We decided to try their specials of the day: Chipotle chicken with avocado on sourdough Chicken parmesan on whole wheat roll I noticed that they were also offering a tri tip sandwich today. We'll give that a try next time. There are several tables inside. All were wiped down, chairs pushed in, and the ambiance was very comfortable. There was a constant flow of people either dining in or picking up their orders so this place is hopping! The gentleman who took our order delivered the sandwiches to us when they were ready. Sandwiches are large! They were heated through nicely. I took a bite of my husband's chipotle chicken and it was delicious with a nice little kick. I really loved my chicken parmesan sandwich too. Great combo of flavors and I could easily go on and on about their bread. I chose wheat and my husband had sourdough. Texture and taste were the best! I could only eat half so I wrapped my leftovers using the paper in my basket and sealed it with a toothpick. We waved good bye to everyone and thanked them for a nice lunch and headed to our car. As we were walking, a gentleman called us and brought us a bag for my leftovers! What an incredibly kind gesture. I can't remember the last time an employee went out of their way like that. I was told my order had not been started... it would be "about another 30 minutes"...that they were backed up "50" sandwiches... and that they tell everyone orders will take 30 to 45 minutes. Because they don't personally take the orders, you order on a slip of paper tossed into a basket, and there is no sign posted advising people of the wait time, the wait time advisement realistically does not exist. Given this level of business you would think more staff would be working but I saw one person making pizza and only two people towards the back making sandwiches. That said, at best, I heard four or five names called for finished sandwiches in over 35 minutes. Honestly, I felt this was beyond unreasonable and requested to cancel the order for a refund. By the time I received a refund, it was disappointing our outing adventure was a failure and I paid an extra $20 in rental fees to just stand around waiting for a sandwich that never came.
