I've been to this location five times. The first two visits were great--good service, no complaints. On my third visit, they were out of chicken and said it would take 20 minutes, but at least they told me before I ordered. The fourth time, it was the same issue--no chicken--but they didn't say anything until after I paid. I ended up waiting 30 minutes, and it was clear they were short-staffed with only three employees. Now, the fifth time (which was yesterday), I placed an online order for pickup. When I arrived, no one was at the counter, and I waited about 10 minutes for someone to show up. I told them I was there for a pickup, and they said, "We don't have an order for pickup." I showed them my confirmation, and they replied, "Okay, it's going to be 20 minutes--we're out of tenders." They gave me my cups, but when I went to get a drink, they were out of about 90% of the sodas. When I mentioned it, I got a dirty look and a dismissive, "Yeah, we're out of almost everything, sorry." Meanwhile, I waited another 20 minutes at the counter because the employee just walked to the back and never came out again. One person was cooking, one was working the drive-thru, and the third acted like doing her job was a huge inconvenience. So, I have mixed feelings about this location. Sometimes I go and everything is perfect. Food is cooked well and just like I like it. I also get everything that I ordered. Today was not one of those days. I ordered a 8 piece family meal with sides and did not get one of my sides. Unfortunately, I did not realize this u til I got home. For $32 for a family meal I would expect to get the entire order correct in every way. Sometimes I go and chicken is not fresh or I ask for sides a certain way or the entree a certain way and do not get it. Sometimes you just want KFC. Doors locked, saw not even one worker but a huge drive-through line. This left me with two assumptions. One: Not enough workers to clean inside which means possible contamination areas and an overworked employee or two which could also lead to possible food safety issues. A lot of places think they can get by with this and nobody will question it since covid. Assumption Two: This business is terrified of germs or wants to make a political statement regardless of potential loss of customers. Being pregnant and not wanting a miscarriage or food poisoning, I immediately came here and saw a plethora of nasty reviews and decided not to risk my safety. It's a shame that some people are so greedy and the laws are so corrupt that they just allow potential unacceptable hazards to afflict human beings in order to make/save some money. My bf picked up some food for me this evening from there, and it was impossible to eat a lot of it. He placed the order at around 9:30 pm for a 3 piece meal with potato wedges and macaroni and cheese. Well, the 'food' was awful, and had obviously been there for HOURS. I think that eating shoe leather would be easier than the potato wedges. The chicken was horrible. And also very old. It had turned mushy,slimy, greasy, and was very dark brown. I've never seen a piece of KFC chicken look like this. The taste was really bad. It had an almost metallic taste. Mac and cheese was very cold. In fact, EVERYTHING was cold. We only live five minutes away, so it should have been still hot. The biscuit was so old that it could easily be used as a hockey puck. I couldn't even tear it apart with my hands. Went to get dinner for the family tonight, the doors were locked but employees and customers in store. Tried to open door several times but it was locked. No sign on door? We noticed there where cars in drive through so we got in line when we got to the window an employee (female) told us it would be 35-40 for any chicken. I mean how hard is it to put up a note on doors? It's around dinner time not sure how a fast food place run's low on food but the interaction with employees said it all. We're not going back. The store hours for this location are a lie, the location knows they are incorrect, KFC corporate knows they are incorrect, but they will steal money from you and hold on to it for weeks if you place an order at that time, yet they cannot be bothered to fix it. Online says open for takeout, no signs on the door stating the lobby was closed, plus the door was open & all lights were on, but when I walked to the counter, I was told the lobby was closed (by 4 different employees) and asked how I got in. My order was refused and I was told I would have to go through the drive thru. Wouldn't have been as much of a problem to me, except that everything appeared and functioned as though they were open as normal. They only had 2 pieces of chicken that looked as if they had been sitting out for days! We asked for more food, fresh food on the bar that is, and was refused. So disappointed. KFC on Clinton Hwy in Knoxville Tn., I normally have great service from them but today I decided to order from the app, thinking that " how convenient and quick." MY Mistake. I ordered two (2) $30.00 each meals that included an 8 piece bucket of chicken and 8 piece tenders, 1 large mash potatoes and gravy,1 large coleslaw and large fries. Again I ordered two of these meals, 1 Xtra crispy and the other in original. And added a half gallon of lemonade and a redeemed a free chicken sandwich with no pickles. They had over and hour to get this ready. My spouse and grandson picked up the order on their way home and it was missing 1 of the entire $30 meals and the one we did get was cold. Then the chicken sandwich not only had pickles on it but it had extra pickles on it. I also asked for barbecue sauce for the tenders and got everything but the barbecue sauce. My spouse and grandson left home went back to them and said we were missing the second chicken meal on the order. They gave my grandson a bucket of chicken and biscuits only. So I get on cell phone speaker phone to speak with the manager because they never pick up the phone and it rings/busy like it is off the line. I explained what was missing and the issues. The Manager or lady said she couldn't remake all of that food without having the food back. I asked how was I suppose to bring back the items I didn't even get. She said she gave use more chicken and biscuits and that was all she would do. So I pay over $70.00 for only have my food order. No way! I want something done about this and I still have a whole house to feed dinner. I am calling corporate on them. Got a super nice customer service representative and she took my info and I held for refund department just to get disconnected and it entered there personal voice-mail boxes. So I am calling back again. I use to work in customer service and now do analytic reporting for the same company so we can avoid customer dissatisfaction like these. I am more than happy to point out why the revenue suffers for the company as a whole on treating customers like this and where the failures are.second person to answer was super nice and got me over to that department. If this is how the store treats the customers from online/app order and try to short them food/items and serve the old cold food and get stuff wrong then no wonder people do not use it more often. This is the poorest service I have had with a restaurant in a very long time. So I send out the warning... Watch Out! I called corporate # and they refunded the items and all is good. But I would warn u to not take this type of service from what u are paying large sums of money for. If we make them aware of the issues then corporate will make steps to correct this type of behavior and lack of service issues. Corp did fix my issues. If I could rate them lower than a one then I would, sadly that's not the case. I went through the drive thru and my cashier's name was Elizabeth and she sounded unfriendly from the beginning of me pulling up to the speaker. I began to order and the entire time she was just rude. The order wasn't repeated and it was incorrect. I pull to the window to get the receipt to see what was messed up so I could let them know. They didn't care. I also asked for ketchup and Elizabeth said you're getting on my nerves and slams it shut. I call the store to speak to the manager and she was even more inappropriate saying she was short staffed and she didn't know what she wanted me to do about it. this is the worst experience i have ever had at a kfc. we had a larger order, i asked to have it read back to us at the window to ensure it was correct, the lady with short blonde hair then rolled her eyes and then read us back the order.. so far not off to a good start. we then got to talking to jojo (the lady with great eyelashes) who was really great. we was asked to pull to the side, understandable. but then, this is where it gets horrible and turns into a horror story. the man finally brought out our order, even tho people that ordered after us had already received their food, i explained to the man that there was no straws given to us and asked for some honey as well since he was already going back.. while he did that we checked the order.. i had ordered two extra biscuits, which were not in the bags at all, and we had thought we were missing a cole slaw as well. he went back to retrieve the biscuits and slaw, and then came back empty handed and said that the slaw was in the big box and the biscuits were in the small box, so while he was there we went through everything again, we did in fact have the slaw but the biscuits were not there, in total we were supposed to have 4 and there was only 2 in both bags... he went back in, and never returned. we walked to the window, knocked, they looked at us, and we said, 2 biscuits?? the man pointed at the door as if he was going to bring the biscuits out, and then never did. so i called the store, and sheena wirkowski answered the phone. i said he we're the car that's been setting out here waiting on the biscuits. she said oh the car with the biscuits in the small box.. i said there are only two biscuits in the bags and there are 4 ordered total, you can even come look at my car. she then stated that she wasn't a private investigator and didn't need to come to my car while laughing about it like its the biggest joke she had ever heard. she then stated that she had just been previously "bitched at" from the previous car and this is where my car erupted, we all work in customer service, we all are essential workers. so we get the stress, we get that things happen, but when i asked her to not use that language, she said, "what language" like she didn't even realize she was using curse words. by no means is that customer service. and especially for her to be a manager, (i'm assuming) she then after i hung up on her brought out a small box and had a bag wadded up in her hand. she comes and hands me the items with this look on her face like she was ready to fight. she then sarcastically wanted to apologize and i let her know i was calling corporate because it was ridiculous that we had to wait that long over 2 biscuits. she then started being fake nice and then condescendingly stated, "don't catch the corona" as if she wanted us to catch it.. then continued to yell at us from the car. i admit we got loud and defensive because of how we were being talked too. but, i am highly offended, shocked, and appalled to have been treated this way by someone who works customer service every day of her life.. i want to be contacted by the general manager, and i would like to be contacted by upper management (corporate) as well as this is highly unacceptable and uncalled for in this pandemic we are in right now. and over two biscuits.. i believe that she should be terminated and not allowed to return to work if this is how she is going to treat people. i also believe that if this is how this establishment is ran it needs to be closed. i have been to kfc's in much worse areas and the roughest parts of towns and have never in my life been treated like i was tonight. i also believe that i should be refunded in total for the order just because of how we were treated. my ticket number was #1800 and the order number was g410048 2 162 1800. thank you. read more

This chicken was the literal bomb. The manager, Reggie, delivered sublime customer service. The buffet was fresh, the smiles were warm, the experience, like none other. To top it off, a clean environment with close to 100 on their health score. Spotless tables, friendly staff, and above all, delectable fare. By far, my nicest KFC experience so far. read more
