Not sure why some many have had serious problems with this location. I've been here at least a half dozen times and for the most part, things have gone well here. The location is on thr north side of Highway 501 near Dairy Queen. Yes, they seem to have lots of managerial and employee turnover, but the chicken is consistently good. It's always hot and fresh and the lobby always seems clean. They score 100 on their state health report. The employees we've encountered seem friendly enough and provide requested items like plates, etc. without any issue. I typically order ahead using the app and my food is always ready for me to pick up. Sometimes I eat there and other times I take it to go. No problems either way. They don't have wifi, but they do have tons of free lot parking and the food is always consistent to the KFC brand you'd expect from all other KFC locations. We used the drive-thru to take advantage of their 8-pieces-dark-meat-for-$10 special. Since we didn't want to wait for a new batch; we got a mixture of Original & Extra-crispy pieces. Our order was processed efficiently. The staff person we encountered was friendly and attentive. The food was standard KFC; nothing fancy, just decent comfort food, at a reasonable price. Perhaps people don't understand that specific menu items may take some extra time but that means it's probably fresher. The mashed potato bowl is good and has all the necessary ingredients. It is unbelievable these people are allowed to serve the public. One poor young man did the job of 4 people. He took your order and walked in the back to prepare your order alone while 4 women where yelling and laughing with each other. One woman in the far back acted like she was in charge. She would yell at the other 3 women to do something and they would ignore her. There was a very large woman preparing food with no gloves on and eating food while she packed your food?? Wow! very unsanitar, scary thing is she did this in the open while two other customers and I watched her! If that was not bad enough she then took her unloved hand and stuck it inside her shirt to adjust her bra!!! Twice!! all while we watched. Imagine what she does alone?? scary! Saw an ad on TV that lured me to a KFC close to where I live. Hadn't been to a KFC for many years due to bad experience and horrible food. Was hoping for a much better experience and hoping food would be like the TV ad. NOT SO! Had a 2 for $6 promo going on. Got a chicken sandwich and an order of tenders for $6. Sound like a good value? This is the second time coming to this location and both times the crew was extremely unprofessional. On the first occasion, two cashiers attempted to take our order. Both were very rude and shouting into the microphone that they were unable to hear not only me, but my passenger who also attempted to say the order. Tonight, we decided to give this location another try on our way home and waited a good minute at the Menu before we were greeted and i had to say something to be greeted. While ordering the food, the cashier said she made sure there were chicken tenders before proceeding with the order then once we pulled up to pay they cancelled our entire order, A man came to the window and said that the tenders and popcorn chicken was too cold, but if we wanted to proceed he would discount the cold chicken for us. I wasn't really impressed with the service I received today. While ordering I had to repeat myself several times. Each time I was polite and courteous because I understand that is hard to understand sometimes. My order was still incorrect once I received it and the sweet tea was definitely not sweet at all. I still remained nice and told the cashier to have a wonderful day and thank you and was not met with any sort of response just a closed drive thru window. Needless to say i won't be returning. The drive thru worker was rude. It took 10 minutes for them to take my order and I was the only car in line. When she took my order, I asked for wedges and she didn't ask what kind of sauce I wanted so when I got to the window I asked for sauce and she almost threw them at me. The KFC is so short handed and has little to no sense of urgency. I like the product and will wait some times. Many times I see people leave due to long waits They don't take all credit cards so I have to pay cash when I go. I only go as a change up. And then have the same opinion every time Sorry but I think it is an ingrained culture as it does not change up as the people do. On the recommendation of several friends, I tried the chicken pot pie. What I got was very disappointing. In the whole mess was one small chunk of chicken, lots of overcooked mushy potatoes, and a lot of yucky stuff. The top crust was rather nice. First off when I googled...it showed this location closed at 11. Also the time that Yelp lists. I went at 9:50 to be told I had 3 min to make an order because the system automatically shuts downs to run closing report. Then when I placed the order there was not 4 pieces of fried chicken, not 3 pieces, not 2, not even 1 piece of fried chicken. They only had dark meat grilled. Only sides were ones I don't eat like mashed and gravy, and the mac and cheese and slaw. I felt rushed. And annoyed hat I could only get grilled. Conway KFC today, awful is a compliment! I wanted a $5 fill up with wedges rather than mashed potato, girl at counter asked me what sides I wanted, I said biscut she says comes with one so I said cole slaw and ends up I was charged for a cole slaw side, Paid nearly 8 bucks for a $5 fill up, OK, didn't fuss about that, 10mins later my food is ready, guy calls my name and rather than walk 10 feet to hand it to me has me walk to him, OK, can deal with that. The guys was not really pleasant, seems his only job was to take food prepped and walk to the edge of the counter & callout someone's name? Get my food, sit down to eat and notice the biscut that I was told came with my meal was not there, so I asked the same guy that gave me my food for my biscut, He took my receipt and got me a biscut but no apology, not a word but his look was as if I bothered him? As I begin to eat, a guy sitting couple chairs from me pointed out to the manager there was some foreign thing in his mashed potatoes, manager took them and asked if he wanted her to bring him more mashed? LOL Yeah, I want some more of that...LOL INsult to injury for me was finished eating, noticed my bill once again and saw I was supposed to get a cookie and that was not given to me. The service was awful but the food was good. I walked in instead of the drive thru to get it to go and was no way impressed with the gentleman taking my order. I asked him a question and he rattled it off like he was singing the alphabet really fast and I could not understand him. I asked him again and same response. Hands down, the BEST fast food experience I've ever had. We were immediately greeted and had our order taken. The cashier (I believe his name was Austin) was thorough, friendly, and outgoing, which was really refreshing. He was training another young man who was also exceptionally friendly and thorough. The food was served to us within a minute of ordering, hot and fresh. The dining area was clean and the staff quickly checked each table as other customers left. The cashier came out and offered to refill our drinks, checked to see if we needed anything else, and even came and cleared our trays when we were finished. My husband and I were beyond pleased with our experience and will most definitely return because of the incredible experience and service these young men provided. read more

We were told it would take 10 minutes due to the wings. 20 minutes later we were told it would be another 5 minutes because the wings weren't dropped when they should have been and weren't up to temp. 10 minutes later (keeping count that's 30 minutes waiting) we asked for a manager and a total refund. At first we were told the order was ready - wrong! The wings were there, but not the rest of the order. Received our refund and left. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!! We had an awful experience before going thru their drive thru about 4 months ago, so we decided to place our order inside the restaurant this time. We put an order in for the $20 Fill Up special that they have on their menu at 6:55pm last night. They had 2 people in line waiting for their food that had already ordered that were in front of us waiting for their orders to come up. After waiting there for a half an hour, with at least 7 people who ordered after us receiving their food, I asked the employee behind the counter why I our order was taking so long. This employee shrugged his shoulders and didn't know why we were skipped over so many times. I was not going to wait any longer so I told them to give me my money back, which took another 10 minutes for them to do. I didn't get really any kind of apology or any kind of restitution from this manager / key holder type person. In fact we paid with a debit card, so who knows when I will get credited for my purchase. I will never go to this place again. I will tell every one of my neighbors, and every one of my co workers (I work at the College with 100's of employees) to never go to this place. Stay away from this place, I am warning you all now.
