Pros - friendly service with smiles, well-packed order, at good temperature. . Cons - Fast food prices have gotten so high. Mobile order wasn't ready at posted time. No one else was in the drive-thru, but I was told to pull forward and park in front as they were still preparing my cherry turnover bites. I said that I could wait at the window, as there was no one behind me, but they said I had to pull forward because their window service is timed. Well, see it kind of makes sense, if my order wasn't ready that it should be a longer time at the window. Just another way to fudge their numbers for corporate but not really take care of customer service. I wasn't in a hurry so I pulled forward and waited. I really didn't wait that much longer and got my order. On the mobile order, I did not choose utensils, and all I requested was one extra ranch sauce for 20 cents. Imagine my surprise when I open the bag to find 6 sporks, 6 packages of honey sauce and 5 packages of butter flavored spread. All I had ordered was one 3 piece tender's combo meal. It is amazingly wasteful to give me all these extra items that I did not request. The cherry turnover bites, that I had waited for, were very oily and under cooked. Excellent customer service tonight (2/23/26)! We ordered a few things, but I didn't get my usual ice-cream because they were cleaning the machine. Well, we went back up to get me a soda, and we were told not to worry about it, and they just gave me one. They also gave me the bit of vanilla ice-cream that was still left in the machine because it wasn't enough for a full cone. This meant the world to me tonight as we had just come from a rosary service. They even told us to have a good night as we left. Thank you so much to the kind people working tonight. The receipt shows they upgraded me to a large drink. I went up to thr counter and asked for the drink since my receipt shows they charged me for a meal. Nope they refused and then argued with me that they could charge me for just my potato and it will be more expensive. Today 3/25/2025 I purchased a few items from the drive thru menu in Meridian, Idaho. I tried something new that was promoted with a nice & appealing picture. It was called Cherry Pie Poppers and came as 2 pieces for $.99. I purchased 2 orders. These did not resemble the promo picture and DID NOT have any cherry filling as the name indicated. They were tastless, fried popper shaped, bite size flaky pie pieces. What a WASTE of money, although I didn't spend much, it's the fact that the picture is misleading and the product is disappointing. They should stop promoting this item as something edible and remove it from their offerings. KFC can and should do better. read more

I don't come often as this location is out of my way from work & home, this was perhaps my 2nd visit. I love the potato bowls and have not had one in over a year, and then I had this craving! I made the trip and I was NOT disappointed. Look at all that chicken!!! I sent the photo to my mom in TX and a friend in Boise and it got their mouths watering. They both took off shortly after to get their own and sent me photos of theirs too, and we compared notes. Hint: mine was the best! Okay I am craving it again. I've been enjoying a famous bowl and cheese curds here for years now. Seemingly, I just need to quit. Everytime I order a mash potato famous bowl I never get it made right, always missing either corn or gravy or cheese. It's a dry bowl of chicken and instant potatoes for 9$ when they don't build it correctly . A read of the menu or quick search tells me it should have potatoes, fried chicken, corn, gravy and cheese. I've yet to see all these things actually make it into an order. Disappointed every time Pictured is my dry chicken with dry potatoes ! No gravy no cheese. I've been going to this store weekly for the past couple of years. I donate the lunch I purchase to a shut-in nursing home patient, because she loves KFC! Otherwise I would take my business elsewhere after today. Despite a couple of errors here & there I've enjoyed this KFC Store & even got to know the names of several of the employees who have always been very nice & helpful, until today. But I've not interacted with this employee,Haley, previously to my recollection. Maybe she's newer as the Asst Mgr might be also. The young woman, Haley, who took my order at the drive through couldn't seem to get my order correct & seemed irritated with me. When paying I had a gift card with $55 remaining but Haley rudely said it was declined. I asked her to try again & she refused. I had already waited in line inside , then decided to go through the drive though. After my card wasn't accepted I returned to the inside & asked to be waited on instead of waiting in another line again so I could just pay for my order. After a lot of back & forth with the Asst Mgr, Stephanie, I was told I had to wait at the back of the line again. I admit, by then I had become irritated also due to her disagreeable attitude. She didn't seem to believe I had credit on my card & directed me to call the card number to get my balance, when all she had to do was just run the card through the lobby register. But I called the card number & was assured my balance was just over $55. By the time the Asst Mgr, Stephanie, finally waited on me, she was still rude to me & became even more snarky as I ran my card too soon. She had to make my order again because of the long time delay. I ran my gift card through the inside machine, which was accepted immediately. She offered no explanation & used an accusatory tone toward me. So, starting with a rude employee who made an error, instead of being pleasant & apologizing, the Asst Mgr. turned on me as though I was the problem! She was extremely abrasive & barking orders at her employees while she couldn't seem to handle the pressure of her customers, let alone trying to deal with my payment. In my opinion, she exhibited very poor management skills! I think Haley & especially Stephanie could benefit from further Customer Service Training, as well as training employees how to properly ring up gift cards. This has happened twice before when placing my orders inside, until the employees were assisted my other managers. I'm sure this incident caused an unpleasant experience for the customers in line as well as the folks dining in. As I was waiting, an elderly gentleman approached me to express his disappointment in the poor service he received. All in all, the workplace took on a hostile & toxic atmosphere for several minutes while I was dismissed & stood silently until I was finally allowed to repeat my order & pay using my gift card which was accepted immediately. The food was very fresh today & I will return for my friend's sake. All the other employees are always great to me, especially Merrick! He's an excellent & courteous employee who always recognizes me & greets me with a great smile!!! I will try to avoid Haley & Stephanie & just hope my gift card works next week. read more

We come here often after sports practices. I ordered the feast that comes with lemonade and cookies. Once I got my food I asked the lady at the window of the gravy was in there twice and she said yes. I got home and no gravy. I called and Chris told me to come down and he would make it right. My husband gets there and a bunch of employees are in the back doing a training and eating around food being prepared for customers (huge osha violation). He gives my husband the gravy and says he threw in cookies for inconvenience. When he gets home I let him know that we never even received the cookies that came with the meal. We drove 15 miles back just to get the gravy. Trainings should be done when you are closed! We won't be returning. I always give a place 2 times of mistakes and it's not worth it when there are many places out there that take very good care of you and appreciate your business. read more

Zero! my rating is zero. I ordered the 12 piece family meal extra crispy chicken. I got home and opened the chicken to serve to my kids. It was the complete opposite of crispy. I was a greasy disgusting looking mess. The chicken was not even cooked. It's warm at best. I immediately call them to see if they can replace it, but wait....nobody answers the phone. Put my order in and was told to park up front and didn't get a receipt . I waited 25 minutes watching workers going inside and out of the building so I went inside and they claimed they lost our order and didn't apologize. Once I get my stuff to leave and get back to my car the employee comes to the door and flips me off. I called the business number and I seems like they took it off the hook. I went to kfc tonight to enjoy dinner and the girl who was at the drive through window- I did not catch her name- but she was a short, Hispanic girl with long nails, black hair, and glasses. She was so rude to me and had a snappy attitude with me when I asked if she could add on a simple drink. She said she charged me extra for my water and when I asked for sauce gave me a single container when I had a 30$ order. I love KFC chicken, but I don't like extra crispy. Just a personal choice! I went through the drive through to order on 5/11/22 about 11:45 am. I ordered an 8 piece chicken only and a 12 piece meal. I asked for original. I was told that I had to get extra crispy for the 12 piece. WHY...? I don't like extra crispy! I was told I could take the extra crispy or come back in 25 minutes. I was in line. Cars are behind me. So I changed it to 12 piece tender meal. I asked her/the person taking my order to not be rude. I should be able to get the order I want. She said you can, if you come back in 25 minutes. I completed my order...which came to $69.49. As I sat in the drive through, I became more frustrated as this was now the second time I had not been able to get all original recipe. My thought was that their failure to plan should not impact me. When I reached the window, I asked the young lady if she had taken my order. She replied, no. I told her I would like to speak to whoever did. A woman came to the window. She told me her name a that she was one of the managers. I started to ask...but she was talking over me. I asked her to just listen to me. Her response was, "Oh, of course cause you are better than me. You think your better than me. Go ahead you talk." I told her I did not appreciate being yelled at about my choice of chicken. She stated that people can't hear so you have to speak loudly. She told me they were down a cook and did not have enough original recipe. I asked if everyone behind me ordered extra crispy? I had been hankering for fried chicken for some time, but just never was near KFC or Popeyes, but finally was close to the KFC in Meridian. Completely disappointed. The line was ridiculously long in the drive thru, and the dining room is currently closed due to COVID, so that was understandable. When it was my turn to order, I asked for extra crispy, but was encouraged to get original because the extra crispy would be at least a 20 minute wait. I'd already waited about 20 minutes to place my order, and was a little annoyed that they hadn't thought with a line around the building they should be dropping both original and extra crispy to serve. Anyway, I agreed to the original. It was cold, and soggy, and slid off the chicken. Ugh. Everything I ordered was cold, and old. Won't be going back. I wouldn't have been so annoyed about the wait if it had at least been fresh. read more

The KFCs in Boise are terrible. They get the order wrong more than half the time. They almost never have enough extra crispy chicken made to fill up a 12 piece bucket. Often I have to wait 20 minutes or more to get some. Tonight it was over 1 1/2 hours till closing and the manager told me they weren't planning to make any more chicken tonight, so I couldn't even wait for extra crispy. She said that she could give me half extra and half the other, when I got home 4 out of 12 pieces were extra crispy, so her definition of half is suspect. I'd already given up on the other locations in the area and now it's clear that this is a management problem with the company that owns all the KFCs in the area. Never again. read more

Terrible customer service. 1) this is one of the few restaurants that still only serving drive thru and the inability to have at least a couple of tables open for dining/pick up inside is deserving of zero stars. 2) because they are only drive thru some people might have trouble reading the menu outside and apparently staff also have trouble listening to customers because I ordered fried chicken strips but they gave me 5 full pieces of chicken. There is no excuse for this mistake or it is possible that they are just dishonest and wanted to charge more for the order. read more

Went to kfc for dinner I don't have one where I live. Got take out for 3 individual orders and none of them were correct. My chicken tender order was missing the Mac And cheese and I was not offered sauce for my chicken. My dads order had burnt chicken and wasn't appealing. My moms chicken had one more piece than ordered. Very disappointed in the experience I have missed having a kfc near me but will think twice before going back. Okay, I don't get why this place gets so much hate. Service can be inconsistent. But, the chicken here is pretty fresh for KFC. Definitely, better than most KFC I've attended. If you go to KFCs in different locations, the food and care they put in their food has definitely gone down over the years.
