This store is on my blacklist, just on the first impression! I placed an order in the app to pick up some food, and was hoping to puck it up in the drive-through. Apparently, that wasn't good enough for them, as they made me come in to pick up the food. There was nobody in the drive-drive-through; and yet, they insisted that I come inside to wait on an order that I could've done in the comfort of my car. The IDGAF was on a full court press as they prepped my food. Oh! And the music was so loud, I couldn't hear my own thoughts. The food was almost average, but the service turned me off completely. I popped into the Hermitage Kentucky Fried Chicken store at Oakwood Commons to grab a couple of orders of chicken livers for my brother. Every time I come to Nashville I try to buy some for him because he loves them so much. He always looks forward to my visits, especially when I have chicken livers. I didn't want to go to the drive thru so I went inside the store to order. I was impressed with how clean the store was and the friendly people at the counter. I asked for two orders of chicken livers. Yum yum !! However I was very disappointed when the young man at the counter told me that they didn't sell chicken livers at that store. I know they used to; I've bought them here many times. He suggested I go to the store in Nashville but I told him I really didn't feel like driving that far especially in Nashville rush-hour traffic. Dude. You have no idea ...what a mess traffic is here now!! I know they used to sell chicken livers at this KFC store but I guess they just quit selling them. It was hit or miss before - sometimes they would have them and sometimes they would not. Even then they advised me to call first to make sure they had them. I guess nobody bought them. Except me. I'm pretty sad to hear that because my brother always looks forward to my coming over whenever I'm in Nashville and bringing those delicious KFC chicken livers I went to visit my brother anyway (with no livers) and we arranged to go out for catfish tomorrow night. This KFC is absolutely ridiculous I ordered a famous bowl and asked for chicken and corn on the side and they told me they had to charge me for the chicken and corn to be on the side which makes sense if it was like $.10 for the container but they tried to charge me for the whole side which would include the chicken and the container. Making my five dollar famous bowl now a $10-$12 bowl. I've never been charged for asking for the chicken and corn on the side but I totally understood if it was a new rule but the rule doesn't make sense you do you have me paying for the chicken twice. The people that work here are very unfriendly. They try not to speak clearly and twice we have received our order that was not accurate. The last order for a bucket with mashed potatoes and coleslaw came with no white meat and no breasts and instead of mashed potatoes was macaroni & cheese. The Original Recipe Chicken came out hot and tasty. It was five star worthy. The order came out quickly. I deducted a star for the corn. It was a little tough and I have tasted better. The girl working the window didn't appreciate me asking a question about chicken livers, they were out, and she popped off with an attitude so I said just cancel my order. She threw my card at me into my car, slammed the window and walked away with an attitude. So I parked my car and was going to go in and speak with the manager, it's drive thru only. So I called and the manger was talking through someone, didn't even have the decency to get on the phone and said the employee would be spoke to. That was it. Service was terrible! Such an unpleasant experience. The women at the drive thru seemed irritated before I even spoke. I wasn't even decently greeted. I used to work fast food too and was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but she was just so unnecessarily rude. Huffing over the microphone and rushing me to complete my order. And then at the window she half opens the window trying to avoid eye contact and shoves me drinks with grunts. After she gives me my food bag I asked her for the receipt and she rolls her eyes. I tell her i'm missing two items and she starts to raise her voice telling me it's all there when i'm trying to explain to her it's right on the receipt but not in the bag. Also I was trying to keep a calm voice with her the entire time she's getting loud with me. Despite the fact how uncomfortable I was because she also had one hand inside of her jacket just sitting like she was waiting to pull a gun on me perhaps?? She snatched my card out of my hand and was acting as if she was annoyed to be at work. I wish I had checked the reviews before I went to this location! Went today, a Sunday afternoon, and the guy at The window told Us they couldn't serve the Cajun chicken sandwiches until Monday and he didn't know why. So, we ordered regular chicken sandwiches and they tasted like they were from the day before. The Chicken was so overcooked we couldn't chew it and the bun was hard like it had been microwaved or left out a long time. The fries were ice cold. The mayonnaise on the sandwiches tasted like tarter sauce and since KFC is a chicken place, it was quite scary that it tasted like that since everything else tasted so old. I used to like to come here because I love kfc and all the sides but today we came in and went through the drive through to order a bucket of chicken meal. When we arrived at the window, my son wanted to add on a sprite and some wedges. The man working the drive through said "we can't add to an order". ???Uh, what?? Isn't it your job to sell food here? My family is eating here for lunch, and our experience is pleasant. We got the $20 family fill up, and instead of the sides it comes with, we asked for Mac and cheese. I visited this store twice in a week. It was at approx. 8:30 P. M. They close at 10:00 P. M. I ordered three original wings. Got to the window and they lady said, we ain't got none, and we ain't cooking anymore. I asked then what do you have? Nothing! was her response. She then said let me see what we got. I left with something thing I didn't want. Later in the week I returned to the same store went inside placed my order and the server was so rude, I left without the order. It is said that KFC never responds to complaints, this is serious and needs attention soon. They need new management and crew on the evening shift. I won't be shopping there in the future. read more
