I have very rarely ever ordered from here and received the correct order. Service is slow. The last time I went, I had a fairly big order (for a family of four...wanted enough for dinner and leftovers) which I had placed online and paid for before I went. I went to the drive-thru a half hour later to pick it up (ten minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready), and the worker claimed she had just received the order five minutes before I arrived. She then acted like it was a hassle when I told her I would wait out front until it was done. (She didn't want to cook the chicken? What??) That is part and parcel for this joint. I actually didn't mind waiting because at least I knew then that food would be fresh, but acting like I'm putting people out to expect them to provide what I've already paid for is unacceptable. The food is good. I love their cole slaw. The chicken certainly isn't as good as Popeyes, but if you get the Extra Crispy, it's almost like Popeyes. And please! Bring back the potato wedges! The fries are nasty in comparison. ETA: I think it's a systemic problem. I once complained to Corporate about this place, after having had a $62 order completely screwed up, and they mailed me a $5 gift certificate. WOW. :/ KFC does not care about its customers, and it shows. I actually tried Krispy Krunchy Chicken recently, and it was quite good! May make that my new go-to now that Popeyes has closed and KFC's service on this side of town is so lacking. Interestingly, the service at the KFC in North Utica is much better. They should close the New Hartford one down and open a Popeyes, though, for sure. read more

On today's date February 5, 2026 stop by after our doctors appointment and went to the drive-through. The employees were absolutely friendly amazing and the service was exceptional. There was a wait for fresh fries so I pulled up to the front. I walked inside instead of having the employees, I have to walk it out to me. Which they were more than willing to do. Glad I walked inside because I got to see how clean the establishment was. I was very impressed. I received my food. It was absolutely fresh and flavorful. I will be back. :) read more

9 of the last 10 times we have ordered from this KFC our order has been wrong, delayed , or nasty. I'm not sure why we bother. Tonight was no exception. Missing mashed and gravy. I rarely review fast food restaurants because visits are so variable and experiences can depend on things outside the control of staff. I worked for Wendy's (on the grill) while in college. I have empathy. But owners: spend some time with your business. A half hour wait is RIDICULOUS. Your staff should also greet people and say thank you. They should also acknowledge a long wait time. I don't blame the staff at this KFC- they need customer service training and support. Probably better pay. The food was fine It was hot and correct. There are at least two other fast food restaurants within walking distance of this one. Give me a reason to not go to one of them. read more

I really do not know what to say about this place that is even nice. I don't know why I bother coming but I guess I am a glutton for punishment. Rarely is my order right here but I guess I should be thankful that tonight they flat out told me they had no original recipe. Colonel Sanders would be so not pleased and no white meat. Last time they tried pawning a thigh off as a breast and gave me extra crispy vs original. And no they are not cooking anymore up. Went thru the drive thru at this location yesterday, order wings, was told they were out ordered Nashville tenders. Was told to pull forward. Got to the window and the girl said "What did you order again". I told her again Nashville tenders. (I was the only person in line) She never touched the screen, got my order and left. Got home and realized I never got a receipt. Pretty good chance she never rang it up and pocketed the money Jessica, thank you for your response, but I must say this location is horrible, I usually frequent this store once or twice a month. There is not a single time that they are not out of one thing or another. The front counter is usually dirty and the tables in the dining area are usually dirty without fail. Today the fried chicken was over fried. Fried in dirty oil or too high a heat. Ordered original and got a darker than usual crispy chicken. Tasted burned. Green beans were also off tasting today. Rushed. The staff in the back had to be told to cook the chicken as they were on their phones texting. Not a good experience. Not sure we will go back. Probably not. People did not have a work ethic. I enjoy a good chicken sandwich, and KFC can deliver that. Sometimes. The quality of the food at this location can vary wildly. Sometimes it's incredible and juicy, sometimes it's dry and makes me feel like I've wasted my money. The staff also seem to be really inconsiderate when taking coupons. They're losing money, so I understand, but if I donated a dollar for them a month ago, I at least hope that people will take them without any fuss. The store itself is also rather dirty. It's not uncommon to see people working without gloves, with shirts dusted with flour. I like to go through the drive through particularly because seeing the people in the process here makes it a little less appetizing. read more

Should have checked the reviews before going there. Same complaint as everyone else. Ordered 3 piece meal, got 2 pieces & no Pepsi. I have the receipt & it shows "3 piece combo." I tried to call but there was no answer after at least 10 rings. Customer beware! I know it's been a tough time for restaurants due to covid but prices have skyrocketed & service went down. Wish it was possible to give no stars to this place. We went at 6:00 PM on Saturday August 4th, the person who was working the drive thru was very rude. Had an attitude about everything we had to say and the attitude continued to when we picked up our food at the window. Food was carelessly thrown in the bag and shoved out the windows. MY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL IF YOU DECIDE TO WORK THERE I decided to swing by to this KFC real quick before going to see a movie, but holy crap what an experience it was. One dude at the counter was flipping out that he didn't receive his biscuits and he has been waiting 25 minutes for his order, while I watch the employees in the back argue with each other, screaming at each other WERE OUT OF FOOD STOP TAKING ORDERS. It took me about 20 minutes to just get a large mac and cheese. I don't know nor do I have any kind of experience in fast food but it seemed extremely disorganized and not prepared at all for late night rushes, it was an hour before closing and they were already announcing they were out of food? I didn't know you could do that in a fast food industry? I felt bad for the employees, I really do, and I really do like KFC's food but sadly when it's that expensive and the long wait time, I probably won't be going back there. read more

How is it that the health department has not shut this place down. This by far the most disgusting restaurant with in a 100 miles. Both the bathrooms and the dining room are in need of maintenance and cleaning.But if you want KFC it's the only one around. You can try the drive thru, but half the time they are out of every thing. The other night they even ran out of sporks. This restaurant has been like this for a long time and nothing is done about by either KFC or the Health Department what a shame. read more

How can you operate a buisness when you have no product to sell? Two nights in a row you are almost out of everything. No biscuits, no chicken tenders, no chicken breasts, and almost no soda products. I'm sure there is more than that but that's just what we asked for. So my issue was actually not the food. I mean it is KFC but the food tasted good, was hot and seemed fresh. There were two horrible issues, the service and the cleanliness. It honestly was the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in. Nothing looked like it was cleaned or mopped ever. Also, not one employee had gloves on. Secondly, it took 20+ minutes to get the food. I went to Kentucky Fried Chicken Sunday night bought a 16 piece bucket with sides, It was the worst Bucket of CHICKEN I every bought anywhere. Awesome!! We got the food we wanted, but we had to wait some time for one of the orders, so not only did they give us two pepsis' on the house, but 2 cookies with that! OK so went in the other day and this tall girl with black hair her name is heather and that's what they kept calling her she was so rude she used foul language she rolled her eyes a lot she was texting on her phone and kept calling the drive-thru customers F-ing idiots kind of makes me think what would she say about me when I walk away then a guy with long hair came in and I am assuming is her boyfriend because they kissed they hugged and they swapped shirts work shirts I saw his had on her bottom like really sexually rubbing then he walked in and stated touching the food and now I decided to give this place another chance as I show up today thought I'd grab something early I see the tall girl is in there again but now her hair isn't black it's blonde I think she is very poor mannered and has foul language and doing nasty stuff with her boyfriend at work and I'm sorry but boyfriend and girlfriend shouldn't be hello to work together or even at the same store if they're going to act like that and the swapping shirts I think it's even more bad hygiene listen please like those two working there it makes me lose faith in fast food restaurants like this I was completely disgusted the first time and seeing her aging today I give up I will try my luck with McDonald's I don't want to give this any stars but it makes me add one read more
