The chicken was crisp, moist, and flavorful. The mac by itself was creamy and perfectly cooked. The hot seasoning actually had some heat to it with a slight sweetness. The bowl came with a cup of creamy sauce, which to me had a weird tangy flavor. I didn't end up using it. The portion was huge! I could've had some for lunch and the rest for dinner, but I ended up splitting it 3 ways with my two little ones. They thought it was spicy, but still ate it. She asked if it was just a screenshot, and I explained that it wasn't and that I could show her the live order in the app. Without much explanation, she walked away. When she returned, she told me that the person who placed the order had to physically be at the restaurant for it to "pop up." I had placed the order about 20 minutes earlier, so that didn't make sense. My husband then spoke with her and explained the same thing--that it was my order for a cheeseburger redeemed with my rewards points. What bothered me most was how I felt I was being treated. I may not have looked my best that evening, but I have never stolen anything, and I certainly wouldn't try to steal a free cheeseburger that I had legitimately redeemed with my own points. I left feeling embarrassed and judged instead of helped. I understand that technology can have issues, but customer service matters. A little patience, communication, and respect would have made this situation much easier.

Pizza is typically something that I don't order often because it is usually pretty expensive. The pizza was excellent and I would definitely definitely want this again however I removed a star because when I attempted to order through the pizza guy app when it came time to pay it said if using a card you needed to meet the driver at the door to sign and show the card. I was working and was not able to go to the door so that was not an option for me the only other thing was to pay cash which I don't have. I am not sure why they have to do it this way when every other place can take your card information and leave the food at the door. Other places also offer payment through PayPal or Venmo that's linked directly to your bank account so that's another option that would've been better because ordering through the app I could've used a coupon and saved quite a bit of money. This time I had to go through DoorDash so I had to pay higher price and a small pizza and one drink was over $30 which is way too much in my opinion. If they would give you other payment options through the app that would definitely help and I would be ordering more often. Sometimes having something delivered is not just for convenience but it's the only thing you can do so limiting the options on how you can pay or that you have to meet someone at the door can make a difference. Now for the food review... I loved everything about this pizza other than the price ha ha. Crust was very good there were plenty of toppings and they were well distributed. Even though I like everything on this pizza I was a little unsure about the combination because I've never had this type of pizza before. But it was so good and is definitely a favorite it was also delicious cold I had a piece that evening and that's always a good indicator as well. If a pizza is good both hot and cold that is a plus.
