, ready on time and the customer service was great. Friendly and responsive employees - it was a completely different experience. I am very pleasantly surprised by Godfather's. I only had the pizza once or twice when I was a kid. Now, I and my family love it. The "golden" crust is fantastic, as are the other ingredients. The pizza is great. We got the buffet and you can ask for any pizza and they will put it out there. The terrible part is that it's super expensive for a buffet. We won't come back because of the price. Also, the buffet isn't manned well and you end up waiting for things for a long time. I called Godfathers and was put on hold for over 9 minutes. While on hold on my phone, I borrowed my bf's phone. I called Godfathers on his phone and my call was answered. I arrived on time to pick up my pizza. There were quite a few people waiting to get their pizzas up front by the cash register. The employee was not able to find my pizza or even my order, even though I was able to tell them and show them on my phone that I called them, and I knew my total. While waiting for them to try to find my order (about 15 minutes), 3 people that were waiting for their pizzas left without anything. I have never seen more of a disorganized restaurant ever. After about an hour of waiting, I called to check on the status of my order, and was assured it was on its way. Another half an hour later the "general manager" showed up to deliver the pizza, gave no receipt, and was extremely rude when we commented on how long the wait was. As a former regular customer I was really disappointed tonight when I tried to order. I was put on hold, after 15 minutes, I finally had a young man pick it up, I was told that he was putting me on hold again. I told him that I had already been on hold for 15 minutes, he said," we are really busy" and promptly put me on hold again, 5 minutes later, Nancy picked up my call and took my order. Ordered 2 pizzas and 1 cookie online for carryout. Showed up on time for pickup and nothing was ready. While waiting 7 pizzas came out of the oven for the buffet, my pizza finally showed up put no cookie. 20 mins later the cookie showed up very hot but the 2 pizzas were cold. We will not be going back, I don't think they even put the pizzas in the oven until I showed up and signed the receipt for payment. Hor ... ri ... ble service! We went here because it was around the corner from our hotel & because I've loved Godfather's taco pizza for years and cannot get it where we live. We arrived at 8:30pm. The place was empty other than a family leaving. We placed our order of a mini taco pizza and a small hot stuff pizza and looked for a place to sit. Almost all of the tables were dirty, but we found a half acceptable one and wiped it down with our napkins. Our order seemed to take a while. The cashier informed us that there had been a mistake on my mini taco pizza and they were making another one, but they could give us another pizza and breadsticks because they had "extra". What?! When my taco pizza came out, it looked big for a mini, but thought they maybe changed sizing. My husband's didn't come out at that time and they said it was coming. When my husband's arrived, it was a mini hot stuff. Mine was clearly a small. We then knew why they had "extra'. During our time, no one came to check on us including the manager. No apology, no thanks for coming when we were leaving. A complete waste of food as they offered us another mistake pizza to make up for the mistake on mine. A refund would have been more appreciated as we were staying in a hotel and we didn't need 2 pizzas for our overnight stay. Oh yeah, the pizza was nowhere near as good as I remember it being. My family (and I) went to their buffet and a lot went wrong. Right off the bat they tried to charge me $4.50 for a buffet for my baby. My BABY. So after lots of confusion a manager had to come out and void the check and recharge us. The salad bar was ridiculous. There was about an inch of lettuce floating in two inches of water. The cottage cheese container and a couple other containers were completely empty. The dressings were all spilled into each other. The strawberries were rotten. The buffet was nearly empty also. They had maybe three pizzas out at once at best. We had to wait until right before we left for them to finally put out breadsticks. They didn't have any plates at the buffet so we had to walk over to their salad bar to get tiny plates to use for pizza. They were out of forks as well, right next to the soda machine and counter covered in gunk. Almost every table was dirty. They never came to take our plates or anyone else's. And they weren't busy! On buffet night I expected more than 3 tables to be full, but that's all there was! I'm not happy. read more
