Now these are real chicken wings. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned all the way through--not just sauced up to hide blandness. You can taste the difference with every bite. I don't make it back to NY often but when I do I always stop in here. read more

Killabrew Saloon - Everything 10 Wings - Bars Near Me - New Hartford, New York

Stopped in for a nightcap while on business nd found out their kitchen was open until midnight (came in around 9). Typical Irish pub/sports type bar (my favorite), simple decor, some regulars at the bar, a couple families sitting at tables. I decided on the Irish pierogies. They were good, but I thought there would be more corned beef in them. They came with onions and Irish sausage which was a nice touch. Great selection of whiskeys and bourbons! Mike was the bartender and he was attentive and friendly. Will come back before I head home for sure :) read more

The chicken wings were disappointing. By the time I got home, the whole bag was wet and greasy. I also found a lot of feathers on one of the wings. Really poor quality. read more

The fish fry we got tonight was definitely re-heated, not fresh. Skin and breading was very dry and hard. Not a good experience.

We stopped in on a Tuesday evening. The bar was packed for Trivia night. At first we were seated in a booth in the back. Our server dropped off menus and the beer list, then didn't come back. After about 20 minutes we went to sit outside on the patio. It took about 15 minutes for her to come out and take our drink and food order. We waited another 30 minutes and then she came out and told us they were out of one of the dinners we ordered. Needless to say, the service was not great. As for the food itself, it also was not great. The corned beef was okay, but the potatoes had a funky taste and the cabbage and carrots were mushy. The French fries were under cooked and tasteless. read more

Ordered 5 orders of wings, extra crispy and wet. The wings weren't extra crispy and only 3 orders were wet. They asked if we wanted celery and blue cheese and on the bill we had a charge for $20 for it and $10 extra for wet wings. read more

I already did a review from last nights meal. I ordered the Shepherd's pie. I didn't want to judge to fast by looks, but it looked like it fell on the floor, then they picked it up and tossed it into the tin. The food had zero taste, it also tasted like it came out of a can and the mashed potatoes had no flavor. I was only able to take two bites and spit it out. I posted a review last night with a picture, but now it's missing. It's okay I will be posting the picture of it later. I am unable to post it now. They should be embarrassed that they charged me $20.00 for it. read more

Am from Mass, stopped to stay night halfway from Toronto to Mass. Hotel recommended this place to get good pub food and watch game Is one of the most vibrant and welcoming local pubs I've ever been in ( and I've been in a lot of them ) Some of the best wings I've ever had Wish I was technologically adept enough to attach a screen shot of crowd tonight ! Great place Do yourself a favor and go there ! read more

We had an early dinner on a Wednesday. The place smelled like food upon entering, which is a good sign. Place was clean and music was quiet and pleasant. Decor was dark wood. The waitress was very professional. Menus a bit dirty. Mac and Cheese had a vinegary flavor. BBQ pork sliders were good and fries were crispy. Pickles good. So, nothing amazing but nothing bad either. read more

Burger overcooked with no flavor. The food here is a travesty to your taste buds...ugh. No idea what they are doing but it's wrong. read more

This place has totally gone down hill. I used to go here regularly considering it's literally 2 minutes down the road from my place and the food is consistently good. I love their chicken wings, Reuben sandwiches, fried pickles, and sweet potato fries!!! And their burgers are bangin'!!! They also have karaoke on Tuesday's!!! You know what is absolutely lacking here? THE SERVICE! The past three times I've been here to eat with my friends we pretty much served ourselves. On all three occasions we weren't even offered a menu! And what's sad is it wasn't even busy. Don't get me wrong- there are some really good and friendly bartenders here, especially the short blonde woman. But the service is just so inconsistent it's not worth it to go...especially because there are so many great bars so close by, they have some competition and they really need to get it together. It's sad because whenever my friends and I were trying to decide where to eat we would always go here. Now I don't even recommend it. read more

Favorite bar in Utica area. Great wings. Bartender Mike on Thursday and Sunday is best and friendliest around. I'll be back.

Food expensive! Service poor-Waited over hour for wings-$34 for wings! Server did not return to table to ck on us! Menu poor selection

Best wings in the Mohawk Valley!! The wing sauces are amazing and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Cold beer, too! read more

Our food was just not good, there was a hair in my burger and one member of our party even threw up after eating his meal. I payed 30 dollars for something I couldn't eat. I guess bar food is just really not good. I would never ever eat it again, wish dine and dashing was legal bc I wanted to get out of there fast. Our sever talked to us like we were 5 and knew nothing. Overall do not go here. read more

This place has really gone down hill. Probably wont be back again, Have been here twice now and the service has been less than stellar.. Our food took forever this time and came out cold, none the less.. we both feel sick after eating here & I actually did get sick. read more

The food is great here the fried pickles are yummy. And there Shirley temples are good read more

For wings anytime and fish on Friday, this is where you want to get em. A local bar that most of Utica knows about. If you are a mushroom fan my co-worker claims the mushroom stew is to die. The staff has a great sense of humor and are more than willing to trade jabs (all in fun). As you would expect from a little bar on a busy corner, it is not really a place for small children or a romantic date but if you want great wings, get them with the everything sauce, and ice cold beer at a reasonable price. Get to the Killabrew and kill a few! read more

The Fish And Chips was just sliced potatoes and not even the fish that they usually use for fish and chips I am Mad and also I had explosive diharrea or constipation or whatever and the coleslaw made me upset read more

Lots of beers on tap. Bartender was very attentive and extremely nice. Wings were ok. Ordered extra crispy but they were pretty standard. Wings were 5/10; bar 7.5/10 read more

When I think of small neighborhood sports bar, this is the place. A wonderful beer selection on draft, including some locals as well as some hard to find beers on draft. My suggestion is the wings coated in there everything sauce, just be sure to grab a handful of napkins before you dive in. read more

They have the best cauliflower pizza in New Hartford. Can't wait to go back and order again.

Monday evening 7pm: Great reviews, poor performance. Sat at our reserved table on time. No menus upon being seated. Took forever to get menus. Took forever to get our order taken. Took forever to get our food. I ordered Everything wings and sweet potato fries. Was charged for both. Never received the sweet potato fries. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Very disappointed. The reason I give two stars was for the fantastic beer choices. Heady Topper for the win. read more

Amazing attention to detail with my take out order! They read my note and serviced exactly what I asked for. Thank you!

Nice beer list and the food is actually good Their service though, wow You might die of dehydration before someone brings a refill Waited 30 min to pay my tab Bartenders just kept walking past... Love the surly 20 yo punk bartender So much for service Guy next to me left Waited 25 min at the bar and wasn't even acknowledged He left read more

If I could give it a zero I would, but since the lowest rating we can give them is a 1, so they get only that ..... we went there yesterday passing through and the ratings showed it was good. Not so much if not at all. Ordered coffee, they had no sugar ... waitress couldn't even be bothered to check other tables and somehow they had none at the bar and none in the kitchen (seriously?). Ordered appetizers, soup and dinner ..... soup never showed up and they brought the appetizers and main course all at once and gave us attitude when we said "we ordered those appetizers, could you hold onto the main course so it's not cold?". The one rolled her eyes and said "why didn't you say you wanted them separately" and we said ... we ordered appetizers, soup and a main course, why would you even bring them at once ... oh and you forgot the soups, are you going to bring them as dessert? They are an 'Irish' bar ... but we got sick from it ... I am from Ireland and was appalled by what they considered 'quality Irish food' ... the cabbage from the corned beef and cabbage was sour and brown ... not green and flavored. The fried mushrooms were so greasy my g/f was sick before we even left the building. They may have got great reviews for their wings, but they couldn't also get a basic burger right either. Restrooms were disgusting, they had the soap dispenser ducktaped to the wall in the mens room, the soap bag, not even the shell, it was nowhere to be found, smelled like old urine in there too like they never cleaned. Women's room had one 'working' stall, but the other was disgusting also. Outwardly this place looks nice, but looks are only skin deep .... and it's sour too! Drive past ...... next time we are not going back. Killabrew?? More like kill my intestines! read more

I am probably overly enthusiastic about this place as I just found it this year after visiting Utica for the last seven years, but HOLY COW they have THE BEST WINGS (even better than Altieri's, yes, it's true). Order the Everything sauce. It is, both metaphorically and literally, EVERYTHING, as described. Fries are tasty, and they're liberal with the cheese sauce (which, yes, is like, nacho cheese, but WHATEVER), I'm here for junk food and beer, and they do both well. We always receive great service when we go there - sometimes you have to go order your food at the bar, which is like, so not a big deal. Usually once they drop the food they do a drink check, and check back afterward, so we're cool with it. It's divey inside, but they always have the games on, and though it's sort of a dark hole, every table we've ever had has been perfectly clean. WE WILL RETURN! read more

We will be back!! That says it all! Best wings! I had the garlic, Joe had hot - fantastic! Cooked perfectly, great size, finger lickin' awesome! To go along with the wings we shared the January featured flatbread pizza, Mango Habanaro Chicken - boom full of flavor!! This is the go to place for wings! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon, fairly busy, prompt service, waitress was great. Layout of bar and dining area very accommodating. We will be back! read more

Killabrew Saloon - Garlic wings, hot wings, mango habanero chicken flatbread! Delicious! - Bars Near Me - New Hartford, New York

I don't think I've ever complained about service. The food is above average. There's a great beer list (although they always seem to be it of half their varieties) but getting service or even getting someone to acknowledge that you're in the building is like pulling teeth. Plus it's difficult to identify the wait staff because they're all hiding in the back or taking to their friends. read more

I reviewed this place a year ago with better results, sadly after the last two times our experience has been less than mediocre. Sitting at the bar in front of staff lucky to get service because the bar staff is too busy socializing with their friends. Friday evening long after the dinner crowd around 8p, we waited over an hour for our fish. Sad, this was our second attempt in a month for them to regain our patronage the same thing happened the first time. If you aren't local, or the bar staff doesn't know you, good luck getting good service. read more

First, waitress at lunch was on her own for all tables and she was very nice and helpful but understandably service was slow. Bringing a baby? Plan to change her on the tailgate of a truck as no changing table in the ladies room. How can you screw up fried pickles? Use thick sliced pickles to get a mushy texture and serve with an awful sauce. Beer was cold and delicious just wished the food we ordered was as good as other reviewers said. read more

Our new favorite wing and hangout spot. It's a bar we like to go to and not be oogled at but every tom dick and Harry for being there. A bar area for when you want to watch sports or have drinks with friends and also a room with tables and booths you can sit at to enjoy a quieter meal. For some reason their celery and blue cheese is even really good too. read more

These wings are what Cavallos was known for. Trouble is quality control is vital. Killabrew's has kept theirs...Cavallos has slipped mightily. This is the defacto wing joint in Utica now. Utica Club on tap as well. It's a pub (without the "Plastic Paddy" leprauchauns, shamrocks etc...) that is no nonsense and is really a great place to chat. read more

Ok, let me preface this by saying I am from Mass. and as such-I don't know good wings from great wings-that said-I think the wings here are GREAT!!! The beer and food is reasonably priced, and it's a pretty chill spot. If this place was in the Boston area, I would be there all the time for their wings. I come back at least once a year-and I am about to go back. Everything Wings Double order PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! read more

I'm a serious chicken wing eater and the wings here are some of the best. Tons of options (I like the everything wings) and the beer menu is awesome. Lots of craft brews on tap. Love the new updated look too (it's been a few years but I don't get out much). read more

The food is good here but the service is atrocious. Twice we've gone in, sat down at both the bar and the dining area and have not even gotten menus. This was not late at night, nor was it during a busy time. On another occasion I went in with a group of friends, all of us ordered beers except for one friend who ordered a mixed drink - the bartender was busy watching a football game and was clearly annoyed that she politely asked for a mixed drink instead of something he could just pour. We had asked to order food and were given one menu (there was a group of us) as he was watching the game with his back turned to us, chatting with his friends. We decided not to order and left after our first round of drinks to go to another bar with great service! read more

Ordered takeout and got home to find loaded nachos entirely unloaded...no ingredients included. Called to rectify and they offered to replace food, but not before calling back to say the chef was doing "deconstructed" nachos for take out. I think I would have noticed cartons of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, etc, if they were included. Insulting and ridiculous phone call from the restaurant. read more

You are not safe here. This place is an absolute disgrace treating their customers as if they are a bag of trash they were throwing out to the curb. An employee threw a man down the front steps where he smashed his head on the pavement and suffered a painful shoulder injury. Prior to this there was no confrontation other then the said group sitting at an empty table that apparently "belonged to the busboy" I'm sorry I thought the tables were for paying customers. Your safer at a bar in cornhill. Oh and the restaurant service is never good. Cleanliness is also below par. My friends and I will never return to this establishment. read more

Hadn't been here in a long time.. won't be going back for a long time. Food was good(over priced), service wasn't. Got menus quick, which stated on them that you need to ask for a drink menu. My fiancee asked for one and recieved a response of "we don't really do that".....so unsure what that means coming from a bar. So table stuck with water and wings. Wings were good, but 10$ for 10 wings doesn't make sense. read more
