The manager was on top of everything and personally brought our food out. My daughter said it felt like going to a family member's house where they just want to make sure you're fed--and honestly, that says it all.

When it comes to fast food, the importance of quality and service cannot be overstated. In my…read moreexperience, Raising Cane's stands as a beacon of excellence, rivaling only Chick-fil-A in its pursuit of customer satisfaction. Every visit I've made to Raising Cane's has reinforced my belief that this establishment prioritizes not just the food they serve but the entire dining experience. From the moment you step into Raising Cane's, you are greeted by an impeccably clean environment--an essential aspect that speaks volumes about management's commitment to quality. Cleanliness sets the stage for a positive eating experience, and it is evident that franchisees and store managers take immense pride in their locations. In contrast, many fast-food chains overlook these details, leading to a mediocre experience that fails to impress. Moreover, the employees at Raising Cane's exhibit such positive attitudes elevating the entire atmosphere. After all, a friendly face can turn a simple meal into a delightful outing. The cashiers treat every customer with warmth, ensuring that your order is processed swiftly and accurately, whether you're dining in or taking advantage of the drive-thru. It is this dedication to a pleasant customer experience that makes me eager to return time and again. As for the kitchen crew, their efficiency is noteworthy. With a steady flow of customers, one might expect delays, yet my meals have consistently arrived hot and fresh. Their attention to detail--like regularly maintaining equipment and keeping grease traps emptied--ensures that each bite is not only delectable but also safe. This level of commitment stands out against competitors like McDonald's, where inconsistencies diminish the dining experience. Menu: https://www.raisingcanes.com/menu/ The star of the show, of course, is the food itself. Those golden brown, juicy chicken strips cooked to perfection, paired with crispy fries and their signature house dipping sauce, are simply unmatched. Flavors within are well balanced, and it's clear that every item on the menu is prepared with care and the right amount of seasoning. Whether I'm enjoying a meal in-house or grabbing it on the go, I know I'm getting top-notch quality every time. Additionally, their soda fountain offers an impressive variety of flavorings, allowing me to customize my drink to my liking--a small but significant touch that enhances the overall experience. It's these thoughtful elements that make Raising Cane's not just a fast food stop, but a place I genuinely look forward to visiting. While the menu might be limited compared to some competitors, it is undeniably effective. Each item serves a purpose, and I find comfort in knowing what to expect when I order. However, I would gladly welcome a thoughtful expansion of their menu; after all, innovation is key to maintaining customer interest. Raising Cane's--and Chick-fil-A, by extension--truly epitomizes what fast food should represent: high quality, quick service, and a focus on customer satisfaction. My experiences have been nothing short of exceptional, and I will continue to support this location as long as their standards remain consistent & make dining enjoyable. If you seek an unforgettable fast food experience that combines taste, cleanliness, and remarkable service, look no further than Raising Cane's. You won't be disappointed! Soulful Flavor & Stellar Service…read more I ordered the steak and cheese egg rolls, collard greens, honey cornbread, and a Pineapple Mango drink--and every bite was a hit. The egg rolls were generously stuffed, perfectly crispy, and paired with a dipping sauce that was downright addictive. Meaty, cheesy, and satisfying. The collard greens were a standout. The pot liquor was rich and savory without being overwhelmed by vinegar, which is a rare and welcome surprise. As for the honey cornbread--finally, cornbread that tastes like cornbread! Not a slice of yellow cake in disguise, but a true, honey-kissed classic. The Pineapple Mango drink was light, refreshing, and just sweet enough. No syrupy aftertaste, just clean tropical flavor. Kay was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the space was spotless. Smooth R&B played in the background, setting the perfect laid-back vibe while I waited for my food. I'll absolutely be a repeat customer. The prices were on point and better than any fast-food restaurant.

I tried the BBQ Beef Ribs bundle - which came with a drink (I got a Diet Mountain Dew) as well as 2 sides (I chose the Mac n cheese and cornbread, although it already came with 1 piece of cornbread) and 4 Beef ribs, a salmon croquette, steak and cheese egg roll with some sauce, and a peach cobbler. The main entree (ribs) were quite disappointing. There was very little meat on them. The ribs were quite chewy and mostly fat, which is not something I enjoy. They were also quite thin and coated in a ton of very sweet BBQ sauce. So, not a win. The corn bread, though, was actually quite good. It had a sugary moist topping that was very pleasant. It was a bit dry on the inside and did crumble, but the overall flavor was decent. I do appreciate they give you one piece for free. The Mac n cheese was not good, unfortunately. There was very little cheese. Any of the cheese that was present came in clumps, which made for a strange texture and flavor. It was also very buttery and oily, which I'm not a huge fan of either. I would really recommend staying away from this dish unless you like oily macaroni without much cheese. Portion is large. The egg roll was quite tasty. When ordering online, I couldn't find a way to add a single roll to my order, so I had to write it in the description of another item. Thankfully, the person making the food saw this note! The roll is larger than your average Chinese takeout egg roll, and it's packed with delicious items. They have seafood, chicken, and other varieties, but I chose the steak and cheese. Its crispy and the sauce in there (maybe the steak juices?) was delicious. Would have liked a bit more cheese, but overall great. However, the sauce that was served with it was not that great. You do not get the option to choose your sauce. The one it was served with was very acidic and too spicy for my liking. Maybe someone who enjoys spice would have a different opinion. For dessert, the peach cobbler was flavorful. It was made with real peaches and was not overly sweet. I have not tried many peach cobblers, but I assumed they were supposed to have a crust? This did not have a crust, and it was a bit soupy. The 'dough' parts were soggy. My favorite part of the meal was the salmon croquette. I would honestly recommend just getting the bundle meal with these croquettes, because I was that impressed. Definitely homemade and delicious. The portion was bigger than I expected for $4. A bit spicy, crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside. Nice sauce. All in all, there were some parts of the meal that were a let down. Others, like the salmon croquette or the egg rolls, were great. It's a hit or miss type place. I'm still looking for a Southern place in Pittsburgh that blows me away.

Stopped in on this "soft opening" evening, seeing they were open. We ordered a number of things - cheese steak hoagie, shrimp and fries, onion rings and some grape leaves. It was hot and ready in 15 minutes. Took everything home (including some rice pudding the very friendly and personable owner threw in gratis) and we started chomping. Great food...my son said the hoagie was excellent, and the very large breaded shrimp were terrific, as were the fries and onion rings. Great chow! The one and only observation would be that the grape leaves seemed a bit too...soft inside? Overall though, Forest Hills has another winner in the borough! Try them! Thumbs up!
