Ordered a fish sandwich The fish was good Unfortunately the bun was old. That was my first time there, not sure if I will return.

We ordered the Haddock fish-fry Combo, the Lobster roll Combo, and a side of Calamari. It was not busy; the food took 15minutes. Unfortunately I was expecting the lobster roll to look like the sign, but got a totally different "hot" roll. It was scant shredded meat fried with celery salt and heavy black pepper, with bits of raw celery. It weighed next to nothing and was greasy. Despite being a combo, it did Not come with a drink like the other combos! It did come with good fries. We paid an extra $2.99 for the drink. The fried Haddock Combo came with fries and a drink but no tartar sauce ($1 extra). The fish was a good size with no fishy taste. Otherwise ,the place discourages eat-ins. The seating area was FREEZING cold; I needed to wear my hood and gloves. The bathrooms were BOTH blocked with a ladder and a sign saying "closed sorry ," so we couldn't wash our hands. Thankfully the lady at the counter let us use her hand sanitizer. The garbage can was full when we went to throw out the packaging. All-in-all, the ordering and eating experiences were unpleasant for a cost of $54. read more

Ordered gluten free meal and had rice pilaf over the fish. I was told the rice pilaf contains vermicelli which is made of wheat. Took the meal back to let them know and was met by a surly man who did not offer an apology or a refund. NEVER AGAIN !!! read more

My sister in law picked up my gluten free fish order for me. They were going to substitute the rice pilaf which has wheat in it for another option. It arrived with the pilaf over the fish so I couldn't eat it. When she tried to return it the owner told her to take a hike. They refused to make good on their error. I had a similar problem with them when they first opened a couple years which I attributed to just being new. So I thought I would give it another shot. Never again. The owner was rude and abusive to my sister in law. And beware, you will be charged an extra $2.50 for the tarter sauce. So many other great options in the area so there is no need to here to get ripped off. read more

I was wanting to try their prepared fish and take some to cook at home. This was Saturday December 6 2025 @ 1016 am. I ask two important questions to a father of son with Shell fish allergies 1 do you cook your fries where you cook your shrimps ? I was planning on making a risotto with pan seared scallops. I pulled up to the store and walked in. I was immediately greeted by the smell of fresh seafood. A friendly employee greeted me and took my order of one pound of scallops. The store was bright and clean. I even made some small talk with a couple other customers. When I cooked the scallops later in the day, I knew they were fresh and they were going to taste delicious. I will be purchasing all of my seafood in the future from Fresco Fish. read more

Service good and very polite quality of the to go food was burnt. The clams calmari & haddock were very burnt so burnt that it dried out the whole belly clams and calamar.Thefish was tender in the middle but the outer edges were not edible. read more

Stopped in today with a one tracked mind - CLAMS! the guys working there were helpful and we decided on a bag of top neck clams. The clams were purged, clean and healthy. Out of the 100 count bag - only one was questionable so it went uneaten. The place is slammed on Friday for fish fry's - and they have a great special on Wednesdays - check them out. read more

I don't know if my experience was typical, but I got the jumbo haddock fish fry and a side of medium fries and coleslaw and they somehow got my food out in less than 6 minutes. Everything tasted great and when they say jumbo they really mean it. I'm the kind of person who can eat an 18 inch pizza in one sitting and I barely finished it all. The fish was hot and crispy and they did a good job with the coleslaw - a lot of places make it too sweet but Fresco knows what they're doing. Their fries are addicting - honestly I would go back just for the fries. Only thing I would say is they should switch to wooden tables and chairs and keep salt, pepper, ketchup, and napkins at every table. The food came out hot but it got cold in just a few minutes sitting on a metal table. Maybe some baseboard heating in the dining area would help too - it was 20F today and you could definitely feel the chill! read more

when it first opened I got a fish sandwich. it was $8.99 and good size. the website says it now cost $10.99. I got one and was charged $15.99 ! website says they open on Fridays at 8am. I went there at 9:30 to get a fish fry. they said they don't bake until 10. ive learned everyth there is ala carte or full, small coleslaw $3.99 and $2.50 for tartar sauce ! bottom line is they need to straighten out their website and lower their prices. go to whitesboro fish market, great fish ! read more

Would give zero stars if possible. Last night was awful! I can't comment on the food because I never received my order. The order was placed online, I received an acknowledgement email. I even called earlier in the day and was told no problem, it will be ready at 5:25 After more than 30 minutes waiting, being told it was coming up, I asked to please go in back and check the order. It was never even started. The worst part was that the mistake was never acknowledged, not a "I'm sorry this happened". A lady behind the counter actually blamed me for ordering too early. read more

My Lobster roll was really delicious. We ended up here after we couldn't find Pumpernickel's Deli. Mom really liked her crab sticks - they are imitation crab but that made it easier for her to chew them. Tartar sauce tasted homemade. He said his clam strips are fresh never frozen so maybe we'll try those next time. The young man behind the counter made an effort to be kind to each customer that came in. He knows his fish! This is a counter service place so don't expect table service or to be waited on, but he did carry our food out to us.
