They weren't kidding when they called it the fill up bowl! I can EAT and this is a lot of food for myself. Cheap compared to other fast food places for the amount. The Dr Pepper at this location isn't the best, not enough syrup, but other than that, it's good. read more

One of the better KFC's we've been to while traveling. Looks recently updated, VERY clean in the dining area as well as the restrooms, attributed to the employees that were cleaning instead of standing around doing nothing. There were 2 employees we noticed that when they were caught up in the kitchen with orders and no customers to wait on, they were changing out the trash and cleaning and wiping down tables AND chairs!! I signed up to Yelp just because of the terrible service at this KFC location. Bad weather coming in. So I thought a big order from the drive-through would be best before the snow hit. I live about 30 minutes out of town. Spent nearly $40. Didn't take the time to check every box, bucket and bag. Big mistake. Drove home, found about half my order missing. Called the place to complain. No apolpgy. All I got was a monotone, repeated, "do you have your receipt?" I will never spend another dime at this location. Didn't expect much from a KFC, but this one in Mcalester is the worst when it comes to taking care of their customers! We decided to stop thru here to grab some lunch on the way home from our long trip. The potpie we got was good but the grilled chicken thigh and leg our daughter got was dry and was very small for what the pictures portray on the menu but that's normally the case everywhere you go. Our biggest problem was with the very very RUDE customer service with the Mgr named R.G. or R.B. and one of their employees had. They were so EXTREMELY RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! Since our daughter's grilled chicken was dry, my husband went to the counter and asked if they had any BBQ sauce that she could use to help with the dryness and one of the employees looked at the mgr that was in the office next to her and then looked back at my husband and said that it would be 10 cents so my husband pulled out his wallet and was going to pay for it and she looked at him weird and said it's 10 cents and he said okay and she never gave it to him so he said so do I just need to get my money back for this $6 plate since the chicken is dry and then said there has to be someone to help me and she ignored him and didn't say anything, just kept looking at the office and didn't respond. So he just walked away and ended up coming back to the table without any BBQ sauce, so our daughter just decided not to worry about it and eat her chicken anyway since no one seemed interested in helping to fix the problem. A few moments later a very nice customer that happened to hear the whole conversation came by our table and handed us some BBQ sauce which was so very sweet but sad that it had to be that way. As we were leaving my husband went up to the mgr and nicely said I just wanted to let you know that our food was really good but just wanted you to be aware that my daughters chicken was dry and the mgr blurted out "well I don't know what your talking about and got very defensive with him. And then said well you should've asked for a mgr and then went on to say whatever to him. What kind of manager treats customers this way?! It's no wonder the employees treat their customers this way if that's the training they get! We don't expect to have 5 star service at KFC but we do expect to be treated as if we were the customer and not made to look stupid! So if your looking to be disrespected and not cared if the food your receiving is worth a flip, then you'll love this place! Just don't forget to get your sauces people or you just might end up getting a little attitude with that order!!! read more
