In my opinion, taking care of customers seemed to be the last thing on their minds- I had been smoking a cigarette, but when I saw the signs, I quickly put it out before I approached the counter- as I turned around after placing my order, I heard a young man yell out "enjoy your cancer!" I thought his comment was grossly inappropriate and unprofessional and I told the girl at the window I had caught that comment and that they shouldn't judge their customers! She immediately went back to the cooking area and told the cook what I had said-then they all had some kind of pow-wow and next thing I know, I'm the focus of attention! I felt awkward and uncomfortable-when all I wanted was to quietly order 2 steak sandwiches and be on my way home-sans all the DRAMA . The topper was when the guy who made the comment and I'm guessing cooked my food came to the counter personally to hand me my sandwiches.
