I like some heat but every place has their own scale, so I wasn't sure there I fell. The cashier said that the hot was about like flaming Cheetos. It's been awhile since I had those but remember them being pretty tame so went with "Hot" for my sandwich. I would NOT call the Hot tame, it was right at the max of what I can handle and next time would opt for the next rung down, medium. As someone who doesn't love fries, I appreciated that I could swap my side on the combo for the kale slaw without any upcharge. It had a nice flavor and crunch but mostly enjoyed its cooling qualities as my mouth was on fire. Also they had extra pickles on the side! I love pickles! Note to management: The bathroom could use my ventilation and maybe less perfume? I popped into wash my hands and could barely breathe over the strange chemical smell.

The breading was crisp and generally well-adhered. I think the biggest controversy is the seasoning which has a slight sweet almost cinnamon-y flavor. The medium heat sandwich was relatively mild with the cabbage and bread factored it but the hot-seasoned fries were actually quite spicy given the high surface area. I didn't really enjoy the heat overall however as it was a uni-dimensional cayenne heat. The pickles are great however, they tasted fresh with a mild-moderate tang and firm texture. Overall, I think this place is kind of a mixed bag. It's a bare-bones "restaurant" and they fresh fry their chicken so they are crunchy and hot. The portions are very filling and they nail small details like the buns. On the other hand, the fries are mediocre and the seasoning is lightly sweet which you can't opt out of. I think it's still worth trying at least once but expect it to be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place.

Everytime I visit this KFC, they never have any chicken and it's a waiting game. I've been patient long enough tonight I went to the drive up and ordered just a 12 piece original meal and was told it would be about a 20 minuet wait so I said okay crispy would be okay and was told a 16 minute. THIS IS A CHICKEN PLACE and they don't have chicken???? The management needs to clean house here because this crew is either being very lazy or not very well trained, heck maybe it's the management itself being too cheap and only letting them prepare so much chicken. Either way this place really is ghetto. I have been very patient my last few visits but no more. I for one am NEVER going to go there again. YOU DON"T HAVE CHICKEN FOR A 12 PIECE REALLY!!!!! It's pretty bad when you are in the drive through and have to wait 10 minutes and no one is ahead of you for someone to finally acknowledge you are there at the order intercom, then after waiting that time you get told they have no chicken! This is a "CHICKEN PLACE" HELLO! This has happened to me here before and I just don't learn because I go back for more of the same. I agree this location should be closed down because many times they have been out of different products. It doesn't do any good to call the "CORPORATE" office and complain because they don't give a rat's butt either! I'm done going to this place, just close it down and do us all a big favor. read more

And they were all busy-wiping down tables, cleaning the glass on the door, checking in on customers, etc. Nobody was standing around looking bored. And while they were working, they were greeting people and offering to refill drinks and clear trash. The operation is impressive-it's obvious that these folks are well trained and take pride in their work. I'm so glad I took the extra few minutes to slow down and go inside.
