E was the most enthusiastic person I had ever met in a fast food establisment. His welcome seemed like that of a long lost friend. First off I couldn't get the attention of anybody I banged on the window beep my horn. Finally I got somebody's attention, unfortunately they didn't understand enough English and I don't speak Spanish so we couldn't communicate it took them quite a while to find somebody that spoke enough broken English to communicate. The Staff definitely never cared to serve what was ordered and to serve quality food that is eatable. The lack of standards that show and lack of service from this store shows the declining standards of ordering food from there, which is very disappointing. Definitely not a store that you wouldn't want to order food from eating one of the chicken. There was a hair in the breading of the chicken. Which didn't surprise me for a fast food place at one time that had a claim of chicken fried rat cooked and served it to a customer. This review it's for the excellent customer service I received on 5/27 around 11am. As soon as I walk inside, the lady greet me with warm welcome. I order the flavors box and add a side and a soda with her. When my food was ready on the counter, she also remind me to take caution because it's hot. Long story short, I never experienced this level of customer service in a fast food restaurant. I wish my review will reward her with her career path. My wife and I went here with our 7 year old. To start the restaurant was filthy and we had to ask for a towel to clean a table because they were all dirty. My daughter had to use the bathroom and when my wife took her she saw cockroaches crawling around and moldy food in there. Just went with my family through the drive through for an early dinner, the cashier was efficient and friendly and helped us order exactly what we wanted. We got to the window where we were greeter with a smile as he and the other awesome staff put our food together, and we got it and left easily and quickly. After pulling out my husband reached into the bag to grab his chicken and it was piping hot, all of our meals were. They were fresh and delicious. All the chicken was amazing, the biscuits were warm and fresh, the potato wedges were perfectly cooked. This place has really come a long way. I used to love the A&W in SR, but now that it's a Dim Sum place, I needed to get my Cheese Curd fix somewhere. I arrived Friday evening and it was really busy - but I was helped quickly, the staff was friendly and when I ordered a bunch of random stuff (a chili cheese coney, cheese curds, and a rootbeer float) the guy ran it thru a couple of different ways (and realized I saved about $2.15 ordering it as a meal - plus my drink was bigger) The food was hot and fresh, the grease for the cheese curds was awesome, and they didn't skimp on the toppings on my dog. As far as the food at KFC goes, I'm usually not super impressed but I keep coming back for that secret ingredient. I especially enjoy going to this one because the employee that usually takes my order, Lucas, is the best. He makes my experience a pleasant one and for that I look forward to coming back every time. The only reason I give this establishment 2 Stars is due to the fact A&W shares it's location. KFC's food has been terrible more than on one occasion. I will not be buying food from KFC (at this location) again. I will only purchase A&W menu items (polar swirl) from now on. Not only was the food horrible, but the girl taking my order had to have been brand new. I repeated my order & had her say it back 3-4 times & she still got it wrong. Way overpriced too.
