This KFC location is awful. The dining room is supposed to be open till 9 pm. We arrived at 8 pm to order 2 dinners. It took quite a while for someone to take our order. All but 1 person was busy cleaning the restaurant instead of waiting on customers. after placing our order it took 15 minutes to actually get it. we sat down to eat and one employee started wiping off tables and putting the chairs on top of the tables. all around us. intimidating us to hurry and leave. very unprofessional and rude. we will NEVER support this establishment again. as we were leaving a group of 5 people entered the dining room and were told there order would have to be to go that the dining room was closing. we wished them luck. considering they are representing the KFC business you should be concerned. for anyone thinking of supporting this establishment, buyer be ware. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I placed an order on the app at around 10pm and arrived at the store before 11pm and was greeted with lights off at the drive thru. I pulled up to the drive thru window and was rudely greeted by a manager saying they closed and refused to give me my order. Claiming they didn't have an order by that name. The app clearly shows they are open till midnight and even corporate customer service confirmed they should be open till midnight. Also had a very unprofessional and rude conversation with a day manager as they were no help and only offered excuses and no resolve. Skip this KFC and go to one in Frederick. read more

KFC - KFC app showing they are open till midnight - Fast Food Near Me - Mount Airy, Maryland

My favorite is the Chicken Pot Pie. Delicious, only a top crust, not a gooey bottom crust. Always hot and yummy! I've purchased many times over the past couple years and it's the same quality every time. Employees are great. I will keep returning to the Mt Airy MD location. read more

I haven't had KFC in a long time, and I was a little apprehensive after seeing the reviews for this location, but I can honestly say it's the best I've had in years! The chicken breasts were huge and the meat was juicy, fries were crispy, mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect, and the biscuit was fresh. I'll gladly continue to visit this location. read more

Wife and I were home last night, kids were out, and we decided to get something to eat and watch the Sunday Night football game. Got a bucket of chicken crispy with a couple sides. Wow....What happened to the food quality. Chicken was absolutely tasteless...none of that famous KFC taste. Mac & Cheese has an orange dry thick layer on top, french fries tasted and felt like they were cooked 8 hours prior....totally disappointed....only thing good was the cole slaw. read more

The service was not good , the employees were rude , me as a person who works at a food place , felt ignored as a customer, they ignored us when we asked for silverware 2 times and only had one bathroom and had to ask them to restock the toilet paper and the bathroom was not well cleaned. read more

Very poor service. The workers were rude and very unprofessional. The food was prepared very sloppy.

Absolutely disgusting soggy greasy overcooked not crispy crap. This place should be shut down. This place isn't even worthy of proper grammar. I've never been so angry after receiving a meal, if you can call it that. Smallest chicken I've ever seen, didn't know chickens came could be that small unless less they were harvested before they were fully grown. A 5 dollar fill up... I think I'd rather fill my car up and drive somewhere else. Goodbye kfc! And I don't mean it like bye see ya later. I mean it like when your girlfriend finally breaks up with you and she says goodbye.. Meaning forever..! read more

Ordered dinner for the family. 8 pc grilled chicken, side order of corn and mashed potato. First of all, grill chicken was so old and dry, hard as a rock. took a bite and almost broke my thooth. no joke! not just one but all the chicken pieces. end up biting couple pieces and into the trash can it all went. Next corn. It looked like its days old. dried out no juice at all, also went to the trash can. by the time i went to the mashed potato, didnt even want to look at it, so went to trash can. This is the last time visiting this joint! read more

Terrible. The people working here clearly have no idea what they doing considering that 9/10 times, my order will be wrong. It's not even complicated. 4 soft chicken tacos, no lettuce, and mild sauce. THAT'S IT. I even make sure to repeat my because they get it wrong everytime. Tonight was actually the worst. I got my order and there was more lettuce than I'd ever see before. Usually they'd just forget the mild sauce but instead they gave me DIABLO. This isn't even incompetence anymore. This is just malicious. read more

Terrible. Cold food rude manager long wait. Go to Royal Farms for chicken, or anywhere else really. Eat here and you might get sick.

Stopped there for takeout today and when I got home I realized they forgot to give me the chicken, I went back later that night and asked for a refund. I was treated very rudely by the manager and she didn't even offer an apology. Keep in mind it was a 40 minute round trip out of my evening, I will not be going back. read more

The worst food in Mt Airy. No air condition, slow service, employee with attitude I got maybe a table spoon of meat and a table spoon of rice in my taco salad! This place needs to be shut down!! They never get orders right the. Want to argue with you. read more

KFC - Just pitiful. Maybe a teaspoon of meat and a teaspoon of rice! What a joke. Close this place! - Fast Food Near Me - Mount Airy, Maryland

I am a former employee, and I tell you, the way they cook the food is unappetizing. They litterally save a day or 2 old mac and cheese, corn, coleslaw and mashed potatoes and green beans. If you want something fresh don't go here. read more

This KFC/Taco Combo is the worst. The service is horrible. The last time I went there, I had to wait 35 minutes for chicken. Tonight I went there, hoping to get a taco, and sat in the drive thru-line for 15 minutes. When it still did not move, I parked my car to go inside. I stood there at the counter for another 15 minutes and never got waited on. One employee saw me twice. The first time he was walking around in the back of the kitchen on a cell phone. It looked like there were only 2 people working. I left and went to Burger King instead. read more

This place used to be terrible but I gave it another chance tonight and was pleasantly surprised. The manager working the counter was fast, friendly, and on top of things even though they were obviously understaffed and barely able to keep up in the kitchen. While people were waiting on food to come out he was making sure all the customers knew their orders were coming and getting them out their food as soon as they were ready. read more

Sorry but this place is so nasty. I have been in Mt. Airy for 21 years and probably only been there 5-8 times and will never eat there again. Please shut this disgusting place down. read more
