Review of Dairy Drive-In…read more I don't usually leave reviews, but what happened last Friday can't be ignored. Pulled up to the Dairy Drive-In for a cheeseburger and a milkshake. Everything was fine until he showed up. Jacob Massie -- the so-called "Fart Goblin." Thought it was just some dumb joke online, but no. He's real. I had just gotten my food, parked, and unwrapped my burger when the air shifted. Out of nowhere, this kid comes strutting across the lot with the evilest grin I've ever seen. Before I could even take a bite, he let one rip so foul it soaked into my food. My fries smelled like burnt rubber, my milkshake like rotten eggs. Totally inedible. I tried to escape, but when I started my car, he hit me again. Next thing I know, there's a pop under the hood and smoke pouring out. My Honda is toast. A couple other cars started sputtering too. He just laughed, waved, and walked off like he owned the place. The worst part? Staff acted like it was normal. One kid at the window shrugged and said, "Yeah... Jacob's been around."

The walk was less than half a mile and took less than 10 minutes. Upon arrival, we were unsure what the process was, so we asked the lady at the cashier. She informed us that we would order and pay, and then the food would be brought to us. After deciding what we wanted, we ordered our food for dining in, paid - cash only, then seated ourselves. After the food was ready, it was brought out to our table.  My man had the ham, cheese, and eggs, with added bacon and light butter on a baguette. I had bacon, cheese, and eggs, with added avocado and light butter, also on a baguette. For beverages, he had coffee, and I opted for black tea. The beverages were very hot!! The place seems to be popular for their baked goods. While we were there, a few people came in and out for the baked items. Our sandwiches were good except the butter was so melted that it was dripping from the sandwiches all over the plate. That also indicated that it wasn't lightly applied. Maybe next time we'll try something other than the baguette. At first, the two employees didn't seem friendly, but after chatting with them, they were very pleasant. They must have been really busy prior to us arriving. One thing I did not notice was a bathroom on the property. But, since neither of us needed to use the bathroom, we didn't ask. One could very well be there. It is a quaint little business that seems to do good with baked items. They even have free wifi, which seems to be a big trend for most businesses on the island. She handed us one bag and told us to have a nice day. All that was in the bag was fries and our cups, no sandwiches. She wasn't understanding us at first when we told her what we were missing. Luckily I was given a receipt to show her cause she said she had no idea what we were talking about. She told us to hold because it was going to take time for the cook to refry? We finally received our food and are concerned as to why our Big Macs were not built correctly (see pic attached.) This seems to be a widespread issue with McDonalds which indicates poor training/hiring practices.
