Chanatry's is a great local Supermarket native to the Utica Area. They have a lot of local products that you would not find at the other area chain grocery stores. Come here to find those specialty products and fresh foods, but for regular shopping their prices might be a bit higher. Upon arrival you will find a spacious and newly paved parking lot which is kept clean. Entering the store you will instantly see small displays of local goodies. I picked up some of the "Its a Utica Thing" vodka riggies sauce. The produce section is small but the items are fresh! There is an aisle adjacent to the produce full of special marinades and sauces. Here you will find the famous Lupos speedie marinade, Dinosaur BBQ sauces, and so much more! Head behind this to the bakery for your Italian pusties (pastaciotti) and some sensational pies. We tried the strawberry rhubarb and were pleasantly surprised. Venturing through the rest of the store we got some handmade Dino's meatballs to go with Manicotti. On the way out don't forget your Utica coffee! The store is clean and organized, the only downside I found was several items we were about to buy were actually expired. Please check your expiration dates here before leaving! This truly is the hometown store!

The menu features a variety of snacks, boba tea, and traditional Nepali dishes like momos and chowmein, all prepared with fresh, authentic ingredients. The wife and I kinda stumbled upon Muju while in the area. We were heading somewhere else to eat, which happened to be closed, and we came upon Muju around the corner, saw the good reviews, and decided to give it a try. And we were glad we did. It's definitely an interesting place - you can order food at the front counter, there are tables to sit and eat, but then also an international grocery store in the middle of the building. We both ordered a tea, some Nepali spicy chicken chow mein, and an order of fried pork momo, which are their version of gyoza, or dumplings. Our food was delicious. The spicy chow mein definitely had a kick to it, but was very good. Dumplings are one of my absolute favorite foods, I usually prefer the thinner wrappers over the thicker ones - there were the thicker ones, but they were cooked so perfectly it didn't matter. Crispy outside, the meat filling inside was delicious. We're not in Utica often, but we'd definitely go back again if we were in the area,

You can get them steamed or fried in a variety of different styles/sauces. They also serve some noodle dishes and other foods and bubble teas. There are aisles of groceries from various countries, and a few chairs and tables in case you want to dine in. Also some fun miscellaneous import items. They really try to bring in a community here and welcome folks from all parts of the world. The owners collaborate with other internationally-born chefs and have other ventures like a meal sharing service app and grocery delivery. They're doing really amazing things and are worth checking out!
