BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order on the app at around 10pm and arrived at the store before 11pm and was greeted with lights off at the drive thru. I pulled up to the drive thru window and was rudely greeted by a manager saying they closed and refused to give me my order. Claiming they didn't have an order by that name. The app clearly shows they are open till midnight and even corporate customer service confirmed they should be open till midnight. Also had a very unprofessional and rude conversation with a day manager as they were no help and only offered excuses and no resolve. Skip this KFC and go to one in Frederick. read more

My favorite is the Chicken Pot Pie. Delicious, only a top crust, not a gooey bottom crust. Always hot and yummy! I've purchased many times over the past couple years and it's the same quality every time. Employees are great. I will keep returning to the Mt Airy MD location. read more

Wife and I were home last night, kids were out, and we decided to get something to eat and watch the Sunday Night football game. Got a bucket of chicken crispy with a couple sides. Wow....What happened to the food quality. Chicken was absolutely tasteless...none of that famous KFC taste. Ordered dinner for the family. 8 pc grilled chicken, side order of corn and mashed potato. First of all, grill chicken was so old and dry, hard as a rock. took a bite and almost broke my thooth. no joke! not just one but all the chicken pieces. end up biting couple pieces and into the trash can it all went. Next corn. It looked like its days old. dried out no juice at all, also went to the trash can. by the time i went to the mashed potato, didnt even want to look at it, so went to trash can. Terrible. The people working here clearly have no idea what they doing considering that 9/10 times, my order will be wrong. It's not even complicated. 4 soft chicken tacos, no lettuce, and mild sauce. THAT'S IT. I even make sure to repeat my because they get it wrong everytime. Tonight was actually the worst. This KFC/Taco Combo is the worst. The service is horrible. The last time I went there, I had to wait 35 minutes for chicken. Tonight I went there, hoping to get a taco, and sat in the drive thru-line for 15 minutes. When it still did not move, I parked my car to go inside. I stood there at the counter for another 15 minutes and never got waited on. One employee saw me twice. The first time he was walking around in the back of the kitchen on a cell phone. This place used to be terrible but I gave it another chance tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The manager working the counter was fast, friendly, and on top of things even though they were obviously understaffed and barely able to keep up in the kitchen.
