Our experience was beyond excellent. One of the women who spoke the most English took excellent care of me through all of my questions and helped with recommendations. She also introduced us to other excellent choices. When I went back in to buy additional desserts, she sent me out with the most wonderful hot pastry to share with my husband, at no cost. The store itself has many types of foods you cannot find any place else including pork tongue. The ladies were wonderful, the selections were fabulous and the experience, well the experience was amazing! We will definitely stop in the shop anytime that we are in the Utica area. Then greeted by Kyle our waiter who was awesome! So classy, and so prompt, great service, suggestions, check backs, fantastic! Now the food! The bang bang cauliflower was delicious. Crispy outside, tasty seasoning, tender cauliflower. Outstanding salads with tender chicken on the Caesar salad and the shrimp was perfectly cooked on the Asian salad with crisp mixed lettuce and a sweet savory dressing. Kudos to the chef or chefs. One of the best restaurants! We will be back! Hoping to sit on the outdoor patio that I am sure is wonderful in a nice day. They also have a private room for special events. I haven't found the quality to particularly be that amazing here, but when I need an item that isn't likely to be found at the Hannaford I will go here. Also the doughnuts they have at their bakery are huge but not amazing. Kind of dry. I think I'd be more thrilled if I could get a coffee for here, but I would probably complain about the price of that too.

The fried clam strips are absolutely a must. They are getting hard to find around the country and it is a pleasure to be able to get them when in Utica. They are seasoned just right. And everyone at my table seemed pleased with the full variety of this most satisfying menu. Coffee and dessert were very nice. Lisa as the owner was an amazing support to tables around us. Definitely a team effort. Really good coordination between management, kitchen, and servers. We had the Utica Bag with all sauces. And for being in an area with a fair amount of ethnic diversity, their idea of 'international food' is Ortega and LaChoy. I'm amazed that Price Chopper, a company that generally has considerable quality, has allowed this location to continue operating like this.
