I was doing doordash! Caused me to lose my income and waste my time thanks to lazy workers. I Pulled up along w many other cars to order. Worker writes this sign, puts it up, and walks out and drives away. With many cars lined up, Who knows how long the people in front of me waited. It wasn't until you finally left that you see this note on the drive thru window. would have been nice to maybe cut off your doordash orders, or maybe even put the sign where customers will see it when it needs to be seen, not when they lose their patience and finally pull off. the following week i had a friend go through the exact same experience at this location around the same time, 3pm

Floyd's Restaurant Review - (4/5) Floyd's delivers exactly…read morewhat great Southern comfort food should: generous portions, rich flavors, and dishes that are clearly made with care. Unfortunately, several sanitation observations during my visit kept an otherwise excellent meal from earning a higher rating. The dining room was noticeably warm throughout the evening, making it somewhat uncomfortable during the meal. On the positive side, every member of the staff we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. We also had the opportunity to meet the pastry chef, who was personable and clearly passionate about his work. The meal began with the house rolls, which were outstanding. They were warm, incredibly soft, buttery, and practically melted in your mouth. The Shrimp Napoleon was an excellent appetizer and easily one of the highlights of the evening. The shrimp were well prepared, the flavors were balanced, and the dish had wonderful depth. I'd rate it an 8/10. The deviled eggs had good flavor overall, although the filling leaned heavily toward mustard. The egg whites were somewhat firm and gave the impression they had been prepared well in advance and refrigerated. While enjoyable, they weren't nearly as memorable as the other dishes. The meatloaf was exceptional--without question one of the best I've ever had. It was tender, flavorful, and complemented perfectly by a rich, savory gravy. The green beans tasted remarkably fresh and were cooked beautifully. I added a side of cheese grits, which were creamy, cheesy, and absolutely outstanding. Portion sizes throughout the meal were generous and represented excellent value. Dessert finished the evening on a high note. The Key lime pie was outstanding, with a perfectly balanced tartness, smooth filling, and excellent crust. It was one of the best restaurant desserts I've had in quite some time. Where the experience suffered was in several sanitation and food-handling observations. During service, I observed an employee visibly sweating, wiping away perspiration, and then continuing food service. A fly was also discovered in an iced tea, and from my seat I was able to observe that the tea had been poured from a communal pitcher that was being used to refill multiple guests' glasses. One observation was particularly concerning. While seated near the service area, I watched an employee package a guest's leftover meal. During the process, the container slipped, partially opened, and the food fell onto the kitchen floor. Rather than discarding it or replacing the portion, the food was simply picked up, placed back into the container, and boxed as though nothing had happened. As someone who pays close attention to restaurant operations, moments like these raise legitimate concerns about food handling standards and overall sanitation practices. Floyd's has all the ingredients of a destination restaurant. The food is genuinely excellent, the staff is welcoming, and several dishes are worth returning for. However, consistent execution extends beyond the plate. Food safety and sanitation are just as important as flavor, and the observations from this visit make it difficult to award a higher score.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the hushpuppies were mostly good. There is a BIG PROBLEM here. And…read moreit's NOT the food persay. It's HOW THEY COOK IT. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, PLEASE CHANGE YOUR OIL I could taste what you cooked 10 years ago. Idk if your supposed to use the same grease for seafood AND fried chicken, but, apparently, that's what's happening. I would suggest one dedicated fryer for seafood. You may be able to get by with frying the hushpuppies in the seafood fryer, and use a dedicated fryer for chicken and fries and onion rings. I'm not that hard to please, but, the first thing I bit into buy lbit into was a hushpuppy that tasted weird, then I decided it test like fries chicken. So did the oysters andcthe shrimp. I couldn't even eat the onion rings, the taste was too awful. I'm SORRY to write this. I hate that I had to. I drove from almost Greenville NC, and was salivating all the way. I wanted it to be good so badly. I wasn't even upset about the $50 I wasted on it. Just PLEASE, try the frying deal. Let us know on Facebook when you do, and I'll come back. Thanks. Sorry for the typo's. Apparently yelp needs help as well

We ordered a shrimp burger and a super hamburger(special toppings) with an order of fries and one of the hush puppies. Order was quick and the food was hot and delicious! The hush puppies were not like others you normally get - they were long and plump! Almost like rolled tubes! They were delicious. Both sandwiches were very good and cooked just right. My burger came with slaw but it was not like any slaw I've had. Somewhat sweet but no mayonnaise! I'll be looking online for this recipe. Overall great drive in food at a good price. We will be back again this week!

Like a lot of people who have tried CFA, I am a complete and total Kool-Aid drinker. I believe in…read moretheir product not only because of the flavor but mostly on account of the chain's shocking ability to be consistent even though they're all franchises which at most chains would equate to an all over the place experience. We rumbled in here on a weekday after what most would consider a traditional lunch time to find the usual shit storm that most CFA's have which is how do you get on to the property? The drive thru line is backed up around the store and 95% of the parking spaces are taken. We were committed to eating inside and thankfully got one of the only tables available. The order process is as expected with one problem. They are out of lemonade. The girl at the register half fills our cups and said that they were making more but that it would be 10-15 minutes at least until it would be ready. Grumble. Grumble. Whatever. The food makes it's way to our table about 10 minutes later and it tastes as expected with the nugs, wrap and sandwich. One of the employees finally comes out with the five gallon bucket they mix the lemonade in and fills the container. At that time you see myself and four other people descend like locusts with around ten cups looking for refills or in our case, the part of the fill we actually paid for but never received. I hope they had more on the way past that because what they brought out was not going to last long at all. On a side note, one of the employees was walking around table to table telling people that they are going to be piloting a program in the near future where you'll be able to pre-order food via the app and when you come in it'll be brought to you at a table restaurant style. Is that good or bad? I don't know. I've never heard of it locally where I live but I don't do apps so whatever. Like pretty much all other CFA locations I've ever been to the food is solid and that's what keeps me coming back for more. But in the future CFA should really consider building stores with larger seating and parking components. This isn't your typical fast food place where the bulk on the business is done via the drive thru. No, CFA does a fair amount of business with people choosing to eat in. Hopefully they figure that out in the future especially if they're going to try things that resemble quasi-sit down restaurant service.
